  • I’ve always skipped Elizabeth Arden perfumes, but this one won me over. I usually don’t write reviews because I’m not good at describing scents, but I can say this eau de toilette is utterly intoxicating. Seeing praline in the notes made me hesitate at first; I hate the gourmand trend—some turn me off—but no, the praline adds a deep touch that makes it last. The longevity and projection are surprising. I wear it in the morning before work and it’s still noticeable by afternoon. It reminds me slightly of Armani’s Si, though this is less sweet. I think it’s better for cold seasons, quite intense, and I can’t imagine wearing it at 40 degrees in summer. All in all, I loved it, bought the 30 ml, and I’ll definitely repurchase.

  • I’ve always walked past Elizabeth Arden perfumes without a second glance, but this one has completely won me over. I rarely write reviews because I’m not great at describing scents, but I can say this eau de toilette is incredibly intoxicating. When I saw praliné listed in the notes, I initially hesitated; I hate the gourmand trend and it turns some people off, but here, the praliné adds a deep dimension that makes it last. The longevity and projection are surprisingly impressive. I wear it in the morning before work and it’s still noticeable by evening. It reminds me slightly of Armani’s Si, though this is less sweet. I think it’s better suited for colder seasons; it’s quite intense and I can’t imagine wearing it on a 40-degree summer day. All in all, I loved it, bought the 30ml version, and I plan to repurchase.

  • It’s a cheaper option than Armani’s Si. Being budget-friendly doesn’t mean it’s bad; what surprises me is how similar it ends up being.

  • It’s a more affordable alternative to Armani’s Si. Being budget-friendly doesn’t mean it’s bad; what really surprised me is how similar it turns out to be.

  • I was curious, so I tried it at a perfumery. It opens sweet, and once it settles, it’s VERY similar to Armani Si—I was so surprised. Elegant and potent aroma without being aggressive. More ‘youthful’ than other scents from the brand. Ideal for autumn/winter. I sprayed it 10 hours ago and I can still smell it…

  • You only notice the similarity to Giorgio Armani Si once it dries down. The Always Red isn’t as boozy (thankfully), has less patchouli, is sweeter, with the same sillage and longevity.

  • A pleasant surprise; it wasn’t what I expected from a Red Door. The opening is a juicy orange syrup with exotic red fruits, very effervescent at first, then giving way to floral jasmine notes that, without being the stars, add sweetness. The base is a woody amber, creamy and honeyed, paired with a soft praline that gives it a gourmand vibe. It’s not a Red Door version even though the bottle looks the same; it’s a fresh, modern fragrance with that mix of red fruits, praline, and wood. Perfect for autumn and winter, nothing cloying or heavy. It leaves a powdery, softly woody trail on the skin. Medium intensity with about 6 hours of longevity. The fact that you can smell the amber doesn’t make it oriental; to me, it’s a fruity gourmand. Very much in the Britney Spears line—young and great for daily wear. It doesn’t feel cheap and has Arden’s classic elegance. Elizabeth Arden is a great brand with classic, wearable fragrances for all tastes, and now they’re taking a modern risk that turns out amazing. The bottle looks great and the price is a steal.

  • A pleasant surprise; not what I expected from a Red Door. It opens like a juicy syrup of orange and red fruits (plum and passionfruit), very effervescent, then transitions into jasmine that adds sweetness. The base is woody, buttery amber with a gourmand praline touch. It’s not a Red Door version; it’s new and modern: red fruits, praline, and wood. Perfect for autumn/winter, nothing cloying. Leaves a powdery, woody trail. Medium intensity, 6 hours of longevity. The amber doesn’t make it oriental; it’s a fruity gourmand, very much in the Britney Spears line—youthful and for daily wear. It doesn’t feel cheap; it has Arden’s classic elegance. Elizabeth Arden remains a wearable brand with modern touches. The bottle is great and the price is a joke.

  • I got it as a gift because it was ‘similar’ to DG Intense. At first, I loved it—super intense with a strong projection—but later it becomes tiring. After a few hours, it smells weird, like something for an older person. It has a lot of attitude and requires knowing how to wear it.

  • Sharp opening that dries down in half an hour to a rich, sweet scent with passionfruit and plum. Lasts hours on skin and days on clothes. The price-to-quality ratio is good, but I wouldn’t repurchase because of that harsh opening. I liked it, but I didn’t fall in love. Only for very cold days. A solid Elizabeth Arden perfume.

  • Deep and cozy, like a warm hug on a freezing day. I detect praline, plum, and a very similar opening to Armani Si. It’s not the same, but it follows the same line. Elegant, sophisticated, and insanely affordable. Beautiful bottle—what more could you ask for? Absolutely stunning!

  • What a deep and cozy fragrance. It’s like being given a warm hug on a cold day. I detect the praliné, plum, and a similarity in the opening to Armani’s Si. It’s not the same, but it’s from the same family. I really liked it. Elegant and sophisticated. And the good price is excellent. Beautiful bottle. What more can I say? Simply outstanding.

  • So rich and addictive. Cozy yet beast mode in winter, with a praline liquor twist. I was initially scared because it was very strong, but then I got hooked and can’t stop smelling myself.

  • Very similar to Si. Great price for good quality. On my skin, I detect quite a bit of rose and amber. I feel that all the notes are well-balanced. While most people wear it in autumn and winter, I think it would be perfect for a spring day or an evening in summer. While some scents crave the cold and others the heat, I wear what I feel like wearing at the moment, and so far I haven’t had any issues with this fragrance during these hot days in Chile. I see it as versatile for both casual outings and more serious occasions, wearing it both day and night. It was a blind buy and honestly, I’m thrilled; for that price, quantity, and quality, it’s a win/win.

  • Very similar to Si, but at a ridiculous price point with top-notch quality. On my skin, the rose and amber come through loud and clear. The notes are well-balanced; while most people wear it in cold weather, it works great for me in spring or summer evenings in Chile. I wear it day and night, whether for chill outings or more serious events. Buying blind was a win: the price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable.

  • Brutal longevity, easily lasts over 12 hours, and it’s an exquisite toilet water. I recommend it 100%.

  • Hi. A perfume I bought blindly and a total hit. Excellent longevity and trail; it’s very similar to Si, but I feel this one has a sweeter touch and it’s cheap. It cost me $28, 690 Mexican pesos. DELICIOUS! ❤️

  • What an exquisiiiite perfume! I feel a mix of cedarwood and passion fruit, like a subtle incense. I put it on at 7:00 AM and it’s 6:00 PM now and I can still smell it. Elizabeth Arden perfumes surprise me more and more every day. I haven’t tried Si; if it’s better, I’m in for a treat! Wow! I’m floored! But for the price, it’s worth it; the trail and longevity are very good. Happy I bought it blindly!!!!!!

What a delicious aroma! At first, the opening is quite strong, but after a few minutes it blends with the skin, giving way to an elegant, sexy, sweet, and enveloping fragrance. The praline mix makes it magically addictive. Ideally for night and cold seasons. It’s a perfume of excellent quality at an irrisible price!! Highly recommended!!

  • A perfume I recently acquired and it has surprised me. Excellent longevity and good trail. The plum, rose, and praline scent is quite noticeable. I find it elegant and subtle. I think it’s more suitable for night and autumn-winter, but I wear it during the day too.

  • I love this perfume; it surprised me a lot. It has a good trail and longevity, and it reminds me a lot of Armani’s Si and Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. For its price, it’s a gem 😍

Simply a wonderful aroma, sensual, very sweet gourmand type. I wear it on cooler days; I recommend it immensely; it’s totally addictive.

I was eager to try something from Elizabeth Arden, an old house, but couldn’t find anything that caught my eye until I found this and liked the notes. I bought it blindly. The opening is very strong, a bomb of grapefruit and passion fruit. It makes me feel uncomfortable, which is rare for me. But after 5 to 10 minutes, those strong notes fade to give way to more pleasant floral notes, and finally a dry-down where praline and amber dominate, though I still feel that irritating bite in the background that I don’t like. I think it’s not for me. It has excellent longevity for an Eau de Toilette; the initial trail is brutal, then it becomes moderate. I don’t know Si by Armani, so I can’t compare it.

  • Giorgio Armani’s ‘Si’ was my signature for years, and nowadays I use it occasionally. I read that this ‘Always Red’ was a clone of Si, so I bought it blindly; if it was true, I’d definitely like it, haha. Indeed, it is a clone. The longevity isn’t the same as Armani’s, but it ‘saves the day’ if you like that scent. Great quality-to-price ratio.

  • The most ‘Christmas-y’ scent in my collection. It’s beast mode! 😂 You have to leave the chair empty because the perfume sits on its own; you don’t wear it to him, he drags you. When I want my scent to dominate, this is the boss. It has RED at full throttle: red amber, red fruits like grapefruit, cedar, and praline giving it a sweet, chocolatey, and indulgent touch. Plus that elegant note this house always manages: even if it’s no longer trendy, it knows how to perform after nearly 100 years making perfumes ♥️🍒🎄
