Olé by Ramon Monegal is a floral fruity fragrance from the Ramon Monegal house, created for men and women. Launched in 2019, this composition was designed by Ramon Monegal himself. Its top notes unfold a vibrant blend of pineapple, raspberry, and dates. The heart of the composition is held together with elegance by cedar, jasmine, and orchid. To finish, the base notes offer a warm and enveloping sequence of balsam fir, musk, and vanilla.

Not much to say about this fantastic fragrance. It opens with a pineapple sweetened by date and a barely perceptible touch of raspberry, so well-crafted I could wear it all day with my nose glued to my wrist. Gradually, over a few hours, these notes relax to give way to a woody dry-down with that sweet vanilla undertone. It’s a work of art in the tradition of Myrurgia, now carried on by Monegal. It’s a perfume I absolutely love on a woman, but when my partner tried it, it suited him just as well. It’s a true unisex and I recommend it for any collection without hesitation.
Ole is one of the best pineapple perfumes I’ve tried. It’s worlds apart from others like Aventus, with a completely different evolution. It opens with a very natural, recognizable pineapple mixed with sweet notes like dates. As it dries down, the florals (jasmine and orchid) take over, making the scent more woody with a base of musk, fir, and delicate, long-lasting vanilla. I’d define it as a pure fruity floral. On my skin, the longevity is acceptable, nothing bomb-like (6-9 hours), with a soft projection. It’s ideal for wearing on your own or for romantic dates. Its freshness makes it perfect for daily wear and any weather—very versatile and unisex. By the way, I tested a Monegal set with 7 perfumes; Flamenco and Faista stood out, while Ole became almost imperceptible. It’s one of the most discreet in the line, but in longevity, it takes the crown alongside Flamenco. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 9, Originality: 7, Overall: 8
Out of 3 tests from a discovery set of 7 (+1 sample). The scent is fundamentally fruity, high-quality pineapple and raspberry, with crisp notes that are easily distinguished. All this is accompanied by balsamic notes (according to readings, fir) and a sweet vanilla and cedar base. It’s a scent that, despite the fruity notes, is more warm, pleasant, yet also bold and evocative. I haven’t tried Erba Pura by Xerjoff, but I’ve read its reviews and they apply to this fragrance. As a man, I find it hard to wear—not that you can’t—but it’s more for a confident woman. Very good longevity and moderate trail after an hour. In summary, it’s an attention-grabbing scent, something different with good performance, exactly what I look for in niche fragrances. 8/10.

I’d love to own this perfume; it suits me. When it arrives in Spain, I have to visit this perfume store.
Just received it, a Christmas gift. This perfume stands out from the rest; the bottle and packaging are excellent, it lasts a long time on the skin, and you notice it wherever you go. In short, a perfume if you want to smell different and sexy at the same time. A 10/10.
I see many highlight the pineapple, and indeed it opens with a ripe, juicy pineapple with raspberry hints, but on my skin, what dominates from the start are the dates. Oh my god, I feel like I’m eating very sweet, creamy dates; it’s the first perfume with such a realistic date note. After two hours, the potent cedar wood appears, balancing the fragrance and making it very unisex; in my case, I don’t detect the fir, perhaps due to lack of familiarity. The jasmine adds a subtle floral touch alongside the orchid, but overall, I perceive it as more fruity and woody as time passes. In terms of longevity, it’s a beast; it lasts me two full days; not even the best shower removes it after 48 hours. It has a brutal trail—you can smell it from many meters if there’s a breeze. WARNING: do not spray it directly on clothes, the scent won’t wash out in the next three washes and could interfere with other perfumes. Monegal quality, that’s for sure.
I see many say pineapple is what stands out, and indeed, it opens with a ripe, juicy pineapple with hints of raspberry, but on my skin, the date note dominates from the start. Oh my god, it feels like I’m eating very sweet, creamy dates; it’s the first perfume with a date note that’s too realistic. At two hours, the potent cedar appears to balance it and make it very unisex; I don’t sense the fir, maybe my nose isn’t familiar with it. The jasmine adds a subtle floral touch with the orchid, but overall, I sense it as more fruity and woody over time. The longevity is beast mode; it lasts two full days on me; not even the best shower removes it in 48 hours. Massive trail that people will smell from yards away with a bit of breeze. WARNING: do not spray directly on clothes; it won’t wash out in the next three washes and can interfere with other perfumes. Monegal quality, that’s all.
I’m the only one, but what I notice most is the raspberry, like Haribo strawberry gummies that taste all their own thing. In fact, every time I test it, I get hungry and buy gummies; it’s a full-on gourmand. I wouldn’t wear it for that reason—I don’t want to get diabetes—but if you like sweet, it’s spectacular and totally beast mode, highly recommended.
Finally got a sample… It’s okay, sweet and different. But on my skin, when it dries down, it becomes extremely sour with a green wood note. The dates are hard to imagine; I sense them more in Khamra or Nomade Naturelle. I won’t buy it; it’s a good scent but doesn’t match my taste, and I know I’d get tired of it.
I simply love it. The dates with the orchids really stand out; it’s my second favorite out of the four I own.

I liked it! It feels distinct from the typical stuff, more summery and very fruity.

Master Monegal, I’m bowing at his feet. ¡Olé! This scent deserves applause, and you can tell it’s his work. I’ve tried ‘Siesta’ and his nose is definitely showing here. It’s one of the few raspberries I can tolerate. The phases are distinct; it evolves a lot, which fascinates me. It opens fruity (pineapple and raspberry), then the flowers kick in. On my skin, it’s a mix of fruits, green florals, balsamic, and minty notes. In two words: different and distinguished.
I loved its fruity, juicy, and sparkling opening—very cheerful and perfect for spring/summer. But as it dries down, I sense a note that becomes unpleasant to my nose, coinciding with the same dry-down I feel with Isla Blanca 2023. I believe they share the dates, and I think it’s the balsam fir 😣
I love the juicy fruits at the top; it’s super cheerful and summery, but it smells bad to me when it dries down, same as Isla Blanca 2023. I think the balsam fir is the culprit, even though they share the dates 🤔
I agree with the previous review. It opens very fruity and sparkling, but then it turns unpleasant, at least on my skin. I think it’s the pineapple-date combo that just doesn’t work for me. Try spraying it directly on skin before buying, because the smell is very different between the blister and how it evolves on the skin. Unfortunately, it’s not for me.
Great job by RM. Opens very bright and fruity, somewhat feminine where pineapple and raspberry dominate, but a man can wear it without any problem. I expected a creamier perfume due to the vanilla, but it doesn’t end with a weird musk (after 8 hours). Still, I give it a general 7.5.

Olé is probably one of the brand’s most famous scents. My experience is very special, as I perceive the pineapple and raspberry with a chocolatey tint, and even sometimes like a fruit ice cream bathed in chocolate; it’s very evocative and delicious. Despite the sweetness, I perceive it as quite fresh and versatile. I think it can be worn all year round and is perfectly unisex. The ingredient quality is excellent, as it’s easy to fall into a synthetic accord with fruity and musky notes, but here it feels like this ‘ice cream’ is made from pulp and with great care. I love it, and if you like gourmand perfumes or the pineapple note, this is a must-try. Rating: 9/10. Tested from the Discovery Set.
Olé by Ramón Monegal is a brilliant fruity-woody creation that stands out for its distinctive character and outstanding quality. The listed notes are perceived as balanced and harmonious, creating a unique and captivating experience. I consider it quite versatile and attractive, perfect for various occasions. Its composition is a true work of art that will surely resonate with those who enjoy fragrances that masterfully combine freshness and depth.
Olé by Ramón Monegal is one of the richest and most extraordinary fragrances I’ve ever tried. From the very first moment, I fell in love: super sweet pineapple with subtle hints of raspberry and vanilla that give it that characteristic sweetness. For those looking for longevity, it lasts over 12 hours and projects like a beast during that time; an incredible fragrance. One of the most realistic and rich pineapple scents, a magnet for compliments and easy to like. Plus, it’s very versatile; you can wear it almost year-round thanks to that particular sweetness, but also in hot weather since it’s primarily fruity; perfect for night outs, summer, or spring, being one of its best moments.
Fruity opening with a dominant pineapple, though with a sweetness that gives it a certain mango-like quality. In the dry down, you can feel the weight of woods that give it body. It reminds me a lot of God of Fire, which isn’t a stretch since they’re from the same family: fruity-woody. It’s rich. Simply put, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table.
A sweet fruity blend with a slightly synthetic vibe, where pineapple, dates, and raspberry take turns in the spotlight. The pineapple is vibrant, the date is denser, and the raspberry sits in the background. The white flowers barely make an appearance amidst all that sweetness. When it dries down, it leaves an amber-vanilla base that feels recycled from other fragrances by the house. It has its moments, but it just doesn’t quite convince me.
I don’t know what’s going on, but it just doesn’t work on my skin. Luckily I ordered a tester to check if it’s really as beautiful as everyone says… but on my skin, it smells like a loud, weird musk; it doesn’t disgust me, but it’s not what I expected.
Just tried it and I loved it. It’s fresh and fruity; the pineapple smells sweet and suddenly also like mango. I own Flamenco (which I don’t love but can’t get rid of), and compared to Olé, this one seems more enjoyable and wearable. As for sillage and longevity, I assume they’re equally beastly. I would definitely buy it.
Same as its brother Flamenco, this one hooked me on the first spray. But Olé gave me a shock: it smells extremely masculine, but on top of that, it has that egg smell which is fatal. It reminds me of that annoying metallic note in Divine by J.P.G. It’s super potent, so two sprays are more than enough. The green notes do add freshness, but that egg smell persists and for me, it’s unbearable.
