It’s nice, but it doesn’t break the mold. People often compare it to Miss Dior Cherie, but to me, it smells much more like Alexandre J’s Morning Musk. I owned the Musk before; when I tried this, I thought, “I’ve smelled this before,” not knowing which one it was. Once I saw the comparison, I said, “Yes, that’s the one!” haha. It’s a clean, citrusy fragrance with a sweet touch. Pleasant, but it’s a scent you already know.
Miss Dior Cherie is *my perfume*, the one where I thought, “That’s me.” Roses Elixir is very similar, especially when it dries down. Are they identical? Of course not. It lacks depth and the sweetness isn’t as intense; the opening isn’t quite as sparkling either. It’s a more innocent Miss Dior Cherie, with a shy look. Maybe in the floral-fruit balance of the Elixir, the floral side wins. I’m a huge fan of Cherie, so I notice this, though others might not care since they’re almost identical when dried. I’ll try it with the new Miss Dior Parfum; it could be a bomb. Should I recommend it? Absolutely, I loved it!

Maybe in Elixir’s floral-fruity balance, the floral side takes the lead. But I’m an absolute fan of Cherie, and I don’t know if others notice these differences since they are almost indistinguishable once dry. I’m going to try it paired with the new Miss Dior Parfum; it could be a bomb. Should I recommend it? Absolutely, I loved it.
It’s more floral than fruity, though the citrus notes really stand out. It’s fresh and very feminine. I don’t think it’s a standout fragrance for making a huge impression, but it’s lovely and one of the easiest Montales to enjoy. That said, I wouldn’t buy it blind. In the opening, for about 20-25 minutes, I detect a slightly plastic note; it’s not annoying, but it might make someone hesitate. After that, it fades away, letting the floral-citrus shine. The strawberry stays in the background, while the fresh rose leaf and pink roses take center stage. It lasts days on clothes and easily 8 hours on skin with a moderate sillage. Edit: The plastic note I mentioned has completely disappeared.

I bought it blind because people said it was similar to Miss Dior Cherie, and yes, it reminds me of it a bit, though without that citrus touch. At first, I felt it was a bit synthetic, and after spraying it once, after three hours, it was barely noticeable close to the skin. It’s not bad, it’s pleasant, though I didn’t understand what note I disliked (maybe the musk), so I kept giving it a chance. Edit: I let it macerate for only three days, and when I used it again… it smelled amazing! I’ve received many compliments. Yes, it resembles Miss Dior Cherie, it’s not the same, but it reminds me of it a lot and I’m very happy. It definitely improves with time; the key is to let it macerate for a few weeks.
I didn’t know Miss Dior Cherie, but Coco Made in Paris definitely has its own style, though it seems more youthful and refreshing than Chanel. It has that particularity I have with strawberry perfumes: they tend to tickle my nose a bit. It opens citrusy and fruity, then settles into something more serious. It’s a beautiful fragrance.
I’ve never tried Miss Dior Cherie, but Coco Mademoiselle definitely has its own style; however, it feels much more youthful and refreshing to me than Chanel. I have a quirk where strawberry-based perfumes give me a slight nose tickle. It starts bright and fruity, then settles into something a bit more serious. A beautiful fragrance.
I discovered it in a decant and got hooked, then I bought Alexandre J’s Morning Musk and it felt very similar; without testing them together, looking at the notes made me think of this: fruity style, fresher than citrus, floral, sweet, and musky, super feminine, soft for work without being annoying or for a first date, moderate sillage, and about 4 hours of longevity on my skin. Very rich!

On my skin, the strawberry, its leaves, and the rose stand out with a hint of musk in the background. It’s refreshing, feminine, and very pleasant. It’s a bit like Miss Dior Cherie EDP, but they’re not the same: Roses Elixir is musky, green, and fresh, while Miss Dior is juicier and sweeter. It’s not the most original in the world, but it’s pretty and ideal for strawberry lovers.
