I smell it as the Aventus archetype, sorry to the guy above, it’s the Supremacy NOI archetype.
I tried searching for similarities and call me crazy, but I feel a strong resemblance to One Million Privée. (PS: I haven’t tried Arabian Tonka).
I don’t know if we’re crazy or they’re messing up with another fragrance instead of this one… but I read something wild. Regarding the perfume: it’s an inspiration, not a direct clone. Lasts over 16 hours on skin and is noticeable on clothes the next day. It’s exquisite, begs for compliments, ideal for cold autumn and winter night parties. Casual, relaxed, nothing formal. Ages 25+. Nuclear projection, reaching 50 km around.
It has the dry-down of Arabian Tonka.
It’s rich but doesn’t quite wrap around me; seems more masculine and doesn’t resemble Montale’s Arabian.
Some say it smells like Aventus, show off. I’ve had the pleasure of smelling Layton, and this gives it a similar vibe. It’s alcoholic, more woody, rich. Rating 9-10.
It’s like an Arabian Tonka but less potent and less sweet. If you’ve tried both, it will remind you of the original. In my country, it’s half the price of the original; I’d prefer to save more and buy the Montale, but it still does a pretty good job.
It’s a floral-woody blend that sums up to ‘smells like the most elegant lady in an Arab store’. I feel I’m not the target audience, though performance is excellent and lasts many hours. The price isn’t as cheap as other Arab scents, but I think it’s fair. I haven’t tried Montale’s Arabian Tonka and confess it doesn’t motivate me either.
For old-school folks like me: This fragrance is the perfect replacement for CH Insignia Men 2018. I don’t understand how no one has found a parallel yet.
I agree with the guy above; it also reminds me of Supremacy Not Only Intense.
Arrived hours ago, will update later on longevity. Today, scent is all that matters since most don’t last more than 6 hours. I was looking for something to replace my favorite, Arabian Tonka by Montale, but couldn’t find a direct clone. This smells softer and more pleasant, removing the animalic and heavy notes of the original. Upon application, I noticed similarities with Amber Oud Gold Edition; they share DNA but are distinct. At first, I thought if it were designer, it would be something like Jean Paul Gaultier or Paco Rabanne; with that hype, it would be on another level. Starts fruity and sweet. A safe blind buy; I’m satisfied after other disappointments. Since putting it on my arm, it hasn’t lost intensity. Highly recommended.
This smells like cocoa, like cocoa powder, so clearly and richly. Chocolate isn’t listed in the notes. But the accord of musk, amber, elemi, moss, and rose creates a strong chocolate terrazzo, dusted, very strong scent. I hate dusty perfumes; THIS ONE WON ME OVER; it’s the only dusty one I’ve liked. Despite its notes, I find it versatile and very easy to wear for myself and others.
Amazing perfume. Far and away the best today if you want to stand out from the generic Arabic scent everyone wears everywhere. It also requires a bit of maceration for the amber to become more discreet. This perfume is made for fun: call for a casino, a bowling alley, chaos, lots of women, and a lot of swagger. If you’re dressed poorly or don’t have a night out, this won’t go anywhere for you. It has nothing to do with its siblings; it’s unique. The opening is a shotgun blast of saffron that scatters pellets everywhere. I agree with someone below that it has a cocoa opening. It makes sense given the spices and tonka bean mixed in. Saffron, besides being more expensive than gold, is the most expensive spice in the world, and everyone loves it. I sense a little bit of sandalwood/incense, but very little; it could be the oud. The transition to the dry down doesn’t end; the saffron stays and mixes with woods, then gives way to that tonka bean vanilla. It doesn’t reach typical vanilla territory; it completely breaks the mold, having a particular sweetness, like a slightly macerated vanilla. At the very end, the amber and musk appear. It sticks everywhere, clothes and skin; you leave an incredible scent wherever you go. It’s for making everyone smell you and know it’s you. For me, it goes with a more laid-back Chilean outfit than a basic oversized look. Jordans, a gold chain, and that’s about it.
This is some of the best stuff I keep in my collection. It’s one of the few Arab perfumes where you feel a real evolution of the fragrance. I won’t go on; I just invite you to try it; you’ll be pleasantly surprised. And if you have doubts about performance and projection, this perfume is a blast: it projects for over 3 hours and lasts a solid 10-11 hours.
Great perfume, roses and vanilla. As it dries down, it resembles Arabian Tonka. Longevity on skin is over 12 hours, incredible.
7 words: ESSENCE.
Just arrived, and without waiting for it to settle, here are my first impressions: It smells very elegant; I notice a lot of rose and tonka bean, but the vibe is very ‘Club de Nuit Intense,’ only instead of pineapple, rose reigns here. Coincidentally, I wore Club de Nuit today, and it reminded me of it a lot. The rose is beautifully crafted; in fact, it’s very similar to the Turathi Brown I had (and gifted to my dad because I didn’t like the rose in that one). In this one, yes! For longevity, I think it will last forever—I sprayed it almost two hours ago and it hasn’t lost anything, and with just one drop, you can tell it’s potent. A good option if you’re dressed to the nines… I don’t see it as casual. It’s clearly nocturnal, for autumn, winter, or a cold spring night. Age ranking: above 30. The packaging is excellent, the presentation is impeccable, and the bottle is very pretty in the Amber Oud line. I’ll post the longevity and sillage in the coming days.
What a beautiful scent; it transports me to many things at once, places or flavors I’ve felt or tasted before but can’t quite place. I thought it would be extremely chocolatey and dark, but it’s not; there’s just a slight tone as it dries down. The opening has a freshness or cool tone that I don’t find critical, but rather like a Jolly Rancher of grape, rose, and spices, with chocolate elegantly placed in the background. It’s a perfume extract, and when I atomized it on my hand, it stayed nicely oily. It doesn’t seem strong to me, unless it causes olfactory fatigue; I don’t feel it’s explosive. It had moderate hype, ending up as a somewhat hidden gem, which I like. The box is gorgeous in indigo and violet, with the typical Al Haramain bottle but with the prettiest color in the line. I found it very exquisite and will use it well atomized. It’s unique in my collection and didn’t disappoint me at all. 9.5/10.
It’s a super interesting scent, hard to define. It’s not for everyone; opinions are split: some give it a 10, others a 6. Don’t buy it blindly, test it first. At first, it smells like an aromatic herb, almost like cilantro—my dad laughed and said it smelled like armpits, but others loved the opening. As it dries down, it becomes much richer, with lots of rose and oud, while keeping that herbal touch (lily or moss). Over time, it intensifies, becoming more masculine and elegant; everyone found it delicious, including me. It’s hard to wear but exquisite and very manly. Ideal for night events, it smells like luxury and mystery. Lasts forever, great projection, and ends with a beautiful, rich musk. EDIT: Time has passed, I’ve worn it to several formal parties, and it’s a gem, one of my favorites. Definitely 10/10.
A class fragrance. It has that perfect formal character for going out at night. The rose note makes it unique and helps you stand out. It captivates from the very first moment. The longevity is brutal, lasting over 10 hours on the skin, and the projection is beastly for 4-5 hours. Nothing strange coming from Al Haramain, a house known for its potency.
I’ve been testing this fragrance for a month. At first, it didn’t convince me much in the store, but wearing it was a huge success. It’s not for blind buys; it has a particular aroma and a very marked rose at the start that not everyone likes. Then, in the projection, it surprised me: the rose yields, and a sweeter, softer scent enters that lingers on clothes for a very long time (+10h) and feels more versatile and rich. It projects well, with a romantic DNA. In the store, they said it could be worn during the day, and now I agree to a certain extent. For night outs, it’s not versatile because it’s powerful and not a daily scent, but yes for everyday wear with few sprays, focusing on the dry-down. For me, it’s for someone 23+, with semi-formal or formal attire. It demands class and diplomacy; it doesn’t fit with informal people. It’s for someone calm and elegant. I give it 9/10.
What should masculinity smell like? This fragrance embodies the total bad boy archetype. Forget about performance.
A deep, incredibly refined, and yet dirty fragrance, a unique aroma. You can perceive the roses, deep oud, touches of saffron, and tonka bean. These four protagonists take turns projecting; it’s a good combination, sweet and nocturnal. It can be worn during the day, but it’s much more nocturnal and sensual, a fragrance that invites you to get closer because you want to keep smelling it. I haven’t tried Arabians Tonka, but I do recommend it for dates, informal events, or night outs.
Tested with two sprays on skin. MASTERPIECE, and I’m still underselling it. It’s the perfect balance of fresh, sweet, and characterful, masculine. It reminds me of something from my childhood that I can’t identify. Ideal for cold weather. Next purchase.
I’d define it as a rose water, but clearly masculine. It’s sweet without being cloying, with some of Erba Pura’s DNA but more serious and focused. It conveys elegance and cleanliness. Its evolution is interesting: at first, there’s a citrusy, metallic tone with the roses that lasts a good portion of the time. After eight hours, it settles on the skin as a warm scent, like freshly ironed clothes, reinforcing that cleanliness. Highly recommended for its price.
Not bad, but not the absolute masterpiece they claim. It’s in the same vein as Paco Rabanne’s Ultraviolet and Moschino’s Toy Boy. There are better ones from the brand, but this isn’t bad. It’s extremely pleasant for the night, projects strongly, and girls like it. It’s close to the style of Dior Homme Intense but more informal and youthful. It’s like the Amber Oud version of Phantom: youthful, simple, sweet, and easy to wear.
If you collect perfumes in an endless search for that scent that fills you and one isn’t enough, my friend, it’s because you haven’t found this gem yet. I’m sorry to say you’ve taken too long to buy the Dubai Night. I urge you to do yourself a favor and buy it now; your senses will thank you with inexplicable compliments. Just buy it, I promise.
A spectacular perfume for summer nights and special occasions, 10/10.
Right from the moment you open the box with its hinge and suede lining, you know you’re getting luxury. The bottle and atomizer give off a vibe of much higher price, but ultimately, what matters? It’s the juice that counts. It smells of fresh roses, like when they’re just starting to dry, with a sweetness that hugs the nose and is absolutely delicious. It’s unisex but leans masculine. With a designer name and a unique bottle, this would easily sell for three figures. It doesn’t smell like a $50 Arabic clone; it’s a marvel.
I don’t understand the comparisons to @valentinophantom. Toy Boy? Dior Homme Intense? Where? If you don’t know these fragrances, trust your nose less; they have nothing to do with Dubai Night. They only share the rose note, but the behavior is completely different; in Toy Boy, the rose is overpowering. I hate Toy Boy and love Dubai Night; there’s no resemblance. With the Dior one, I got lost; they have nothing in common. They only share a nocturnal and elegant air, but olfactorily they go separate ways. It’s beautiful, not youthful, but elegant and mature. The oud is gentle yet powerful, adding masculinity and making it unisex. Perfect for mild nights. Scent: 10/10, Performance: 10/10 (12h on skin), Versatility: 6/10 (it’s special), Compliments: 10/10 (women love it). Not for blind buys.
Exquisite aroma, vanilla-woody, and you can smell the rose; it’s potent. Its name suggests it’s for night, but based on my experience, it can be worn in the morning; it’s fresh, but two sprays are enough. Many people have complimented it. Smells very niche. Honestly, when I bought it, I thought I’d regret it, but over the days I fell in love with this perfume. 9/10, and if you want something out of the ordinary, I recommend it.
I recommend it. As its name says, it’s for night; I see it as ideal for special occasions, dates, parties, evening events. Although for the day, it can serve for occasional moments where you need to dress up or generally in winter. I don’t recommend using it in heat; it doesn’t last at all with high temperatures and the scent fades a lot, feeling flat above 25-30 degrees. Under ideal conditions, it lasts a ton and projects quite well; with 3-5 sprays it’s excellent, lasting over 8 hours projecting well and sticking to clothes for days, even after washing. That’s why you have to be careful not to overapply. The scent is elegant, mature, sweet, and captivating. It doesn’t feel like an Arabian fragrance. Although not everyone can pull it off, I see it for those over 20 and well-dressed. Not a blind buy, but as a night perfume, it’s excellent.
Very rich fragrance. Although it has oud and talc notes, I see it as a very wearable and versatile aroma, suitable for any weather and occasion. It has explosive performance yet feels fresh. 100% recommended.
I really liked it. It feels intense at first, but then opens up to a more pleasant scent that I genuinely enjoy. I recommend it for autumn, winter, spring, or those fresh days.
Totally strange perfume. When I first atomized it, I didn’t like it at all; as time passes, it gets better, becoming sweeter and sweeter. It starts with full-on oud, then moves into the roses. I never smelled the bergamot… Now the gem is in the dry down, what an exquisite aroma, a sweet rose mixed with oud, musky with amber, you can’t stop smelling it. Longevity: I’m testing it and so far it’s been 9 hours and the perfume is still at full power, dropping very little in potency. Sillage: strong; at times I get bursts, the first 2-3 hours I’d say it’s super heavy, decreasing very slowly. Scent 10/10, and as many say, it’s an aroma almost no one else will have, very original. Edit: after a month of oxygenation, I finally smell the bergamot; now the perfume is even more exquisite, it became sweeter and more potent, what a crazy perfume, I’m totally in love, my favorite so far.
I have Arabian Tonka, and this isn’t that similar to it. I see it more akin to Cedrat Boise Intense. That doesn’t change the fact that it’s rich, long-lasting, and has incredible projection. So many people ask me what I’m wearing and say it smells delicious and they can smell it from a distance.
I like it so much that, even though I use it very little because where I live it’s very hot, it’s one of the few where I’m content to just catch a whiff from the bottle cap or apply it sparingly.
I’m here to update the review. I was initially disappointed. Before, I said it smelled like a very strong, dusty, earthy cocoa with lots of punch. But now that it’s macerated, it smells like everyone else says: some rose, some oud, and tonka, all very pleasant and fresh. Good thing I didn’t buy it right away. I don’t know where that powerful, chocolatey liquid from the first few times went. Now, after months, it smells more… ‘common,’ let’s say, because honestly, it smells good. Have any of you noticed perfumes changing drastically over months? I clarify that I keep them fresh, isolated from light and heat.
I bought it blind and the evolution is incredible. From start to finish, you feel how the notes blend. The opening is a sweet and citrusy mix I’ve never heard before, with an extra touch that makes it very pleasant. At 30 minutes, it becomes sweeter and more mysterious as it blends with a subtle, well-integrated oud. The dry down leaves a seductive, sweet, and addictive trail. It doesn’t resemble anything in my collection; it’s exquisite. I paid $55 and it’s totally worth it. Projects well and easily lasts 8 hours without issues. Recommended.
This perfume is a beast. The undisputed queen of the Amber Oud line. Agreeing with others: the opening is a strong hit that can be dizzying, so let it macerate. But the dry down is another world, folks. A sweet rose, less floral, with a powerful oud that doesn’t steal the show. Perfect balance. Potent, aromatic, pure enjoyment. The longevity is nuclear; I’ve gotten over 14 hours with a persistent trail that isn’t invasive. Blind buy? Yes and no. Yes, because it’s a best-seller that wins and grabs attention. No, because the oud and rose are risky notes and not for everyone. But I insist, Dubai Night is a masterpiece, highly recommended.
