A really great version of Shalimar. On my skin, it explodes with a huge, bright, creamy vanilla that, after about 15 minutes, gets more serious as the iris root and bergamot take over, with no floral notes in between. The typical animalic touch of Shalimar is very muted (but still there), making it a good option for any occasion, though I think it suits fall and spring best.

What a delicious fragrance! It starts with citrus, like freshly grated lemon—fresh and vibrant—then vanilla appears, very delicate and pleasant. The lemon fades slowly, lasting about 3 hours blended with the vanilla, before the last 3 hours are almost pure vanilla with a floral touch and a tiny hint of musk, all very soft. It’s the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The trail is moderate and lasts about 5-6 hours.

The lemon fades gradually, lasting about 3 hours mixed with the vanilla, and the final 3 hours are nearly pure vanilla with a floral note and a very light musk, all very soft. It’s the perfect blend of tartness and sweetness. Moderate sillage, lasting around 5-6 hours.
