It leaves me torn. It’s a flanker of Zara’s Red Temptation, which is already a clone of Baccarat Rouge. The similarity is undeniable thanks to that praline and blood orange sweetness, but they’ve added jasmine and violet with dark, animalic leather or suede notes that give it mystery. In the end, the result isn’t optimal; it smells too much like the original RT and gets tiring over time. It’s not interesting, more confusing.
Mixing Red Temptation and Platinum Sky results in a scent that smells exactly like Deep Temptation.
Intoxicating amounts of tonka, blackberry, watermelon, and amberwood. This concept isn’t for me. It takes forever to dry down and stop being sharp. Maybe it would work in the men’s section.
A very masculine perfume: starts fruity-floral with violet and jasmine, like a dusty bouquet, with a soft citrus base that isn’t blood orange. After 10 minutes, the spiced saffron from the original base becomes very masculine with a strong animalic leather, like a Tom Ford jacket, which drowns everything out. The mineral metallic notes linger in the background. I don’t recommend it blindly; if you love leather, it could work for a man with a mysterious and sophisticated aura. It has great projection and can be overwhelming in the heat, better suited for cool nights or fall/winter. It has personality, not for everyone.
