It’s the same, but just like the Si. I can’t afford the Armani one right now, but I tested it a few times in-store and can say it’s fresh, stands out from the trendy stuff, and feels youthful. Even though age isn’t a determining factor for me, I’ll use it when I’m a grandma too. It projects well and lasts quite a while.
It’s identical to Armani’s Si. I had the same experience with the original: I hated the opening, but then I couldn’t stop smelling it on my wrist. It obsessed me so much that I bought it the next day. What a relief! Now that we know each other better, the cassis note and I get along great, adding originality to a fragrance that’s otherwise quite common. It’s gourmand and elegant, perfect for day and night, almost for all seasons (maybe not summer). The dry down is delicious vanilla. The longevity is incredible for the price. Scent 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 9/10, Value 9/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
I love reading Taurien, and since I always buy blind, I trust her suggestions. This time, it didn’t match: the scent didn’t captivate me, the trail is almost non-existent, and it lasts only two hours on the skin. The good thing is the price, which is very low, so I can use it in summer as a splash. I’m sure my pH played another trick on me; honestly, I don’t know what to buy next.
I bought it blind and still didn’t like it. It smells more like a man’s fragrance, even though it’s unisex; it doesn’t feel feminine to me. Rive’s quality is good and it lasts a long time, but for me, it’s too strong; I prefer soft, non-intrusive perfumes. A disappointment, I can’t stand it, and it doesn’t suit me—it looks very masculine.
Giving it another shot. Smells like vanilla, rose, and freesia, but I don’t recognize the scent of ‘Si’. I won’t be buying it again.
