Great vibe, I recommend it. Every perfume has its place, and everything matches the price and the occasion. 👌🥰

Ugh, so many bad reviews on YouTube and TikTok from those reviewers. For how it smells, it should cost more; these are such fascinating and rich fragrances 😋. You can tell it’s fruity, aromatic, aquatic, fresh, clean, and a little musky. As the saying goes, if it smells good, it has to be liked, no matter what. I no longer trust YouTube or TikTok reviewers, unfortunately. Better to go to a perfume store to test them myself. Others on my list that I’ve already tested in-store: 1- Cartier Noire Sport 2- Bond No.9 Sutton Place 3- Jovoy Psychedelique

Just tried it and I have very good first impressions. It seems like a versatile perfume that everyone will like and that I won’t get tired of.

Excellent value for money considering what’s out there today. Fragrance 4×4. Rich aroma, moderate longevity, and versatile. What more could you ask for? I think it’s really underrated… There are so many snobs out there,

Some people like to highlight fragrances by denigrating them, as if that places them on a pedestal of unique noses and wealthy wallets. It seems some use this fragrance for that purpose. I’m not saying it’s the best, but I also don’t think it deserves to be trashed so badly!

Just added to my collection and I only bought it blindly because I got it at a decent price, thinking it smelled like D&G Light Blue (which it doesn’t seem to resemble at all). For now, it’s a huge disappointment… Those who say it’s similar to Light Blue must have severe olfactory fatigue. The fragrance smells quite ordinary and synthetic on first impression, like the bad kind you buy at any supermarket. I’ll wait a couple more days to see if the bad first impression changes or if this is definitely another disappointment and wasted money.

A small disappointment. Although I need to do more testing, it smells a lot like, or almost exactly like, Sportman Endgame, which isn’t listed on Fragrantica. I suppose Sportman would notice this since it came out later. Luckily I got it at a good price, but if not, you can get the other one for practically the same price, with more quantity and better quality.

In the dry down, it’s like the white-label version of Office for Men, but with less punch. That alone doesn’t have to be bad; it’s very office-appropriate for everyday wear. Pleasant, safe, and a bit timid fragrance for being correct from Monday to Friday. Nothing more.
svazquez7
Regular aroma, nothing surprising, lasts about half a day, and projects little. Aquatic and that’s it. For 25€ it’s good and works for the gym.

L’Homme is a fresh perfume with blue tones but not aquatic. It’s an aromatic/fruity scent, quite masculine, elegant, and at the same time versatile. On the opening, you notice a lot of blood orange, a citrus juice with a small bitter hint. The pineapple and cardamom link the citrus with the sweetness that appears gradually as it dries. Geranium, tonka bean, and moss are what I feel most on the skin. Longevity is good, the trail is low but the duration is acceptable. I’d say it works very well with temperate and warm climates, both day and night. And I repeat what I said at the beginning, it feels elegant but versatile. Let’s call it an “Elegant Sport.” I think it’s ideal for the office, although it’s also good for summer outings. * Extra note: it’s one of those fragrances that reactivate with water and sweat.

This perfume is fresh and masculine; although at first it may seem like it doesn’t surprise, IT SURPRISES. Complex citrus and exquisite fruity opening, followed by freshness from juniper and mint, with a delicate fresh floral touch (at first I thought it was sage, it turned out to be geranium) that gives way to a clean base with body. Here moss is not the protagonist, it’s in the background holding the fragrance, giving it intensity and body without standing out, adding masculinity. After a few hours, the tonka beans appear combined with the moss. In this stage it can have a certain reminiscence to AB Icon due to the combination of notes, saving differences in aromatic quality. In summary: fruity, fresh, masculine, clean, slightly aromatic, and lightly herbal. Excellent opening, 6h duration, and low projection.
Fedehart
Fresh and masculine, it starts simple but surprises you. Complex citrus and fruity opening, followed by freshness with juniper and mint. A delicate floral touch (geranium, not sage) leads to a clean, full-bodied base. Moss works in the background, adding intensity and masculinity without overpowering. Later, tonka bean and moss round it off nicely. Reminds me a bit of AB’s Icon due to the note combination, though the quality is different. In short: fruity, fresh, clean, herbal. Excellent sillage, 6-hour longevity, and contained projection.

Smells great and lasts a long time. Very convenient price.

I disagree with those who call it a bad product. Maybe it’s not Rochas’ most spectacular EAU de Toilette, but it’s certainly worth wearing, especially compared to today’s offerings. I don’t think it’s healthy to expect legendary houses to always be ‘on top of the wave’ without considering the historical context. Many young people wonder how Rochas pulled off ‘Monsieur Rochas’ without accounting for the tastes of the era. The opening is citrusy with a moderately sweet orange, but from the start, it’s an ode to cardamom (a bit artificial). Overall, it’s not unpleasant, but on my skin, the notes don’t quite blend. In the dry down, the cardamom reveals juniper and basil accords (I don’t detect the geranium), and gradually, the sweet tonka bean softens that artificial edge. The patchouli is there only as a whisper, very faint, perhaps with an imperceptible moss. The best part of L’Homme is the dry down. It’s masculine, pleasant, elegant without being flashy, ideal for going unnoticed but smelling great. It could be a good complement for gentlemen and young people alike. I wish it were more popular. Longevity and projection are acceptable. I recommend giving it a try without prejudice.

A modern take on the legendary Taxi, a bit sweeter and less potent. Honestly, I liked it quite a bit. It’s one of those perfumes that can’t go wrong.
Fragancefran
Fresh, aromatic, and semi-sweet fruity scent. Maybe due to the sanguine note. Very versatile for day and night semi-formal occasions, less so for winter. I detect a soft suede note on my skin. It didn’t last more than 6 hours on me, but the first hour had a great trail. Overall, it’s a scent that won’t disappoint anyone and delivers well for formal and semi-formal moments. Given the price, it’s a solid option.

This review is to vindicate this fragrance a bit and the Rochas house (acquired by Interparfums). The first time I smelled it, I liked it a lot. After reading the reviews, I smelled it again; influenced by experts, I wasn’t as satisfied, but I was sure my first impression didn’t deceive me. I tried it two more times and it really convinced me, so I bought it. Sometimes reviews go out of hand; it seems houses like Rochas are forced to release risky, authorial perfumes… how many who criticize this L’Homme have bought the new Moustache EDP, which some call weird? I understand Rochas has to release commercial fragrances to compete with giants like L’Oréal or LVMH. This is still a Rochas in terms of quality, between 20-40 euros, smells very good, and is versatile, positioning itself well as a purchase against others of a similar style, being less expensive. It has a sweetened citrus opening, without much pineapple or acidity. Then come the herbs of basil and juniper, and at the bottom the creamy patchouli, tonka bean barely noticeable (except to give sweetness) and moss maintains the herbal tone. It’s vitalizing, carefree, with a little sweetness and a modern fougère. Longevity on my skin 6h, on clothes until the next day. I feel it’s very versatile, easy to wear and combine. It won’t revolutionize perfumery, but to me it seems like a very good fragrance at a good price that fulfills its purpose. One could say there are other proposals in its range, but this is a matter of taste. I bought it for 20 euros and it turns a thousand times more than the insubstantial new ones by Alberto Morillas for Zara, which last very little. Criticizing it with such ferocity seems disproportionate. I liked it and use it gladly in spring. Au revoir! EDIT: in fresh spring it seemed like it wasn’t there, but when night came and I dressed to sleep, with body heat, its scent reached me.

This review is to stand up for this fragrance and the house of Rochas. The first time I smelled it, I loved it. After reading the reviews and smelling it again, influenced by opinions from knowledgeable people, I wasn’t as satisfied. However, since I was sure my first impression hadn’t deceived me, I tried it two more times, and it truly convinced me. Sometimes reviews go off the rails, and it seems like houses are forced to always launch risky perfumes. How many of those who criticize this Rochas L’Homme have bought the new Moustache EDP, which some call weird? I understand Rochas needs to release more commercial fragrances to compete with giants like L’Oréal or LVMH. This fragrance maintains the quality of a Rochas, costs between 20-40 euros, smells great, and is versatile, positioning itself very well as a purchase compared to similar but more expensive ones. It starts with a sweetened citrus note; I don’t notice much pineapple (and if there is, it’s not acidic). Then come the herbal notes of basil and juniper, and in the base, patchouli adds creaminess, tonka bean is barely noticeable (except for sweetness), and moss keeps the herbal tone. It’s vitalizing, carefree, with a bit of sweetness, and a modern fougère. It lasts 6 hours on skin and clothes until the next day. I find it very versatile, easy to wear and combine. It won’t revolutionize perfumery, but for me, it’s a very good fragrance at a great price that fulfills its purpose. Criticizing it so harshly seems disproportionate. I liked it and use it gladly in spring. EDIT: On cool spring days, it seems absent, but when night falls and I get dressed for bed, with body heat, the scent reaches me.

THE UNCORONED KING: An ‘under rated’ and little understood fragrance that quickly became my favorite. Sweet citrus opening with a discreet floral combination, concluding with a woody touch with moss and patchouli. It’s well balanced, shines during the day but is also used well at night. Blood orange is perfectly identifiable at the start, similar to the ‘K’ by D&G, but the pineapple gives it more sweetness; at 20 minutes they take different directions. It has a discreet and mystical character; it’s not an atomic bomb, but to enchant discreetly. The fixative is very good: sprayed on clothes without using it lasted a week; on skin it lasts 4h with good intensity and degrades without losing itself until 7h (my skin is a devourer), maintaining 90% of the original aroma. Personally, of the 5 people I showed it to, all 5 gave compliments (men and women of all ages), finding it pleasant, distinctive, elegant, and masculine. I think it’s more for men 30+, although I wouldn’t be surprised if someone 20 appreciates it. The bottle is simple but of good quality, sober and elegant, following the ‘thousand stripes’ pattern of the box, with a thick metal cap, heavy chrome that seals the atomizer perfectly. It adds the class of Rochas as an exponent of Haute Couture and you have a fragrance that will please you, adding class without being pretentious. It’s casual and even formal, balanced between modern and classic, usable during the day, but not absurd for night in sober environments. If you combine it with formal clothes it will stand out more; it’s discreet but with distinction; it’s the fragrance that, without pretensions, lavishes class. Extra data: the atomizer is very good, few people analyze it but it marks performance; here it sprays as it should, with uniform ‘mist’ consistency on clothes or body, a plus worth the price. Recommended sprays: 4 to 7. Fixative: 9. Trail: Moderate. Intensity: Moderate. Award: ‘Great Class’.

I simply love it! It might be because something curious happened to me… When I first encountered it, it felt familiar, but I didn’t know what it reminded me of. Until my mother smelled it and said if it wasn’t Mystère by Rochas (her favorite), I realized they have a certain similarity. Due to their green notes, they might seem similar, but there are also differences. Mystère was stronger, elegant, animalic, woody, floral, and had many more nuances. An excellent perfume, pity it no longer exists. L’Homme is a bit happier, has a bit of mystery, but adds seriousness, like many Rochas perfumes that, however versatile, always project formality. This one has it. It can be casual but with a touch of elegance. It can be used in summer to refresh yourself or in winter to comfort yourself. I see it as more daytime than nighttime, but on summer nights, it fits perfectly. The age range is broad, fitting best between 27 and 50 years old. Probably the association with Mystère makes me appreciate it a lot, but I really don’t see it as bad. The only downside is its duration, which doesn’t go beyond 4 hours, but the price is excellent and it’s worth giving a chance to a jewel like this. Without a doubt, this and Moustache EDP are my favorites among many current perfumes.

It doesn’t quite reach generic fragrance status, but it’s the typical one for going to the office and nothing more. No risk, no passion. Nowadays, it seems most brands opt to create products to make money with minimal effort. I don’t know if anything of innovation and artistic creation remains outside the niche. The 80s and 90s were witnesses to unforgettable perfumes like Kouros or Antaeus… When will something interesting return to designer fragrances?
Marce23
I was really surprised. A different and balanced fragrance.

What a shame to see Rochas sinking. This is a hard blow: it smells like a supermarket fragrance, cheap, and like a clearance item. I don’t care if it’s their style, but Rochas is doing it. An institution with legends like Femme or Madame, and now L’Homme is a second-rate Frankenstein of cheap fashion. They mix the scratchy blue of Sauvage with that peppery aftertaste and heavy citrus, evoking 90s perfume evolutions like Xeryus or Diavolo that are back in style today. It doesn’t deserve criticism. PS: Disheartening to see titans like Rochas and Lanvin fall.
Espartaco
What a shame to witness the decline of a house like Rochas. This is heartbreaking; it’s not an off-the-shelf perfume trying not to be, it smells like a supermarket fragrance, cheap, and low quality. I don’t care if a catalog house uses that strategy, but Rochas does things like this. Rochas, no more no less, an institution with icons like Femme, Madame, or Eau de Rochas… L’Homme Rochas, like the recent female launches, was born knowing it would be a second-rate copy, a monstrosity, a Frankenstein pieced together from the latest trends. Just like the horrendous current female scents that mash up whatever’s trendy, here they took the rough blue tone of Sauvage and mixed it with that coarse spicy pepper and citrus finish, with a body like D&G K or similar launches that are evolutions of 1995 classics like Xeryus Rouge or Diavolo, fragrances that are trendy again today. It’s not even worth criticizing. PS: How disheartening to see titans like Rochas, Lanvin, and so many others fall.

Rochas made this to please. Fresh all the time, ideal post-shower. Young but with a classic touch that makes it wearable for traditional styles. It’s not groundbreaking, but it has something distinctive: that spicy aroma (not sweet). It starts fresh and strong, then moves to a masculine scent with cardamom and tonka. To me, it reminds me of a gin-tonic with spices. Good performance, low trail. Fair price for the house, which is honest. For young people with a classic style at work or with friends. Not seductive or for night. I don’t like the bottle; it looks crude and cold.
drakecito
It barely smells and has almost no projection. It’s a blend of blurry, faint notes that aren’t refreshing at all but lean warm. I can’t clearly detect the orange or pineapple; that warmth comes from cardamom and tonka. In short, it’s a semi-fruit scent that gets slightly sweetened and that’s it. It didn’t remind me of Aventus at all, though in style it’s a bit close to Bleu de Chanel Parfum. Poor performance, average longevity, and very weak sillage. It felt weak, uninteresting, low quality, with terrible performance.
drakecito
Another thing that barely smells and projects the minimum. A mix of indefinite and faint notes that, besides, don’t refresh but lean warm. I don’t smell the orange or pineapple clearly; that warmth comes from the cardamom and tonka. It’s something semi-fruity, slightly sweet, and then it fades. It didn’t remind me of Aventus, but a bit of Bleu de Chanel Parfum in style. Bad performance, typical longevity, and very poor trail. It felt weak, uninteresting, low quality, and with terrible performance.
juancar677
Not bad as a 2020 launch. A youthful fragrance with 8 hours of longevity and extreme versatility. It aligns with others like Bleu de Chanel, but at 36 euros, always with Rochas quality. Not bad (for ages 20-30).
Juangse
It’s a shame Rochas falls into this generic world of blues and ambroxan after releasing the Monsieur line and having classics like Man or Eau de Rochas. Instantly reminds me of Versace Dylan Blue, but as if it were out of tune, more blurred and indistinct. It doesn’t add anything to me.
