I was delighted to try it. The opening is sparkly and luminous; the citrus notes are very noticeable (I prefer bergamot over orange). Then comes a very powdery floral phase, striking because it doesn’t use iris, but a fusion of neroli, jasmine, and violet that smells very neat and clean, inviting you to get closer to smell it. In the dry down, you get woody and herbal notes reminiscent of a forest clearing, damp but dry. On my skin, it lasts 6-7 hours, with good projection for the first two hours and then a nice sillage. Ideal for spring and summer, office, daytime outings, and afternoons, both formal and informal, but not for going out at night. It smells like freshly laundered clothes. I loved its floral facet without it smelling feminine. Although citrus usually doesn’t last long on my skin, this one held up for 7 hours, which is a win.
In my opinion, disappointing. It’s fresh but goes almost unnoticed; more for relaxing at home or sleeping than for going out. To my nose, it leans more unisex than masculine. Not what I’m looking for in a men’s summer scent. That said, the quality is impeccable; everything is in its place.
