On my skin, this perfume turned out to be too soft. The vanilla is very subtle. At one point, I only detected a bit of tonka bean and citrus, but not fresh and sparkling ones—rather muted. Like those times you taste an orange and it tastes more like water than anything else. Maybe it’s different in warmer weather, and I’ll definitely give it another try. For now, I’ll have to wait.

Beautiful fragrance. Natural, refined, and well-balanced vanilla. Soft projection and short longevity. The price is excessive.

  • I blind-tested it and at first it sounded similar to Shalimar (the EDP, of course, not exactly). It’s citrusy, vanilla-tinged, balsamic, and floral. I’m not the first to compare it to Shalimar. It has quality with an absolutely unjustified price. It also reminds me of things I’ve smelled before, especially at the start, because the dry-down is quite original: when the freshness seems to fade, the citrus returns and lingers. The vanilla and tonka are there from start to finish. It’s a simple scent without excess, but very well made. The performance isn’t spectacular, but it’s better than what I read.

  • The vanilla is sublime…😏👌🏻 Sublime Vanille is wonderfully simple: it opens with a light, refined, powdery vanilla, where lemon and white bergamot welcome you. This sweet-citrus tone is fantastic. It’s not cloying, scandalous, or artificial. As it dries down, the citrus takes over, making it a bit boring until it fades, with no other nuances. Very easy to wear, unisex, and with modest performance—exactly what I was looking for. Why do I need a vanilla that lasts 10-12 hours projecting strongly? When you’ve been wearing cowboy boots for hours, you want to take them off. Don’t you think? With Sublime Vanille, if you want to restart the journey, you just reapply without getting tired; it’s daily and functional. I’m not a vanilla fan, but here I love it. Light, elegant, discreet, and above all… functional. US$545 for 75 ml. It’s hard to swallow the price because it’s not spectacular, but it’s not made to blow your mind. Not all perfumes aim to “blow your lid.” That’s fantasy. I was looking for refinement, quality, and something that wouldn’t tire me out, and I found it. I searched for a “reasonable” price and paid US$350-, which is still high but worth it. One of the best from Creed alongside: Spice & Wood, Royal Oud, Green Irish Tweed, Jardin D’Amalfi, and Bois du Portugal. An 8 is fair ✨
