Descripción
Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy is a floral fragrance for women launched in 2010 by the house Givenchy. The composition, created by perfumer François Demachy, unfolds an olfactory pyramid that begins with top notes of Amalfi lemon, Amalfi lime, basil, and tangerine orange. The heart of the fragrance reveals floral elegance through rose tincture and ylang-ylang, while the base settles on ambrette musk, musk, and tonka bean.

Demachy is a master of perfumed waters. This is a fine example: it possesses beauty, harmony, elegance, and subtlety, with a touch of sensuality that shocks some. I liked the simple packaging (though I would have removed the label and the outdated photos on the box). It smells of fresh rose, subtle ylang, tonka bean, sweet orange with basil and ambrette. It’s timeless, fits in perfectly, and matches my good mood. I’ll take it on my trip to use it during the day. It’s tolerable in heat, but I’ll test it in the cold because I believe it expresses itself better there. Good sillage and lasts more than 5 hours.
Red, white, and pink roses with a sweet hint—not vanilla, but dark sugar or honey, with mandarins. Good longevity but low sillage. Still, it’s delicate and exquisite. A feminine, fresh, and youthful perfume.
I loved it, although it sounded identical to my Cacharel Scarlett. It leaves a sweet honey-orange scent, very delicious.
Changing my mind was wise: when it dries down, it resembles Scarlet, but ultimately not quite as much. The Scarlet is floral and insanely sweet, whereas this Givenchy smells like water, soft, with a delicate citrus touch. Medium longevity and a soft sillage; it quickly became another one of my favorites.
Red, white, and pink roses, with a sweet touch, but not vanilla—more like black sugar or honey, with mandarin… good longevity, but low sillage. Still, it’s a delicate and exquisite perfume. Feminine, fresh, and youthful.
Thanks to Mercedes’s question, I’m reviewing this magnificent fragrance again—fresh and delicate. If I had to use one adjective, it would be romantic; it smells like first love, fresh, without pretense or scars. Despite seeming naive, it’s not a sweet childish juice; it’s resolutely elegant. I have a vial, and I remember thinking when I spilled some on my arm that it smelled like Audrey Hepburn. While others connect it to L’Interdit, to me it smells more like the fragility of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It opens with very fragrant, sweet mandarin, like ripe fruit, with hints of lemon and green lime, then mutates into deep, fresh roses—not powdery, but citrusy and green (they remind me of the smell of spring in my grandmother’s garden, where she grew five varieties of roses, jasmine, neroli, lilies, and carnations); lightly covered in dew, a rose garden at summer dawn, fresh, soft, and natural. In the end, the roses leave their citrus aspect and yield to white musk and tonka, adding depth to the flowers’ youthful vibe. A feminine, delicate, and subtle perfume, deeply beautiful and unobtrusive. Delicate trail (just skin scent) and longevity between 2 to 5 hours.
This is a very personal perfume; it’s not for every woman, which makes it seductive to me. The issue is that it doesn’t last at all. I own Poison and Addict, which have massive longevity and incredible sillage. This one lacks power and doesn’t last. It’s like a match that flares up for a few seconds and then goes out. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
To me, it has perfume quality, even though it’s an eau de cologne. I love well-balanced citrus notes that aren’t harsh, along with neroli and roses. The bottle is sober and classic. It’s a delicate and feminine fragrance meant for everyday wear and summer. Since it doesn’t follow current trends, it’s hard to find.
I tried it recently and was surprised. Its simple bottle was next to a flashy celebrity one, but I preferred this based on the name. It’s a classic yet modern scent, a fresh rose. The opening is very citrusy, almost bitter, then the rose comes out, slightly powdery but fresh. The dry-down is very pleasant and wearable, with a vintage air, like old colognes. I like it for late spring and early summer due to its brightness, for work or casual night outings.
I tried it yesterday and it caught me off guard; the simple bottle was next to a celebrity one, but I chose this based on the name. It’s classic yet modern, a fresh rose. The opening is very citrusy, almost bitter, then the rose emerges, slightly talc-like but fresh. The dry-down is very pleasant and wearable, with a vintage air reminiscent of old colognes. I liked it for late spring and early summer due to its brightness, ideal for daytime work or informal night outings.
The opening is citrusy, green, and a bit strong; you can tell the basil with lemon. Then it calms down, leaving the basil but making way for exquisite roses. These aren’t naive roses; they have presence and elegance. The musk and tonka bean in the dry-down give it personality and depth, making it classic and vintage, very different from today’s sweet vanilla scents. Best for daytime, maybe at the office. I imagine a classic yet fresh woman, responsible, delicate, and feminine with strength and charm. It doesn’t last long; after 3 hours, it’s just skin scent.
I can’t explain how good it smells—it’s citrusy and floral from start to finish. It’s not a common fresh scent; it’s very feminine. Despite being light, it lasts a long time. Fantastic.
I don’t know how to explain how delicious this perfume is: it’s citrusy and floral from start to finish. It’s not just commonly fresh citrus; it’s very feminine. Despite being light, it has great longevity. Fantastic.
I didn’t like the opening due to the basil, although the longevity and projection are good, so much so that it overwhelms people who aren’t fans. I had a boyfriend who couldn’t stand it and asked me not to wear it anymore. After a few hours, it becomes soft and floral, which is the only part I enjoy. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I didn’t like its aromatic opening due to the basil, although it has good longevity and projection on my skin, so much that it overwhelms those who don’t like this type of fragrance. I had a boyfriend who said he couldn’t stand it and asked me never to wear it again. After a couple of hours, it becomes very soft and floral, the only thing I like. I wouldn’t buy it again.
I was really excited to try it; lately, I’ve been drawn to several perfumes from this brand, and based on the notes, I thought I’d love it, but it’s not my style. It smells very musky, like vintage soap—I’m not sure if it’s the rose and double musk, though it lasts a long time on the skin. If you don’t enjoy roses or soapy scents, it’s really not for you.
I was really eager to try this; lately I’ve been obsessed with several scents from this brand, and based on the notes, I thought it would be my perfume, but it’s just not my style. It smells very musky, like vintage soap—I’m not sure if it’s the rose and double musk, but it lasts incredibly long on the skin. If you don’t like roses or soapy scents, just skip it.
I love this fragrance; it’s fresh and long-lasting. I can’t explain how much I love its dry-down: floral from start to finish. Roses, exquisite roses that start slightly citrusy and then wrap around with the basil, which, despite being a top note, I can almost smell until the end. It gives a perfect balance. I don’t wear it in summer because I don’t enjoy roses at those 38 to 45-degree temperatures; it seems like a fragrance for young adult women with a jovial character, best suited for spring or autumn and for daily wear.
I absolutely love it—it’s fresh and lasts all day. The dry-down is next level: floral from start to finish. Exquisite roses that begin with citrus notes before enveloping in basil, which, despite being an initial note, I can still smell almost until the end. Perfect balance. I don’t wear it in summer because I can’t handle roses at 38-45 degrees; the heat here is brutal. Ideal for young adult women with a cheerful character, best for spring or autumn for everyday wear.
