I’ve never tried a saffron perfume where the saffron doesn’t completely overpower the other notes, and here it’s the same: the cherry is ambitious but fails to take the lead. I really miss the pre-Baccarat Rouge era.
A niche cherry scent that makes anyone jealous, and at a great price. It starts fruity and syrupy sweet, reminiscent of Lost Cherry, but the marshmallow lifts it so it’s not too cloying. The magic happens in the dry down: spices and wood add a toasted touch, creating a dance between cherry and saffron. Delicious. It’s not dark or masculine, but a perfect unisex for mild or cold weather, not just for night outs. Lasts about 8 hours with moderate projection. I’m definitely adding this to my collection; it surprised me. Value for money 10/10.
