  • Woody Oud Maison Alhambra: Accurate inspiration of Tom Ford’s Oud Wood. It’s like a natural twin, almost impossible to distinguish, except for subtle differences in development. Unlike the original, here it doesn’t smell wild or fecal oud; in TF it’s more prominent and deep. The differences are minimal, which makes the original a bit more eccentric. It would be impossible to tell which is which; they are 98% identical. In performance, this projects better and lasts the same. Excellent for not spending too much and having an eccentric, luxurious scent. Scent: 10. Projection: Good for 2 hours. Longevity: Max 8 hours. Recommended.

Greetings! Excellent alternative if you want to know what TFOW smells like or don’t want to spend so much. This time Maison Alhambra actually surprised me; I already have dupes of LV that smell good but don’t reach 90% of the original. When I arrived at Woody Oud, I was impacted: I compared TFOW and this on skin, they are very similar in the opening; without a trained nose, I can’t tell them apart. The dry-down is similar too. Longevity: 4 to 6 hours, quite good for its price, since the original seems light to me. For the price, the similarity, the performance, and the nice packaging, it’s totally worth it.

Hey! Let’s go. This fragrance isn’t for everyone; it’s for you, something rare that requires research. But here’s the solution! Try Tom Ford Oud Wood; if you fall in love, buy this Maison Alhambra version. Woody Oud is a brutal dupe, risk-free. I tested 2022 batches of TF, and in terms of longevity, this one blows them away. It smells of wood, animalic notes, and elegance. It’s a scent for mature men, 30+. Try it and quickly grab this Lattifa version, as it’s in legal trouble, don’t ask why.

This is my first review; I just created the account and I’m a perfume fanatic. I’m writing this because I bought the fragrance after having a decant of TF Oud Wood and my head exploded. The scent is simple, elegant, and rich, worthy of admiration. Anyone who doesn’t know TF OW should try it: it smells like super clean wood, like with laundry soap powder, with subtle aldehydic touches and a sweet base that isn’t noticeable. The opening is bitter and strange, but it fades away in 15 minutes, leaving behind something elegant, sophisticated, and simple, clean, woody, with semi-powdery cardamom notes. Basically, this Woody Oud is the same. I don’t see any significant or negative differences. For $46, it’s a great deal if you like TF OW. Don’t hesitate to grab it, as they say TF is stepping in, and the clones Maison makes are quite rough, but the quality and resemblance are extraordinary. Get it before it sells out or the price goes up. Scent: 9.5/10.

First review since I just created my account and I’m a perfume fanatic. I bought this after testing a decant of Tom Ford Oud Wood and being blown away: it’s simple, elegant, and rich. It smells like super-clean wood, like baby powder, with subtle musky touches and a sweet base that isn’t noticeable. The opening is a bit bitter and strange, but after 15 minutes it disappears, leaving a sophisticated and clean scent with semi-musky notes like cardamom. Basically, this Oud Wood is identical; I don’t see any significant negative differences. At $46, if you like the original, it’s worth it. Don’t hesitate to buy it—they say Tom Ford is making really cheap clones now, and these from Maison are extraordinary. Get it before the price goes up. Scent: 9.5/10.

  • I don’t know the original Tom Ford, I bought this blind, and I’m encouraged to keep trying Maison Alhambra. This perfume screams elegance; it’s so rich without being invasive, it smells expensive. It’s unisex, leaning more masculine, but a woman with attitude wears it perfectly. It smells of wood, sandalwood, and balanced oud—a perfect combination of elegance. It works for the office, parties, or anything more elegant; it doesn’t vary much with the weather, but if someone approaches you, they’ll surely compliment you. For the price and scent: 9.5/10.

  • I don’t know the original TF. I bought this blind and I’m encouraged to keep testing Maison Alhambra. This perfume screams elegance from a mile away; it’s so rich without being invasive, it smells expensive. It’s unisex but leans masculine, though a woman with attitude wears it perfectly. It smells of wood, sandalwood, and oud, very balanced, a perfect combination of elegance. It’s suitable for the office, a party, or something more elegant; it doesn’t vary much with the weather, but if someone gets close, they’ll shower you with compliments. For the price and scent, 9.5/10.

  • The opening pulls back, super alcoholic and sharp. But hey, friend, once it dries down after 20 minutes… wow, I thought I wouldn’t like it and was about to toss it in the trash, but it’s a masterpiece. It’s so round and subtle; I get these airy vibes of myself and I’m like, haha, I smell so good. Don’t expect nuclear projection or an atomic bomb, but if someone catches a whiff of this, they won’t remain indifferent. I’m talking about my skin, which unfortunately destroys super perfumes really fast.

  • Currokontodo

Well… The opening is tricky; it doesn’t smell like wood or oud, and it sounds a bit feminine. But after 20 minutes, you already smell like a ‘decent guy.’ It’s not for bad boys, but for someone who behaves well, straight, and proper in any context. The best part is the dry-down: right now it smells powdery, without the animalic side, with a nice woody hint. It’s not sweet or harsh, it evolves coherently. Although I doubted it at first, now I enjoy the change. EDIT: It’s really good, different, I remembered something from the 80s. It’s enjoyable and has beastly longevity, even after I shower. It’s not mainstream, ideal to try before buying.

  • Currokontodo

Well… the opening is tricky; it doesn’t smell like wood or oud from a distance, and it almost smells a bit feminine. BUT after twenty minutes, you start smelling like a ‘decent guy.’ It doesn’t seem like a perfume for bad boys or adventurers; it projects an image of someone who always behaves well, very straightforward, not overly elegant, perfect for looking proper in any social context. The best part is the dry-down: it smells powdery, nothing animalic, with a distant but nice woody hint. It’s neither sweet nor harsh, it’s in between, sometimes seeming sweet before taking a coherent turn into wood. At first, I thought it wasn’t my type, but now I’m rethinking it because I really enjoy it. EDIT: It’s really good, different, not novel; I get the impression I’ve smelled something like this in the 80s. It’s enjoyable and has beastly longevity, even after a shower. It’s not mainstream, ideal for everyone, try it before buying.

  • I tried Tom Ford Oud Wood alongside this, and I have to say, they share the same DNA. The only difference is that this smells stronger (not in terms of power or projection) and is less refined, but it’s definitely very similar.

  • The opening is weak, super alcoholic and sharp. But watch out, friend: once it dries down after 20 minutes, it’s a masterpiece. I get a whiff and think, wow, I smell so good. Don’t expect projection or a nuclear bomb, but if someone gets close to you with this, they won’t be indifferent. I’m talking about my skin, which unfortunately destroys perfumes super fast.

  • This is quite similar to Oud Wood; I considered buying it, but this is a great low-cost alternative.

  • DO NOT BUY BLINDLY. The opening is quite bad, with a smell of low-quality alcohol. And the dry down is the typical dirty oud scent characteristic of the Lattafa house. And watch out, Lattafa has some that are simply spectacular, but this one isn’t. Greetings!

  • I’ve only had the chance to try Oud Wood in a decant, but when I tried the Maison Alhambra Woody Oud, it felt very similar, although with an extremely unpleasant opening. However, in the dry down, the perfume improves considerably. In my opinion, it’s a good alternative to Tom Ford Oud Wood.

  • IvanPerfumista

The opening is trash and doesn’t even look like the Tom Ford original. It’s the worst I’ve ever smelled in my life as a reviewer, I’m not making that up. The similarities don’t show up until thirty minutes later. I don’t know if it’s worth waiting that long after going through such a repulsive experience at the start. 5/10.

  • IvanPerfumista

The opening is disgusting and doesn’t resemble the Tom Ford original at all. The worst I’ve ever smelled as a reviewer. I’m not exaggerating. The similarities only start to emerge around the 30-minute mark. I don’t know if it’s worth the wait after going through such a repulsive opening experience. 5/10.

  • IsraCambray

First things first, there are 2 things to clarify: 1. The dry down is very similar to Tom Ford Oud Wood. 2. The opening of Maison Alhambra Woody Oud is extremely unpleasant. The first time I applied it to my arm, it smelled horrible and disgusting. That said, after 20 minutes, the magic begins and the scent becomes sublime. Recommended if you’re a fan of Tom Ford Oud Wood and don’t want to pay $300. In Mexico, you can find this for $40-$45. Is it worth it? Yes, aside from the opening which is very unpleasant, you get a perfume that’s 95% similar to Tom Ford Oud Wood.

  • I own it and agree with @IsraCambray; in the dry down, I sense the same base and heart as Tom Ford Oud Wood. There might be a slight nuance difference, but they smell like the wood of the same tree species. Comparing them, the Tom Ford has a slightly sweet opening, but this Maison Alhambra one lacks sweetness entirely; the opening is bitter/acidic (it reminds me of expired milk), which is unpleasant and made me hesitate to wear it in public the first time I sprayed it. After a few months of aging, the opening becomes more tolerable without losing its air of a muscle pain balm; the dry down is magical, clean, serious, classy, with low projection that fades quickly to skin-level, where it lasts several hours, occasionally throwing off a small burst.

  • JavierSantana

@RochaArmaf Hi friend, greetings, I understand. Regarding this perfume, my experience is similar to almost any Arabic clone: they achieve a very similar scent, but on the other hand, their ingredients tend to be very synthetic, so I wouldn’t recommend them personally. Right now, the wood and leather I have is Bentley For Men EDT, since buying the Intense blindly seems foolish given that many reviewers complain it’s too overpowering and overwhelming. Blessings, brother, wherever you are.

  • Andresimon

I own it, use it, and like it a lot; it’s very similar to Tom Ford Oud Wood and even more so to Versace Oud Noir, but I have to say all three are weak. Don’t expect to fill a room or even an elevator with them. When I wear the Maison Alhambra version, my partner told me today, ‘You haven’t put on perfume; it’s so weak,’ even though I sprayed 15 times on skin and clothes. They say the Tom Ford behaves the same way, while the Versace performs slightly better. Still, I’d rate all three 10/10.

  • Rick Gómez

This is the first oud fragrance that disappoints me. Maybe I had high expectations because of the listed notes—oud at the opening and oud in the dry down. Usually, oud fragrances work great on my skin with good longevity and projection. After several sprays, this scent is barely noticeable. I buy my perfumes from a reputable store that wouldn’t sell fakes, so it’s not a counterfeit issue.

  • Rick Gómez

It’s the first oud fragrance that truly disappoints me. Maybe I was too eager for the listed notes, oud at the start and oud at the end. Normally, oud perfumes work great on my skin, with good longevity and power. After several sprays, it’s barely noticeable. I bought it at a serious store that doesn’t sell fakes, so the problem isn’t that.

  • Don’t buy blindly. The opening is ultra-weird, and the evolution fills you with regret, followed by a trail that’s somewhere between natural and synthetic, formal and everyday. It’s not for sports; it gets heavy. Medium longevity, extra depending on various factors. Medium projection; the note pyramid is almost solid, it doesn’t dissipate completely. Use it on fresh or cold days; in the heat, it varies. It develops an adorable and formal side.

  • Very similar to Tom Ford Oud Wood, let’s say 75-80%. It lacks the finesse of the original; it’s like a rougher copy. But, well, Tom Ford wants to rip your eye out with the price, and this Arab scent is worth ten times less. I’ll stick with Woody Oud.

  • Contrary to the review below and having tried Oud Wood, this is the same, differing only in nuances of quality and refinement, but essentially it’s the same perfume with very similar longevity and trail. There’s no point spending 300 euros that last 6 hours with mediocre projection when there’s an identical option for 40 bucks. The scent is spectacular, perfect for layering if you want to.

  • A delight for the price. At first, I got 6 hours out of it, but after letting it macerate for one or two months, it turned into a bomb. Everyone talks about how TF is great and this is synthetic—blah, blah. TF perfumes also use synthetics and buy raw materials from the Middle East. It’s a lie that oud is produced in the West.

  • So close it’s almost a 1-to-1 match. When I bought it, it seemed harsh and didn’t convince me, but after almost two years, it’s nearly identical to TF. This one feels more soapy, like detergent; it doesn’t last as long, but its 5 hours are enough for me. My friends like it, my girlfriend doesn’t mind but says it smells like a stick LOL. Rating: 6.9/10.

  • At first (the first 10 minutes), it seems low quality, but once it dries, it reminds me of Tom Ford’s Oud Wood (though it’s not a 100% dupe). Even Versace’s Oud Noir didn’t seem like a dupe to me; it felt unisex. The DNA in these clones is far from the original, which is why I appreciate TF more. In short, for Maison Alhambra’s fractioned price, there’s nothing to complain about, but it falls short.

  • Ww301168rR

I’m surprised because I see good ratings, and although I’m a fragrance fan, I absolutely hate this one. I don’t like the opening; I love oud perfumes, but I can’t smell the oud in this.

  • Ww301168rR

I’m surprised because I see good ratings for this perfume, but despite being a huge fan of fragrances, I don’t like this one at all. The opening doesn’t work for me, even though I love oud perfumes; I just can’t smell the oud in this one.

  • Great clone or inspiration for Oud Wood. For more refined noses, there might be a difference, but to me, it smells exactly like Tom Ford’s.

  • From start to finish, it’s a ‘dirty’ wood very similar to a good oud, with a clean and elegant touch. I’m surprised by the quality and longevity for the price. I don’t think it’s for daily wear, though, because that dirty base can get tiring. Totally recommended.

  • Rich scent; the oud and sandalwood are very noticeable, and the trail is potent. Lasts 4 to 6 hours before settling into a soft skin scent. For the price and quality, I give it a 9/10. 😀
