Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
I’ve been very positively surprised. On my skin, the opening is a very pronounced cherry 🍒 that, although for some people it may seem somewhat artificial, reminds me more of a candy cherry than the natural fruit. Far from seeming like a flaw, that sweet character maintains a sparkling and fun touch that makes the perfume very pleasant. What caught my attention the most is its performance. Normally Zara perfumes don’t last too long on my skin, but when I tried Dangerous Cherry in the middle of summer, the longevity was much better than I expected. I’ll have to try it again in winter to see if it maintains that behavior. I think it’s a simple but pleasant proposal, especially if you’re looking for a cheerful and carefree cherry rather than a dark or liqueur-like cherry. 🍒 UPDATE after purchase: On my skin, this perfume has a very acidic and sparkling cherry opening that reminds me of a mix between Electric Cherry and Black Opium Over Red. The cherry is not natural, but rather candy-like. What I like most is its evolution. Unlike Love Spark, where the cherry remains very acidic throughout the drydown, here little by little sweeter notes appear that balance the whole without turning it into a heavy gourmand. I really liked how it works on my skin and I think it’s a very recommendable option if you’re looking for a bright cherry with a well-balanced sweet touch.
This fragrance shines in the top notes. The cherry is delicious but its intensity lasts little, about 15 minutes. Very quickly you notice the sweetness of praline and peony while the cherry is relegated to skin level if at all. You have to reapply every hour if you want to notice the cherry. The longevity is about 3 hours (the other notes, since the cherry doesn’t even last an hour). This perfume is sweet and doesn’t resemble Lost Cherry at all since it has no almond note and in LC the cherry is noticeable even at skin level for about 3 hours. Anyway, for the price you can’t ask for more. I layer this fragrance with Midnight Cherry from House of Theom (19 euros) and then I do get the cherry note to predominate. I gladly apply both fragrances and the combination does project, which is how I like it. This fragrance doesn’t remind me of La Bomba because that one has a salty-tropical touch and Dangerous Cherry is full gourmand.
