I bought this Zara perfume on a blind buy and on sale a while back. At first, I smelled a sweet and fresh scent, perfect for everyday wear. It felt a bit timid at first, but after wearing it for a few days, I was surprised by all the compliments. On dry clothes, it smells exquisite and very feminine; nothing cloying, just a sweet freshness with citrus notes and hints of sugar and vanilla. I’ve always had good experiences with Zara: I use them daily, sometimes let them macerate, and magic happens. I regret not buying an extra bottle.
I picked it up because I liked it in the store, but it turns out to be quite tiring and sharp. I saved it for fall because it doesn’t suit me well in spring and summer, though I’ll try it again in autumn to see if it changes. The sugar and vanilla are very noticeable, along with a sharp note I can’t quite identify that lingers. I thought it would last longer, but it’s not what I was looking for.
