La Isla Blanca (2023) is a different kind of sailor, a masterpiece by Ramón Monegal. Fresh with a sweet, green touch and impeccable longevity. Monegal translates his Ibiza experience from a terrace overlooking the sea. It’s maritime, linear yet unique, where blackcurrants and pine blend with sandalwood and dates: fresh, green, sweet, salty, all at once. Alongside Sunset Café and Flowerpower, they’re my favorites from the Ibiza line; you can tell a lot of heart went into creating them. The bottle screams cleanliness and serenity, with about 5 hours of projection and over 8 hours on the skin. It seems simple, but it’s not. Unisex, perfect with a white shirt in spring or summer. A gem.

  • Honestly, I don’t know who is responsible for such a wrong rating, but it’s annoying and the purpose isn’t clear either. Setting that aside, it was love at first sniff with this beautiful creation by Ramón, a fresh perfume that at the same time has a sweet point thanks to the dates but isn’t annoying in the slightest. Excellent longevity and projection, 9/10.

La Isla Blanca (2023) is a different marine scent. It’s a masterpiece by Ramón Monegal, a fresh perfume with a touch of sweetness, a hint of green, and impeccable performance. Monegal reflects his experience on the island of Ibiza, in this case from a terrace with a sea view. A marine perfume, somewhat linear but distinct, where cranberries blend perfectly with pine, backed by sandalwood and dates. It’s fresh, green, sweet, marine, salty, unique—it’s all at once. La Isla Blanca alongside Sunset Café (2023) are my favorites from Monegal’s Ibiza line; alongside Flowerpower (2023), you can see the effort, the hard work, and the heart put into creating these wonders. The bottle reflects cleanliness, whiteness, and serenity. The performance is impressive; to be honest, it lasts a minimum of 8 hours on skin, about 5 projecting well. It seems like a simple perfume but it isn’t. It’s quite unisex, to wear with a white shirt, whether in spring or summer, a masterpiece.

  • I wore it all day, on a day that hovered around 30 degrees. A calm Sunday, family meal, heat accelerated by wine, reunions. And there couldn’t be a better perfume for the occasion. A green opening where coriander (undeclared) is a surprising and welcome protagonist. Energizing burst, of white flowers, of faint sea salt, of earthy green. Evolution toward a creamy summer sandalwood, never abandoning the green part. Incredible longevity, more than 7 hours, and you don’t have to hunt for it (though I must admit I applied generously, as I always do). The price is more than decent for the quality it has. Everyone talks about #Sunsetcafé, but this #Laislablanca in its 2023 version is a real treat. If it comes your way, don’t even think twice.

  • I wore it all day in 30-degree heat. A quiet Sunday, family meal, wine warmth, and reunions. There’s no better perfume for this. A green outing where cilantro (unlisted) is a fantastic star. An energetic burst of white florals, sea salt, and earthy green that evolves into a creamy summer sandalwood without losing its green edge. Incredible longevity, over 7 hours (though I was generous as usual). Decent price for the quality. Everyone talks about #Sunsetcafé, but this #Laislablanca 2023 is an absolute treat. If it comes your way, don’t think twice.

  • In my TOP 3 of perfumes. Bestial performance. Words are unnecessary, try it and judge for yourselves.

  • Top 3 pick. Brutal performance. Words can’t do it justice—try it and judge for yourself.

  • Sublime, scandalous, notorious… perfect balance between acidic, floral, green, and woody. An extraordinary creation that denotes freshness and fun without losing class. Overwhelming performance; on warm nights and in motion, the fragrance radiates, overshadowing everyone present. Until today, it remains the best in the Ibiza collection, the one that best represents those nights of white linen and sandals to the beat of electronic music and ice-cold drinks until the sun rises.

I don’t know if it’s well-known or not… I hope not, because of how original it is and its amazing performance. It’s explosive without being citrusy, feels like strong projection from start to finish, and gives you a fresh vibe like a pine forest in summer surrounded by the beach. Without being a very challenging aroma, it’s original, quite versatile, and its performance has made my head spin. A 10/10.

Not sure if it’s well-known… I hope not, given how original and impressive the performance is. It’s explosive yet not citrusy, highly projected from start to finish, and delivers a fresh air vibe like a pine forest by the beach in summer. Without being too challenging, it’s original, versatile, and the performance has literally blown my mind. A 10/10.

Wow, wow… zero expectations and I absolutely love it. Opens bright and strong, with a fruity and sweet charge that isn’t cloying. There’s something fresh at the start that achieves this, though I can’t identify it. Seems green, a fresh green that tames the sweetness and adds extra energy without being citrusy, which is already an achievement. The heart is a bit creamier, but again, not cloying. Curiously, it feels summery. I still haven’t figured out the notes. I sense something lactonic and fruity. I’m surprised by how much I like it. The dry-down, still fruity, welcomes a more elegant and less playful feel, thanks to the sandalwood and some woody notes. I don’t detect the smoke at first. Edit: at 5 hours, in the background, I sense something smoky, incense-like. I perceive it now. Summery, but with breadth toward other seasons, different, fun, yet versatile enough for the office and unisex. Good performance, not projecting like a beast, fixes extremely well for over 8 hours… and the price is correct. I think it was a pleasant surprise, lacking more uses. I didn’t expect it.

Absolutely gorgeous, with brutal performance and projection. Super fresh without being citrusy, sweet without being cloying, and slightly floral. I never get tired of smelling it. Lasts 8 to 10 hours on skin, and more than a day on clothes.

  • Victortor

Wow, wow… zero expectations and I absolutely love it. It opens bright and powerful, with a fruity-sweet vibe that’s rich without being cloying. The top note is fresh and hard to pin down, almost green, cutting through the sweetness with energy without feeling citrusy—a real achievement. The heart is a bit creamier but still not cloying, giving off a summery vibe. I detect a milky, fruity twist that pleasantly surprises me. The drydown stays fruity but becomes more elegant and less playful, thanks to the sandalwood and a touch of woodiness. I didn’t notice the smoke at first, but after five hours, I get a smoky, incense-like nuance. It’s summery yet expansive, unique, fun, and versatile—even for the office and unisex. Performance is solid: not beast-mode projection but very long-lasting, easily over 8 hours, at a fair price. A delightful surprise.

Super summery. Fresh, green, and sweet opening, but from a non-gourmand fruit. Over time, the woods gain strength and merge with the initial green, leaving the skin with the sensation of a fresh pine forest in Ibiza after a summer rain. You’re very likely to like this scent.

Ethyl Maltol bomb, super sweet with lots of oakmoss. Reminds me a bit of Naxos with that blurry aldehydic vibe. The opening is rich, salty, and tropical, like Allnightlong, but the dry-down is cloying and deep, very wintery in my opinion. The oakmoss (that smoky accord) blends with Iso E Super and hedione; maybe there’s coumarin and galaxolide, even lily or violet, giving it a feminine touch. It doesn’t resemble anything else but fits the Black Orchid spectrum. If you’re a man and wear it, you can go blind with La Isla Blanca, though I prefer smelling it on a woman 🙂
