Have you worn Attraction Sensation?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. I tried it and like it, but I think it’s more for people over 25 (I’m 20). It starts with ginger and orange, then plum in the base, followed by iris, jasmine, and a touch of leather. It’s youthful, sexy, and perfect for night. It’s not really my style—I almost hate florals—but it smells great.

They gave it to me and it’s not bad, but it feels generic and run-of-the-mill; nothing new or amazing. It smells good, wears well, and is fine for daily use. I detect flowers, jasmine, and tangerine, with a shy hint of freesia at the end. As for the leather… no idea. On my skin, it reminds me of Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle. The bottle is gorgeous, with minimalist lines and very elegant design.

  3. Avon surprises me with original scents from time to time, and this is one of them. They mention plum around, but I didn’t detect it at all. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Avon Attraction Sensation Eau de Parfum: starts citrusy, then moves to leather with a bit of white jasmine and plum (official notes), with a sweet touch. It’s best for formal occasions and cold weather, with moderate sillage lasting 2-4 hours. Like the others, it’s strong. The leather suits me well, while the plum and jasmine emerge in the dry-down with that medium sweetness. It woke me up; it’s for daily wear, going to work, with a coffee, to stay sharp.
