I went to try it thinking the center detail was a moon (“no, it’s a pendant”), and while it’s rich, I feel it’s an easy scent, something anyone could like. I get the impression it was formulated just to please everyone, nothing more. It’s nocturnal, sweet, ambered, and creamy; I wouldn’t buy it because it doesn’t offer any olfactory novelty, but I have to admit it smells very good. I suppose if I apply enough, I’ll get compliments… I don’t notice the resemblance to GON, maybe in the dry-down where its sweet base dominates? Yes, both end up being sweet.

I tested it today and immediately knew I wasn’t going to buy it. I thought, “I already have one, which one does this remind me of?”. It took me three minutes to remember where I had tested this scent, and of course, I haven’t worn my Girl of Now by Elie Saab in a while, but there it was: Olympea Absolu smelling shamelessly identical. The only difference I found is that this one is more jasmine and the other more orange blossom; the rest is almost identical. So when I say almost identical, I mean I wouldn’t even think it was a flanker; if I smelled it on someone else, I wouldn’t say it’s Girl of Now, I’d say it IS Girl of Now. I loved it anyway; it doesn’t resemble the other Olympeas I’ve tried.

To me, this Olympea is the child of Pure XS and Good Girl Legere (CH).

🙈🙈🙈🙈 next please. This is no longer Olympea. I don’t know why they compare it to Angel Elixir. It’s even worse.
