I love it. I smelled it at Palacio de Hierro years ago and what a youthful, electric sillage. It’s unique, floral, slightly fruity, and very feminine; it lasts hours and smells freshly applied. I usually don’t like Bond No. 9 because they’re too creamy, but this one is beautiful. I have a sample and hope to buy it; the bottle is gorgeous too.
It works if you mix it with another similar but more potent fragrance, but otherwise, paying $400 is just for the bottle. It doesn’t last more than 3 hours, smells only of fresh grass, doesn’t evolve, and you’ll need to reapply in 3 hours or be without perfume.
Maison Square Park is a green floral with hyacinth and fruity notes. At this price, there are very similar options; besides, the herbal hyacinth accord usually evolves the same way in all blends, so there’s nothing unique to offer.
If the price is high, it’s worth trying Maison Alhambra’s Sceptre Malachite—it smells and lasts almost exactly the same.
Green, fresh, and energetic; it’s feminine and carefree. It hits hard at first but fades quickly; after 20 minutes, it’s just a skin scent. It’s not trying to grab attention or be noticed before you walk in, but rather to stay close to you. I’ve heard it has nothing to do with Maison Alhambra’s Sceptre Malachite, so stop looking for clones.
