To my nose, the oud starts medicinal but settles down to last the entire life of the perfume. What dominates is that citrusy lime (as the name suggests) that persists from the first spray to the very end. The main accord is citrusy, and everything revolves around it. Paired with the medicinal oud, it creates a honey-like vibe, resulting in an strangely sweet scent. Cheers, colleagues 🖐️

At first glance, it smells a lot like BLACK AOUD. If my memory serves me right, this LIME is a bit more citrusy and less powdery. I’ll test both side by side and update. To the previous comment, I invite you to try it and judge it with your own nose for a real conclusion. But if it smells like insecticide, then NO.
I’ll be 100% honest to help anyone interested. I bought it blind, it was my first and only Montale, and I wanted an Oud. The result was an absolute failure. I don’t wear it. My partner says it smells like a mosquito killer and she’s right: it has that rose scent and insecticida touch that repels, just like I remember from childhood. I don’t recommend it, at least not as a blind buy.

Aoud Lime offers something interesting among oud fragrances. We know oud is usually dark, but not here. The sharp citrus notes counteract that darkness, creating a translucent effect. The concept plays with the chiaroscuro between citrus and oud, which is unusual. However, it has a flaw: it feels very synthetic. If you’re looking for something similar, try Acqua di Parma Colonia Oud; it’s higher quality and more luminous. It’s a peculiar proposal, too bad it seems so artificial. Sometimes our opinions aren’t about science, just sharing impressions. Those who like the synthetic vibe won’t have any issues. Longevity, projection, and sillage are moderate. Being more refreshing gives it versatility.

It’s probably the rose and patchouli creating this citrus trompe-l’œil. The amber smells dirty and quite smoky. The iris and sandalwood add opulence to the classic kings’ formula: oud with saffron. With half a spray, it has an incredible opening and lots of clarity. Luxury!
