I wasn’t going to try Gucci Guilty Eau, but I caved to the salespeople’s insistence :). It follows the same line as the original and Intense: starts citrusy with a spicy touch (not sure if pepper or cilantro), very fresh. Then comes the floral phase with jasmine and dries down to patchouli, musk, amber, and a mentholated hint. I don’t notice much difference from the other versions; if you already own one, there’s no need to buy this. It’s super versatile, works day or night, any season, and for any age.
The Guilty scent has become so vulgarized that it went from captivating me to just a simple like; luckily, I didn’t buy it. There are fragrances at Zara that are identical and even last longer. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
The scent of Guilty has become so common that it went from being a favorite to just ‘worth it.’ Luckily, I didn’t buy it; there are identical options at Zara that smell better and last longer. I wouldn’t recommend it.
I’ve been head over heels for the iris root for 3 years—that rough, citrus-sweet, and vegetal blend. Gucci Guilty Eau isn’t a direct ode like the Tommy 2005 Summer version, but it integrates the citrus notes brilliantly; the iris root gives it that perfect finishing touch, just as beto_ruiz said. The opening is a nervous, tonic, and energetic explosion of spiced citrus, until the buzz fades (about 2 hours, total 6), and then the soul of the mother fragrance emerges. I was surprised by its versatility and performance; it’s a safe bet for something fresh and elegant for any occasion, especially from spring to autumn, with a laid-back vibe that stands out from the crowd. The development has three phases: a nice citrus-woody middle and a dry-down in sweet wood from the base formula. Totally recommended for its great versatility.
I’ve been loving the iris root note for three years: sharp, citrus-sweet, and vegetal. Gucci Guilty Eau, while not an ode to the note like Tommy’s 2005 Summer version, integrates the citrus notes perfectly, where the iris root adds a special touch, just as @beto_ruiz correctly noted. The opening is a spicy, nervous, tonic, and energetic citrus; this proposal could even be called Gucci Guilty Energy due to its vigor. Once the tonic vibration fades (about 2 hours, totaling around 6 hours), the impressions of its mother emerge: enough elements to know that the citrus composition that crowns it is present. Gucci Guilty Eau surprised me with its performance and versatility; very good. I think it’s a safe bet if you want a fresh, elegant fragrance for any occasion, especially from spring to autumn, where its citrus contribution escapes the trend, delivering a laid-back yet elegant vibe. The energetic citrus torrent develops in three phases: in the middle, there’s a beautiful play of woody citrus accords that land at 6 hours in a dry base of sweet wood, which comes from its mother fragrance’s base formula. Recommended for its great versatility.
It reminds me of Dior Homme Eau for Men. I prefer the latter, though; it’s more elegant and has better longevity.
Howdy! Honestly, this fragrance dazzles with its character. It projects elegantly and invites you closer. It’s bold yet cautious, not too aggressive or spectacular; it usually asserts itself and creates that attraction effect. I loved its personality, which shows distinction and luxury. It’s not a cheap scent, but it’s absolutely worth every penny.
I really want to get this perfume; it seems like a good option for the office and reminds me a bit of Zegna.
I liked it. Honestly, the original Guilty isn’t half bad anymore, and this Eau follows the same path, just as @beto_ruiz said. This one is a bit sweeter and less bitter, probably due to the ‘Snowberry’ note, heh. It’s also slightly lighter. Think of it as a sweeter, lighter, and more polished version of the original. Mixed with the citrus, that sweet note feels a bit forced and artificial, but come on, nothing that clashes these days. Interestingly, both this and the original last quite well for me, which isn’t usual. Not a bomb, it lasts about 6-7 hours, but smells great for at least two hours while wearing it. Anyway, it was pleasant and has a minimum of presence for my nose.
This is the classic ‘date night’ scent you keep in the closet. It opens with a powerful, unpretentious citrus, but after 30 minutes, it shifts: sweet white flowers with a musky base that, over time, loses the sweetness and amps up the musk. It’s not a scent that marks territory; it’s soft, private, inviting you to get closer and maybe taste it. The trail is short, right on my extended arm, but it calls to you. For me, it’s a winning card for dates, totally unisex (looks just as good on a sexy girl as on a guy). Although it doesn’t fully captivate me or make a huge impact, it does what it does excellently. Recommended for seducing, going out to charm, and getting tangled in the sheets.
This is the classic fragrance for dates, the one you save for special occasions. It opens with a strong, unremarkable citrus. After 30 minutes, it shifts to sweet white flowers and a musky base that gains strength over time. It’s not potent or loud; it’s soft and intimate, inviting you to get closer and maybe even taste it. The sillage is like an arm’s length away. For me, it’s a winning card, totally unisex: I see it on a sexy girl or a guy in the same spot. While it doesn’t completely enchant me or blow me away, it excels at what it shows. Totally recommended for seduction and looking your best.
My husband owns this perfume, and it smells delicious. I like the scent; it feels elegant and sophisticated to me, so here’s the deal, guys: to conquer the girls, this or the Ray McQueen are the best options.
My husband wears this, and it smells amazing. It feels elegant and sophisticated, so guys, if you want to impress the ladies: go for this or the McQueen Ray.
First Gucci fragrance I’ve bought… what a delight. An unusual, distinctive scent that leaves a mark thanks to its elegance and that sophisticated touch that earns so many compliments. It’s a shame they’re no longer selling it when I returned. If you can get your hands on it, highly recommended.
Just pulled a 2016 batch; it projects like luxury. It lasts longer and has more presence than Zara’s Man Silver, which is about 90% identical, but this Gucci version is spicier. I’ve truly fallen in love.
It’s a gem: the longevity and sillage caught me off guard. A fresh, classic scent that screams luxury and class, perfect for the refined gentleman. Opens citrusy and settles into patchouli, ideal for any weather. It reminds me a bit of CK One at first, but then each scent takes its own path. 100% recommended.
