Finally, a Guilty without patchouli…
At first, a beautiful amaretto, but then a heavy patchouli kicks in and lasts for hours—that’s when I gave up. The dry down is silky with habanillo, coffee, and vanilla. If you like this description, it’s perfect; the quality is outstanding. It’s oily, very long-lasting, and clearly for cold weather, unisex.
Totally neutral, not feminine; I’d wear it as a man. Opens with a sweet citrus and roasted almond, not like Guerlain, but more like an undefined ripe fruit, maybe raspberry or blackberry. There’s a smoky touch, then coffee takes over with a tonka-vanilla base; very little liquor or rose. Definitely a night scent, not very versatile, but perfect for a cold winter day.
I have the mini version and only detect almond and coffee; the other notes don’t show up on my skin. It smells like tiramisu—I like it, but I wouldn’t wear it myself. Maybe I just need time to get used to it. If you enjoy coffee in perfumes, you’ll love this.
