  I received this via a giveaway. I must say, as I use it and air gets into the bottle, improving through oxidation, its performance increases noticeably; at first, I couldn’t believe it disappeared in an hour. It opens with a cognac-like alcoholic accord, very prominent and not for everyone; it’s not a sweet cognac, but rather sober, elegant, masculine, and potent, which sets its path. Once that initial cognac blast dries down, the iris stands out with a touch of cashmere; it smells powdery, like old makeup, very serious. I don’t understand why it’s called Sweet Heaven Ice if it has nothing sweet or fresh about it. It’s a very masculine, adult, powdery, and spicy fragrance. I use it for work in winter because the longevity still seems short for other occasions (plus it’s not my style; I prefer sweet scents). In summary: scent 5.5/10, longevity 4/10, projection 6.5/10, sillage 6/10. A gift horse is not looked at in the teeth, but to be honest, I wouldn’t have bought it after smelling it.

  Interesting fragrance. Starts sweet and spicy with cinnamon, then shifts to something powdery, likely due to the iris, with a subtle marine touch. Very good quality overall.

  Since I’ve already tested its performance and scent, here’s my take: I was blown away. At first, it didn’t convince me; it always smells great right out of the bottle, but its longevity and projection were almost nonexistent. After letting it sit for two months and using it sparingly, I can now confirm it has evolved into something with incredible staying power, an irresistible scent, and a projection that turns heads. The compliments have been amazing. It’s a balanced, attractive fragrance that makes you want to keep smelling yourself. I recommend it: it’s cheap and won’t disappoint.
