  1. The scent is top-notch, but the longevity and projection are non-existent. Even though I bought it for under €15, I probably should have saved the money. A few years later, I tried the Maison Alhambra clone of Oud Wood, which smells the same but performs much better in longevity and projection, making it clearly superior to this Oud Oak.

  2. I haven’t tried the original Tom Ford Oud Wood, but I do have a sample of Thameen’s Carved Oud, and they smell quite similar. That said, this one lacks the spicy note and depth of a high-quality blend like Thameen’s. Still, the DNA is there. I liked it, and for under €20 for 100ml, I don’t mind that it doesn’t last long.
