I put it on and can’t stop smelling myself; it’s pure addiction. I smell the rose and amber intensely, especially the amber, which is my thing. It’s elegant, soft, and subtle—perfect for skin-to-skin dates. Nothing beastly, just something to feel close to. Sometimes it smells like cherry lollipops; maybe the amber creates that vibe. I see myself wearing this in the spring afternoon with a polo and jeans, or at an outdoor dinner with a shirt on those cool nights. A great perfume that will definitely join my collection, though the €160 price tag is a bit high.
Brasidas
I’ve only tried it once and I’m already hooked; it’s very attractive. It’s a well-blended sweet scent that feels oriental and addictive without losing Robert Piguet’s classic elegant style. The concept is a clean patchouli with amber for a soft, rounded texture, castoreum anchoring it with a subtle animal touch so it’s not intrusive, and bergamot relaxing it with freshness. I don’t know its evolution yet, but the longevity seems high, around 8 hours, and the sillage too. Impressed by just one spritz on my wrist, though I need to test it more; the first impression is that it will be a great perfume.
