  1. Delicious is so sophisticated that I’ve never smelled anything like it again. It seems sexy and nothing conventional; it lasts hours on skin and on clothes it becomes part of your essence. I don’t detect coconut or caramel, more sandalwood. I love it and take great care of it because Zara no longer sells it 😨. I found a huge similarity, though not identical, with Zara

  2. Delicious is so sophisticated that I never looked for anything like it again. It smells sexy and unconventional, lasting hours on skin and clothes until it becomes your essence. I don’t detect coconut or caramel, more sandalwood. I adore it and take great care of it because Zara no longer sells it 😨. It has a strong similarity to Zara’s Amber Linen, though it’s not the same.

  3. To me, it smells like real, sweet coconut. It’s linear, projects to 2 meters, and lasts 8 hours on skin, though on clothes it’s eternal. I love it; it’s the longest-lasting Zara perfume. 10/10 recommended.

  4. To me, it smells like real, sweet coconut. It’s a linear scent with great performance; the trail reaches about 2 meters, lasting around 8 hours on skin and fading slowly, but it lasts a long time on clothes. I love it; it’s the longest-lasting Zara perfume. Highly recommended 10/10.

I went to Peru and in the center of Cuzco, I smelled a very spicy and woody aroma that I loved. At ‘A Perfume’, I found that fragrance, and the first whiff transported me right back to that mountain. I’m a fan of sweet scents, but this one is NOT sweet; it smells quite unisex and I love it. I’ll buy it on my next visit. Edit: I bought it. The opening is fresh, woody, and citrusy (dry citrus, not juicy). I put it on a sweater, and the next day when I wore it, I felt an incredible delicacy, like a warm and enigmatic embrace. I detected a sweet, woody coconut. The more I use it, the more I like it. It makes me feel empowered, lifts my mood, and has personality. People never stop teasing me about it, men and women alike. It’s become my favorite Zara scent, a must-have for autumn and winter. I consider it the longest-lasting. I’ll keep buying it until I get tired of it (if I ever do) 😉

I read the reviews and had expectations that weren’t met. I love woody scents and thought I’d love it too, my own fault. On my skin, it doesn’t last, mind you; almost nothing does on my very dry skin. It’s not my perfume. Let no one be guided by my opinion; everyone is different. Zara lets us buy the 10ml version, which is super affordable, and that’s great; we should be grateful for it.

  8. I read the reviews and built up some expectations that didn’t pan out. I’m a huge fan of woody scents and thought I’d love this, my own fault. On me, it doesn’t last—though honestly, almost nothing does; I have very dry skin. It’s just not my perfume. Don’t let my opinion guide you; everyone’s world is different. I have to thank Zara for letting us buy the 10 ml version; it’s super affordable and very well done.

  9. I stopped by Zara for their new collection and picked up the ‘A Perfume’ in 10 ml, drawn in by the great reviews. I thought I’d try it before committing to the 100 ml bottle, but in the end, I’m not getting the big one—even though it’s a really good perfume. The quality is top-notch, just as I read: its trail and longevity (10-12 hours) beat anything else from Zara. The scent is magnificent, balanced, and has personality; wood lovers, especially sandalwood fans, will adore it. The opening is rich, citrusy, and sweet with a caramel touch, but soon the sandalwood takes over. On me, it smells a bit masculine, and since I already have other woodier scents I prefer, I won’t be taking the large bottle. I’ll definitely enjoy the mini: it’s versatile, perfect for day, night, and any season. I hope Zara keeps making perfumes with this quality; many of their fragrances are amazing but don’t last. At €17.95 for the 100 ml, it’s fantastic if you like it and it suits your skin. Scent 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 9/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? Maybe.

  10. Yesterday, before paying, I tested the ‘A Perfume’ bottle at the counter. Without a doubt, I knew it was a dupe of Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique. It opens with honeyed amber and citrus that fade in five minutes, revealing a green, dry vetiver. Then, the sweetness gives way to a masculine vetiver that, in the end, with a caramel edge, is all that remains. Since I own the original and know it, I’d say this smells a bit more aggressive at first, sweeter, and less natural, with a slightly rougher vetiver. Otherwise, they’re almost identical. It seems curious that Inditex would latch onto a Swedish niche brand, though it doesn’t sit well with me: Bal d’Afrique costs between 150 and 180 euros, while this one is only 18.

  11. I went to Zara for their new perfumes and picked up the ‘A Perfume’ in a 10ml miniature, eager to try it before buying the big bottle. In the end, even though it’s a good smell, I won’t be buying the full size. The quality is top-notch, just as I read: its trail and longevity (10-12 hours) surpass any other Zara scent. The aroma is magnificent, balanced, and has personality, ideal for sandalwood lovers. The opening is rich, citrusy, and sweet, with a caramel note that fades quickly to let sandalwood dominate. It smells a bit masculine to me, and since I already have other woods I prefer, I’m sticking with the miniature. I enjoy this one because it’s versatile for day and night. I hope Zara keeps making perfumes like this, because many others smell good but don’t last. At 17.95 euros for 100ml, if you like it, it’s a steal. Scent 7/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Value/Quality 9/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? Maybe.
