One of my most complimented perfumes and one I truly love… Since it’s limited edition, when I bought it and loved it so much, I went out a week later to get a backup bottle… I finished one and opened the second… and that’s when I knew I had to grab a third one before it disappears from the market, so glad I did! One of the most complimented by men (not by women, honestly), the most complimented by women in my case is LVEB, which I’ve smelled everywhere, so I’ve stopped using it… As of today (2024), I know it’s almost impossible to smell the same as someone else with Satine since it was a limited edition… The only positive I find about it being limited is hahaha because it’s so good it should be a permanent line!
This is one of my favorite perfumes, without a doubt it maintains the DNA of the classic Armani Code, but it’s much sexier. At first, you can quite notice the ginger and sorbet, but after a few minutes (and until the end) on my skin, the notes of cocoa and orange blossom stand out, with a longevity of up to 10 hours and good projection for the first 4; afterwards it’s moderate, but it definitely makes an impression. For me, it has the best chocolate note I’ve ever felt and I have several fragrances with this note, but this is my favorite, I think it maintains an excellent balance, as it’s not the typical sweet chocolate nor is it bitter, it’s perfectly combined with the rest of the notes. I recommend it for those who like sexy fragrances and receive compliments from both men and women, because it has a unisex touch, in fact it resembles the Armani Code Profumo version in the dry down, but this one is more delicate and feminine. I love it, I would definitely repurchase.
I particularly don’t like the original Armani Code at all… I happened to be passing by a perfumery and they made me try this perfume, I fell in love with it that was little… and every day I fall in love with it more… very particular, it conserves well the DNA of the Code but gourmand without being cloying, elegant and versatile, I’ve received many compliments with this perfume and they’ve asked me what I’m wearing, I recommend it wholeheartedly because it’s distinguished and it’s not such a typical scent. Excellent longevity, moderate to high sillage… it’s worth the price!
I LOVED HOW IT SAT ON MY SKIN EVEN THOUGH I DIDN’T EVEN TEST IT. IT’S AN IDEAL FRAGRANCE FOR COLD DAYS. AT FIRST IT HAS NOTES SIMILAR TO THE CLASSIC ARMANI CODE, AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE PRALINE AND VANILLA START TO STAND OUT……DELICIOUS AND ELEGANT AT THE SAME TIME. I’VE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS WHEN I WEAR THIS FRAGRANCE!
When I saw it in the store I rushed to try it, but it didn’t meet my expectations. The praline and cocoa are very noticeable, honestly not very pleasant, too heavy. It could work for a very, very cold winter night, anyway I can’t stand it, it smells like insecticide.
