I went treasure hunting and stumbled upon this work of art: B. Balenciaga Intense. One of the best blind buys I’ve ever made! Seeing the name, I thought it would be heavy, but I was way off… it’s a wonder! It opens with exquisite green tea, blueberries, and soy; then, at 15 minutes, it transitions into the scent of night-blooming cereus. The dry down in cedar and mahogany is a delicacy. It leaves a trail of fruity wood, a fabulous blend. I wear it in any season or time of day: from casual lunches where its freshness shines to formal dinners or parties where it’s the center of sophistication. The sillage is excellent; I sprayed it at 10 am and it was still there at 7 pm. It’s one of the most captivating fragrances I’ve ever smelled and is staying in my collection. I bought it today and already plan to grab more bottles.
