I had imagined that palo santo would be very noticeable; however, what stands out the most are the passion fruit and monoi. But I really hope that maybe in the drydown it evolves differently. I added it to my collection because, even though I wanted it for the palo santo, I liked the passion fruit, which feels tropical-fruity but sweet. When I use it, I’ll come back to say whether the palo santo can be perceived better.
If you already have a perfume with a passion fruit note or with tropical fruits, it doesn’t bring anything new. I have “Coconut Tropic Tides,” also by Zara, and the opening is the same. After a while, you can perceive the palo santo note, which adds something different, although the smell of berries with monoi predominates. Comparing it to “Power of you” seems like an insult to me…
