Angel's Share On The Rocks by Kilian is an oriental woody fragrance from the olfactory family, designed for men and for women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, was created by Benoist Lapouza. Its scent structure opens with top notes of grapefruit, Italian lemon, bergamot, mandarin, ice, bitter orange, and aldehydes. The heart reveals a warm blend of cognac, cinnamon, and caramel, while the base settles with tonka bean, oak, sandalwood, cashmere wood, and myrrh.

A very different citrus, alcoholic yet with a fresh and bitter grapefruit that makes it special and unique. It stands apart from its two siblings, making it suitable for hot climates and the most versatile of the three. Maybe it’s the one I like the least, but I still find it interesting. My favorite from the collection remains the Paradise version.

Tested in-store. The first impact was brutal: a realistic, pleasant grapefruit that lasts only a few minutes before giving way to the classic dry-down of the original Angel’s Share. It might be redundant to own both if you don’t like those fresh, sweet, aldehydic, and slightly bitter citrus top notes. Although the dry-down makes it seem more versatile, it retains that sweet tonka bean aspect, bordering on gourmand. In my opinion, it’s still an autumn-winter scent, perhaps not for as special occasions as the original, but great for dates or treating yourself. I prefer the original, but I recognize this flanker is an original proposal from Kilian. Again, a masterpiece. Scent 10/10, Projection 10/10, Longevity: 7/10 (the top note is very fleeting).

Interesting. Smells expensive and fresh, quite different. It keeps the DNA of Angel’s Share but softer, with a potent citrus opening. It’s more wearable for daily life than its older sibling. My wife loved it.
