Well, let’s see… this review is short. Basically, it smells just like my memory of Si. I don’t have the original right now to compare side-by-side, but it sounds the same, maybe a bit more intense with better projection. It has moderate sillage and lasts 6-7 hours. I like it quite a bit; it’s pleasant, easy, and versatile. But if you already own Si, I don’t see much interest in buying this; maybe to replace it in the future. We need a better comparison, but if you’re looking for something with the original’s DNA that’s more intense with a twist, for me, this doesn’t meet that goal. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 9/10, Value 7/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy again? No, I didn’t.
On my skin, it smells like rose wrapped in lots of benzoin and a touch of patchouli. The davana (an artemisia plant) gives it a creamy sweetness. It’s a perfume for many people, but not for teenagers. Also, I notice that rose is the dominant note in the 2021 perfumes I’ve tried.
Does anyone know what sets this version apart from the Sì Intense in the black bottle? Thanks.
Sì Intense 2021 is exactly what I was looking for from the original: warm, elegant, and without any bitterness, featuring a fruity and amber-floral touch that envelops. Its patchouli balances everything and is fascinating; the key is the benzoin combined with that earthy patchouli. Stellar! Lasts 6-8 hours on skin, with the first three hours having great projection and a wide sillage. It’s a high-level perfume that doesn’t envy any niche. I wear it as a night scent, but it works during the day too. I prefer it in cool or cold climates. The black bottle version seemed too woody and less impressive; this 2021 version is a total hit. Beauty 10/10.
I loved this version. Before I tried the original Si, but ambroxan and I just don’t get along; although I liked its opening, I always noticed that note too much, which I really don’t like. This time what joy: in my case, it doesn’t matter that it’s more intense because it maintains the sweetness from start to finish. I really love it and when I finish it, I’ll definitely reorder it.
Almost all of the ‘Si’ line, once they settle, smell like La Nuit Tresor, just diluted.
Yesterday I was looking for a powerful perfume with good fixation and a sensual scent. I was thinking about Channel Allure Sensuelle based on reviews, but as I passed a shop window, a girl sprayed some on my forearm. On my way home, without paying much attention, it already emitted a sweet and pleasant aroma; it was this creation. I passed by her scent countless times and didn’t like it in the dry-down, but on my skin it was so different I couldn’t believe that after more than 10 hours it was still detectable. Today I tried Channel Allure Sensuelle on skin, and you won’t believe it, it was gone in less than an hour. Imagine my confusion, but far from discouraging me, I bought Si Intense (I also have the classic). I’m very satisfied; it’s been a mild day and I’m enjoying it. The trail and longevity are excellent, nothing synthetic, which surprised me. If you like sweets that aren’t gourmand, it’s a quality option; I see it for any season, perhaps if you’re sensitive use a little in heat or choose something fresher. Trail 8/10, Longevity 9/10, Price: not too expensive. I’ll update this with more experience, maybe later. I already received compliments today. I don’t recommend buying blindly; give it a day to get to know it; it deserves it. I couldn’t stand the dry-down, but the marriage with skin was magical. Cheer up girls, it’s worth it!
Yesterday I went shopping looking for power, longevity, and something sensual. I was thinking of Channel Allure Sensuelle based on reviews, but a girl sprayed me on the forearm while I was looking at a display. Even after more than 10 hours, I could still smell it. Today I tried the Channel Allure Sensuelle, and in less than an hour it was skin scent. Imagine my confusion, but far from discouraging me, I bought the Sì Intense (I also have the classic). I’m very satisfied. It’s been a mild day and I’m enjoying it. Sillage and longevity are excellent, nothing synthetic, really surprised. If you like sweet scents but not gourmands, it’s a quality option. I had been looking for this beautiful fragrance for a while, hoping it would surpass the classic, but I regret that it projects and lasts little on my skin. What a pity, because it’s very rich, sweet, and all its notes are clearly noticeable. The positive is that it lasts a long time on clothes. Edit: turns out I can’t smell it, but others can; they told me the whole room smelled like perfume.
I love them; it smells like a sweet, spectacular liqueur. I recommend it for cold nights.
A yes to the one I say yes to. A journey from the first SI that culminates in this adult, balanced, warm, and resinous version. The previous Intense seemed interesting but woody; in contrast, the new one offers an improved scent that is a must-have. Already from the translucent color, you can intuit it as a unique piece, like a gem, an ambered mineral, and exclusive. It’s a nighttime perfume, important, and with extensive longevity, though over time it becomes very soft until it disappears, around six hours when the spell ends.
Yes, absolutely yes. If Intense 2021 is a fine, elegant fragrance with a lot of character. An exquisite, supremely natural rose opening. It’s a mature rose, not childish, wrapped in a dense, acidic, sharp cassis syrup. It dries down with the finest patchouli (in few perfumes have I felt one so divine). The resin adds a liqueur note. I’m fascinated; it doesn’t seem like a designer scent, it has niche qualities. Extreme longevity, projection for miles. Would I buy it again? Of course.
Ever since I tried the classic SI right after launch, I thought: hmm, not for me, I don’t like things that sweet. But I received a sample with a purchase this year and I truly loved it. It has the DNA of the original but such a refined beauty, such a well-rounded, well-made perfume, what quality—I’m thrilled.
Since I tried the traditional Si, I said it wasn’t for me; I don’t like things so sweet. But I received a sample this year and I really loved it. It has the DNA of the original but with a refined beauty; it’s such a well-rounded and well-made perfume, what quality, I’m delighted.
I tried it at first and the rose note caught me a bit—it’s not my strong suit—but then it settled on my skin and completely won me over. It’s floral but super sweet with an amber base, like a rose with honey 🌹🍯. For me, it’s the perfume for cold days, day or night, with a strong winter vibe. The intensity is brutal for the first three hours, then it drops to moderate. What surprised me most is the longevity: it stays on my skin for a long time; in my case, it reached 10 hours and on clothes it lasts for days. It’s elegant, sexy, and feminine. Note: don’t buy it blindly; it has a particular scent and a lot of strength that won’t appeal to everyone. Edit: it’s already discontinued; the new 2023 version came out. I tried it and liked it, but it’s more avo-cinnamon and less intense than this. What a shame they keep throwing away such great perfumes 🥲
It’s not for me, not even the original. To me, it smells like blackcurrant liqueur with an almost cider-like opening. Then the rose comes out, but that sweet, dense, resinous liqueur note with benzoin just keeps shouting. They’re very similar, though this is the liqueur version versus the spicy one. Both are versatile, feminine, and elegant. The patchouli is soft and well-integrated, something I can’t always handle. The trail is moderate but noticeable; on my skin, it lasts 8 hours. The DNA is very clear: if you don’t like the original, you won’t like this either. I think the blackcurrant note doesn’t work for me and it’s too liqueur-heavy, though most people will love it. What a pity it doesn’t work for me…
I don’t like it, although I also don’t like the EDP original. I smell it like a blackcurrant liqueur, boozy opening (almost like cider), then it develops the rose but that sweet liqueur is always very loud, dense and resinous with the benzoin. I feel them similar to the original, although the other is more spicy and this is its boozy version, though both are versatile, feminine, and elegant. The patchouli is soft and, although I sometimes don’t tolerate it, here it’s very well blended. Moderate sillage but noticeable, lasts 8 hours on my skin. It has the marked DNA; if you don’t like the original, you probably won’t like this. I think the blackcurrant note doesn’t work for me and I also don’t like it being so boozy. That said, I think most people will like it, it’s a shame I don’t…
I love it. It’s dark, strong, sweet, long-lasting with great sillage and projection; it feels refined and elegant. Although I wear it whenever I feel like it, it’s more of a night scent. It lasts well over 12 hours.
I received it yesterday and have been testing it out. At first impression, it’s a very rich, very boozy aroma, a boozy rose in a nutshell. You can feel the patchouli very rich and fine. The rose is present from start to finish, so if you don’t like that note, this perfume isn’t for you. The quality looks very good. Good sillage, good longevity. I’ll keep testing it and see how it behaves, then I’ll update.
As the name says: a Sì more intense. It’s basically that, heavier and deeper. It smells like Si, so I like it a lot. Same as the original but with those characteristics. I would buy it only if I’m a super fan of the original and want a potent one for winter occasions. Although the original goes well in winter, being fresher makes it more versatile. The Intense screams winter. But the scent is almost the same; if you already have the original, it’s not worth it because it’s almost the same fragrance, just more ‘dark’.
As the name says: an SI more intense. Basically, that’s what it is, an SI more intense, heavier, deeper. It smells like the SI, so I love it a lot. Same as the original but with those characteristics. I’d buy it only if I’m a fan of the original and want one that’s really potent for more winter occasions. Although the original can work well for winter, being fresher makes it more versatile. The Intense screams winter. But the scent is almost the same, so if you already have the original, it’s not worth much since it’s nearly the same fragrance, just more “dark”.
I was given a sample that I took without much importance because I don’t like the original SI; however, the scent made me go back to the seller to have it sprayed on my skin. Unlike the original, which felt very fresh to me, this version smells like a more pronounced fruity rose, which I’ve enjoyed. The longevity on my skin has also been good.
It’s exquisite. Every time I wear it, people ask about it. It has excellent overall performance. It’s like concentrated blackcurrant juice. It lasts for weeks on clothes, scarves, handkerchiefs, and similar items. The rose is wrapped in blackcurrant liqueur. Very delicious and extremely sweet. Total winter vibe.
Very delicious, a beautiful and elegant sweetness, definitely for winter and night outs. I don’t know why it reminds me of Dior’s Dune, a bit more youthful despite its intensity. Special for those who like perfumes with great sillage, intense but bearable without causing headaches; not recommended for offices or very enclosed spaces.
It’s a shame they discontinued it; I’m keeping a 50ml bottle like it’s gold. It’s the perfume that has gotten the most compliments from me in winter, super warm and sexy, the sweetest and most intense version of the classic SI.
Cloudy day in Argentina and this beast of a perfume arrives at my door. Obviously, I open the package and test it out. I agree with many reviews about this exceptional aroma. It keeps the DNA of the original SI, which I also love, but here I feel there are fewer woods and more resin, lots of benzoin. Further down I read it’s a boozy rose, and yes, it’s exactly that. To my perception, it’s punchier than the original version at first, with a much more prominent rose, finishing with a very real benzoin and a super-fine patchouli. Do I love it? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes. Is it niche quality? Absolutely. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued in Argentina, so I’ll treat it like gold.
A beast of a perfume for winter outings; I love its scent and performance. The blackcurrants are very noticeable, and to me, it’s very sexy. It lasts quite a while on the skin, and the trail it leaves on clothes is exquisite. A 10/10.
A great perfume for going out in winter, I love its scent and performance. The blackcurrants are very noticeable, it’s very sexy. Lasts quite a bit on skin and the trail on clothes is exquisite. A 10/10.
Cloudy day in Argentina and this perfume bomb arrives at my house. Obviously, I open and test. I agree with many opinions: exceptional aroma. It keeps the DNA of the original Si, which I also like, but here I feel less wood and more resin, lots of benzoin. Further down I read it’s a boozy rose, and yes, exactly that. To my perception, it’s chiller than the original at first, with a very marked rose, finishing with a real benzoin and a fine patchouli. Do I love it? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes. Niche quality? Absolutely yes. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued in Argentina, so I’ll treasure it like gold.
Beware if you’re sensitive to patchouli: in the first few hours, especially the initial three, that note is intense and can be overwhelming. The blackcurrant syrup really stands out, giving it a sweet, penetrating character. It’s an elegant, well-made perfume, but not for delicate noses. If heavy patchouli scents aren’t your thing, skip this one.
