Without losing the DNA of the classic Eau de Rochas, it maintains a clean, bath gel scent. It reminds me of Legrain’s mousse. I really liked it because it’s a very pleasant scent for summer. Still, it has its own personality and consistency; it has body. Fortunately, it didn’t end up being bland; it has its own identity.
As a loyal user of the classic Eau de Rochas, I tried L’Essentiel. The scent is charming, clean, pleasant, fresh… a wonder I’ll definitely try again in summer, since I tested it on my skin and it didn’t last two hours. I commend those for whom the scent lasts, because it’s gorgeous, but I have to give it more chances.
Hi everyone, I love this fragrance so much and it lasts forever; on my skin I can smell it all day, and on clothes it’s amazing. It’s a clean, freshly showered scent, fantastic. Trying it is a total all-rounder.
I went to buy another fragrance but fell in love with this one. I tested it on my hand and couldn’t stop smelling it. It was instant love, so much so that I bought it the very next day. At first, it’s very citrusy and quickly turns into a mineral, aquatic, very bitter scent that I adore. The pity is it doesn’t last long, but it’s one of my favorite fragrances.
An updated, digitized, almost robotic Eau de Rochas. It’s a giant lime, bursting with juice, but above all metallic and abstract. A portrait of Rochas’s classic freshness, now synthesized. A reinterpretation that avoids naturalism to focus on the concept: it evokes that effervescent freshness created with technology, AI, and virtual reality. It paints an ethereal, constant freshness, like notes sounding together on a well-studied scale and harmony. The essence of Eau de Rochas crafted to conquer new generations of lovers of well-executed synthetic scents: metallic, ethereal, electronic, and Platonic. Mineral Eau de Rochas.

It smells straight up like lemon leaves; it’s super fresh and a must for summer. The only downside is it doesn’t last, not even two hours, even if you douse yourself. Wish it lasted longer, it’s a shame.
At first, it smells like ultra-realistic lemon zest, super citrusy, but it fades incredibly fast and leaves that classic Rochas signature. To me, it reminds me of the dried-down version of ‘Aires de Sevilla’ or the ‘Azahar’ from the TV show, or even Jo Malone’s Lime. In the end, it turns bitter and soapy, like an orange leaf. Personally, I prefer the opening because once it dries down, it gets a bit vintage.
I grabbed this when I was a guy and I’m obsessed with how fresh and zesty it is. I use it right after a shower or just to chill at home in the summer—it’s my lifesaver.
