At first, it’s a beast, just like Monegal’s fruity scents. Intense red fruits with an almost artificial sweetness, reminiscent of the strawberry syrup on VIPS pancakes. It’s sharp, but in a good way; this guy cares about potency, and I appreciate that in a sea of perfumes that fade from my skin. The heart feels a bit weak, but it deserves more chances. For the first hour, I’m a total strawberry bomb.
The most feminine scent in the entire IBIZA collection, and perhaps the most impressive I’ve tried from Monegal. It opens with an energetic, sparkling fruity burst—very rich with red fruit notes—but dries down to something far more interesting: the namesake flowers barely linger, giving way to a potent patchouli with a resinous twist. It’s a curious fragrance, though it doesn’t quite convince me.
