I tried it a few days ago, and it smells like a cheap department store fragrance, artificial. I tried the Yara too, and it also seemed cheap. They have good longevity and project quite a bit for the price, but Arabic perfumes just don’t grab my attention.
Don’t kill me, I’ve worn this for two years in the summer and I don’t know why it reminds me so much of Ralph Lauren now. I own both, and on my skin, they smell very similar when they dry down.
I was chasing the Yara Tous and bought this as a rebound, but I’ve liked this one much more than the Tous. It’s woody and floral but nothing heavy. It’s perfect for any occasion and feels more unisex-feminine. Simply amazing; it completely won me over.
It’s my favorite of the Yara line, different from the others. It’s the one for serious openings, not sweet despite the caramel. I think it’s the perfect balance between fruity, floral, and sweet. It’s the adult Yara.
It’s beautiful and real, but very soft. If you’re looking for something more potent, I don’t recommend it.
I see it, I want it, I have it… it’s exquisite. Fresh, elegant white florals with a green note. The caramel is mature and incredible, not tacky at all. Just let it macerate if the batch is new.
It’s true it smells similar to Perfect Intense, but there are differences. At first, Yara Moi is floral; you can smell the sweet jasmine. It’s not a super fresh floral, and that’s my favorite part. That floral blends with the sweetness of the caramel and woods, but it’s not a woody perfume; that touch gives the flowers depth. At first sniff, it seems like a classic jasmine. I love it for day or dinner. It’s not powerful or loud. It fits any occasion and is distinct from the Yara or Yara Candy style. Regarding the similarity to Perfect Intense: it reminds you of it, but in Perfect Intense, the opening and dry-down are sweet with nutty or dried fruit notes, lasting that way. The jasmine isn’t as prominent as in Yara Moi or perfumes like My Way. They aren’t the same: if you want something sweeter and more balanced, go for the Perfect; if you prefer something lighter and more floral, choose the Moi. You have to test them on skin because the Perfect didn’t work for me, so I stuck with the Moi, though it’s a good reference to know what they’re aiming for.
At first, it’s a fruity jasmine that turns caramelized in seconds. It can seem overly sweet if you’re not used to sugary scents. You can definitely feel the caramel, but it’s light, not dark, and the jasmine sometimes gets overshadowed. As it dries down, that soapy/clean scent emerges, competing with the caramel. I love that style, so it was a hit, even though people sometimes associate it with older women (like white florals). That soapy base reminds me of Cacharel’s Eden. For the price, I’m more than happy.
I bought it blind, hoping the caramel would shine more (big mistake). It’s a very ‘wild’ perfume, almost something I’d wear as a man. The patchouli and sandalwood are very prominent, with the jasmine only showing up in the opening. I didn’t like it and won’t be buying it again.
I think I’ll buy this blind because I absolutely love Perfect Intense; that perfume is a gem, and it’s even more expensive, haha.
I don’t know why this smells a bit like Idôle, but it’s a gorgeous fragrance. On my skin, the florals dominate with a fruity touch. It’s lovely and delicate; it could use a bit more longevity, but the opening trail is fantastic.
So sad. It’s truly exquisite and I loved it until the dry-down, when the patchouli really kicks in—I almost ripped my arm off from washing it so many times.
I bought it today, tested it on my skin, and waited. While it’s beautiful and rich, it’s a bit soft, and I prefer more intense perfumes. It’s ideal for daytime, summer, and spring: fresh, green, with lots of white flowers. On the skin and after going out, the jasmine is very noticeable, and only after a few hours does a shy but rich and deep caramel appear. If you like white flowers and jasmine, buy it without hesitation.
Out of the entire Yara collection, this is the best for my nose. I wouldn’t buy it again because it’s different and has a very special note. I don’t compare it to the others; each one is special. Would I gift it?……..
By far the worst of all the Yaras. It’s the only one we don’t sell in our perfumery because it’s bad at everything: poor dry-down, poor projection, poor sillage, and poor longevity. It’s on par with the Zanzibar in terms of how bad it is. I don’t recommend it to anyone, at any price. It’s affordable, but that doesn’t mean it can be trash. My advice: DO NOT BUY, and especially not blind (unless you’re 85; if so, congratulations on knowing how to use Fragrantica).
My biggest disappointment… I tested it on blotter and fell in love with that caramel and peach scent, so I went to buy it without even smelling it again. When I got home, the great letdown: it smells like flowers, and I hate flowers. Plus, its longevity is so high that one spray wouldn’t go away, and I couldn’t stand it. This was my first Yara; if I had known, I would have bought the Tous Yara instead. In short, for me, it smells like an older woman. Elegant? Maybe, but it’s simply an ‘older woman’ scent. Sadly, it will be forgotten. NOTE: 5.5/10.
I 100% agree with @Lemon1206, and it happened to me too. I tested it on blotter in the store and thought it was exquisite, elegant, and floral with hints of caramel and peach. I loved it and bought it on sale, but at home it was a disappointment. It has so much jasmine at the start that it gives me a headache. I ended up gifting it away.
Reminds me of J’adore by Dior, and I absolutely love it.
I bought this blind and I shouldn’t have. It smells a lot like Issay Miyaki to me, and that one gives me a headache. I’ll try the Candy or the Yara instead to see if they’re better.
I bought it months ago and didn’t like it at first, but I used it today and the dry-down was delicious. The projection is incredible; I’ve worn it for 8 hours and I can still smell it. It starts with lots of jasmine, then dries down to reveal a creamy, floral sandalwood, finishing with a sparkling, woody amber base. What a beautiful scent—I’m completely smitten.
It’s like an improved version of Dior’s J’adore; I’m obsessed and wear it daily because I’m in love with it. Recommended if you like perfumes like J’adore.
Delicious! The first 15 minutes are pure white florals. I almost passed it up in the store because it seemed too floral, but once I saw the heart and base notes, wow, super rich. You can feel the sandalwood and caramel; it stays sweet but keeps the earthiness of the patchouli. It got soaked into the sleeve of my jacket, and for a whole day, I kept running to the closet to smell it. Maybe I’m getting older, but what I love is that it’s sweet and floral without falling into that dessert-like gourmand trap. I adore those scents, but I’m not sure if I’d wear them daily. This one, I’d wear every day. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for caramel with character and personality, thanks to the flowers and patchouli, which make it more refined and soft. If it seems like a scent for an older lady, it might just be because you’re used to purely gourmand fragrances. I never felt perfumes had an age; at 15, I wore scents adults said were for older people, and I didn’t care—the perfume reflects the person wearing it. It’s feminine, sophisticated, and special. A win-win.
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised; I didn’t have high expectations. It’s a rich, creamy jasmine; at first, you get the peach and I don’t detect much caramel, which makes it a good daily, feminine, and more original scent than I expected. To sum it up: creamy jasmine + sandalwood, then jasmine with sweet peach. I’m hooked.
It’s a full-bodied, elegant, and imposing fragrance. It’s sweet but very distinct from its sisters, Yara Rosado and Candy; it has a more mature sweetness from the caramel and jasmine, with the latter being the dominant note alongside the wood, giving it a fresh, green touch. The peach is noticeable in the opening and balances the scent to make it floral/fruity. It’s not for older ladies, but rather for someone in their early twenties (like me). It’s not for daily use, but for the office, dinners, or special occasions. The longevity is beast mode: I shower and I can still smell it. I give it 10/10; I like it more than Yara Rosado.
The notes I notice most are caramel, sandalwood, and amber. It’s sweet, creamy, woody, and ambered, with a floral touch that doesn’t get cloying. I love the dry-down of this Lattafa collection; it has a powdery, 90s vibe. It’s not my usual gourmand style, but I might give it a shot.
Opens with rose, vaguely reminding me of Idole, and I’m fascinated because I’m a huge rose fan. Every nose is different, and I agree: out of the three Yaras, this is my favorite (to clarify, I also love Perfect by Maison Jil Sander). As it dries down, the jasmine appears with elegant sweetness. I don’t recommend buying it blindly because opinions vary widely, but for me, it’s an absolute yes.
Quick analysis: 1. Versatility: works for any season, day or night, but feels very formal. 2. Longevity: between 6 and 8 hours. 3. Sillage: moderate, projects well in both open and enclosed spaces. 4. My take: it fits my tastes but not entirely. I wouldn’t buy it again; I only used it once in the last three months.
Why didn’t I buy this sooner? It’s gorgeous and I love it. It smells way better than Yara Rosado: elegant and lasts until the next day. It’s a sexy caramel, sandalwood, and amber scent that will surely make heads turn. I agree with those who say it resembles J’adore; it’s a bit like it, but this one is better.
White floral and coconut opening, super fresh and delicate. Then the peach and jasmine create a creamy accord that’s rich but not cloying—tropical yet refined. As it dries down, the sandalwood with a touch of caramel adds warmth and elegance. It’s understated, perfect for everyday wear: it doesn’t overpower, smells amazing without being overwhelming. It’s neither too youthful nor old-fashioned; it’s the most sophisticated in the Yara line. Perfect for heat and moments when you want to smell good without bothering anyone. There are more intense options for night, but this shines with its balance and serenity. A sophisticated, mature delight, the calmest in the collection. 8/10.
One of the most exquisite scents I’ve ever tried. I detect jasmine and caramel right from the start, and over time, the sandalwood adds maturity and elegance. It lasts about 8 hours with good projection and several more on the skin, easily surpassing 10 hours. The oily texture really helps with longevity. I’d definitely repurchase this as soon as I finish the current bottle.
I like it, but it doesn’t overwhelm me. It has that thing the Yara line has, like a dessert; you can smell the caramel and it’s sweet. But you can also smell quite a bit of floral, the jasmine, which for me makes it less youthful. For an older person, I feel it’s a good perfume. It’s a more mature and elegant fragrance, not as sweet as a dessert. But try it on your skin because it changes a lot. I agree with the comments; if you like J’adore, you’ll like this.
It’s a well-woody jasmine. At times, you feel that creamy sweetness of the peach. I’m not a fan of woody perfumes, but it’s well-balanced. It’s okay; it doesn’t drive me crazy, and I wouldn’t buy it again. If you like the vibe of Dior’s J’adore, you’ll like this (not dupes, by the way). It’s more of a formal perfume, for a woman around 30.
I find it elegant and refined; it’s the most formal of the sisters. I like it for daytime formal occasions.
It’s elegant and slightly sweet. But the florals ended up making me dizzy. I liked that I could smell the peach with caramel, but the rest didn’t convince me; I felt it was too strong and floral.
No doubt that pH is a miracle: three of us friends tried it and got different notes. For me, it came out floral; for one friend, it smelled like pure scandal. In the end, it’s a nice perfume. I have the Body version and if it works for me, I like it, but it’s something casual, not as rich on my skin as the Candy.
It’s pretty, but today it feels generic.
It’s a perfume that’s hard to like, very floral and woody, in the ‘lady perfume’ style. It works for special occasions, has an elegant touch, but personally, I don’t like it much. It has good longevity and is noticeable; I wouldn’t buy it for more than $30. I don’t like this type of perfume, but for someone who really loves florals, it could be great. 6.5/10.
After months of wearing it, I finally finished the bottle… and never again.
I bought it blind because I love jasmine and had read countless reviews. It gave me so much anxiety to try it out, and I think that anxiety worked against me. On the first spray, I thought I’d made a mistake—it wasn’t for me. I smelled a very strong wood note at first, so much so that I doubted it. But then the hidden jasmine appeared, one of my favorite notes. From there, the perfume changed: you can smell the peach, amber, and then patchouli. Dried down, it’s impeccable, elegant but not pretentious. I loved it. I find it very versatile, suitable for all year and almost any occasion.
Hi! Tried it today and loved it. As it dries down, the jasmine and peach really stand out; it reminded me of those canned peaches sold in Chile. It has something that transports me back to 90s perfumes. So far, I really like it and am thinking of wearing it to work.
