Descripción
White Tea by Elizabeth Arden is a woody musky floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Guillaume Flavigny, and Caroline Sabas. The top notes reveal a marine freshness with fern, statice, and mandarin; the heart unfolds white tea, white iris, and yerba mate; while the base notes land on exotic woods, ambrette musk, tonka bean, and amber.

This perfume is an absolute delight. I hope they never discontinue it. It has some underlying masculine perfume notes, but at the same time, it’s super feminine, fresh, and has a bit of woodiness at the base. It brings an absolute sense of well-being. Besides using it all the time, I’m putting it on my pillow because it makes me happy instantly. You have to wear it frequently (in my case, every 3 or 4 hours), but the feeling is so lovely and the price so low compared to the fragrance quality that it seems worth it. If you know similar fragrances, recommendations would be great.
They gave it to me, and when I first applied it, I didn’t like it; I smelled alcohol. I let it sit for a while, and it transformed into something beautiful. Definitely, my notes are marine, and you can feel them alongside the white tea; that’s what stands out most when wearing it. Even though its longevity on skin isn’t the best, this perfume is worth applying more and more. Its scent represents softness and tenderness, just like its white packaging. So far, I’ve used it to go to work, and it looks excellent, especially in the mornings.
This perfume isn’t a masterpiece or anything, yet it’s enchanting. After the initial alcohol impression fades upon spraying, the scent settles and becomes a second skin. Fresh, comforting, cozy. Zero intrusive, zero annoying. I’d categorize it as an ‘anti-perfume’ because it’s what I wear when I don’t want to wear perfume (if that even makes sense). Not one of my top picks, but it’s definitely a ‘must-have’ in the bag for its versatility and how it adapts to any daily occasion. It’s a very intimate fragrance that oozes simplicity without sacrificing elegance.
Well, unlike others, this is one of my favorites. It’s fresh but intense at the same time, different. On me, it smells clean and lasts at least 4 hours, plus it fixes very well on the skin.
For me, what characterizes this perfume is freshness, wrapped in lush green vegetation full of ferns and bamboo. Smelling it creates a sense of cleanliness; it’s elegant yet denotes simplicity. Special for hot climates, strictly summer. Then, some lovely musk notes remain, like pure talc. It’s a perfume for all ages, from young people to contemporary adults. It was my first Elizabeth Arden fragrance, and it hasn’t disappointed me.
White Tea by Elizabeth Arden. It’s a clean, green, and talc-like fragrance. Its evolution is a surprise: it starts green and then, after a few hours, turns into a soft, talc-like, amber scent. Longevity is 5-6 hours depending on the amount. The trail is moderate at first and becomes soft after a couple of hours. Definitely a personal joy scent. Something about this fragrance reminds me of my childhood and summers spent hours in the pool or in parks with lots of vegetation. It gives a sense of freedom. Highly recommended and at a great price.
I love when a perfume transports me to a place, and this scent does exactly that. I can see myself walking through a fresh forest until I reach a beach with a crystal-clear lagoon and the sound of a waterfall. And it lasts a long time! I’d buy it again without a doubt.
A perfume that smells ‘clean.’ Soft and fresh, like having tea by the seaside. I doubt it would bother anyone; it’s zero intrusion. On my skin, it leaves a soft trail and lasts about 6 hours straight. What I feel most is the tea, the marine notes, and the iris. I can’t quite find the wood, or maybe they remind me of wet trees because the freshness dominates. Still, the fragrance is warm enough to make you feel scented without being intense. I think it’s more for daytime and informal use.
To me, it smells clean, fresh, and way more expensive than it costs. It could be unisex; I wear it on hot days because it feels ‘cool’ and refreshing. I could spot it from the street; it seems like a great option since few people use it, and it has its own personality. It works for both formal and informal occasions, though I limit it to daytime. The opening has ‘punch,’ with more citrus notes coming through. Later, the notes blend, and I perceive cold tea with a slight soft floral/woody touch. The longevity is quite good for a light aroma.
It smells clean and crisp, but evolves without being linear. It’s like a spring breeze filled with greenery by the sea. At first, it’s fresh and soft; after a few minutes, you notice tea sap with calone touches, and by an hour, it’s a musky amber. On my skin, it’s ideal for daytime: work with a button-down and jeans or running errands. Everyone will love smelling you on it. I see it as unisex; on a man, it works well if you’re looking for something relaxed, clean, and ambiguously charming. The price is decent, and the performance is moderate, so it doesn’t hurt to reapply. A good fragrance, perfect right after a shower.
Wow, what a surprise I got with this fragrance; I’m blown away. A few years ago I had Au The Blanc by Bvlgari and I think it’s exquisite. The other day I compared the notes of this Eau de Toilette with the Eau Parfumée Au Thé Blanc by Bvlgari and only four matched, almost all at the end, so I thought: I don’t know how people say they’re similar. But they are similar, and quite a bit. I’m not an expert at naming all the notes, but I know if they’re similar or not. Although the Bvlgari one seems creamier with a tiny sweet touch, the Elizabeth Arden one could be a good option if you like the Bvlgari one but can’t afford it. That said, I feel the Arden one is a bit bitter; maybe it’s because of the yerba mate.
I’m on my third 100ml bottle. It’s a pleasant, fresh, and neat fragrance, a little powdery as some mentioned. It reminds me a lot of Bvlgari’s scent but at a fraction of the price. The longevity isn’t world-class, but it’s not an EDP, so that’s understandable. In my opinion, it works for any season and occasion. 100% recommended.
As mentioned below, it evolves: it doesn’t stay just green tea like Green Tea. It starts salty, greeny from the fern, and watery, a bit intense and feminine, then turns sweet, green, and unisex. The green tea note becomes more prominent, and in the dry down it ends up sweet and ambered. People complimented me on it quite a bit; it has good sillage, and I like it more in its heart notes. It lasts quite a bit on clothes, clean, fresh, and refined. My first impression was ‘bleeh, it’s not that much,’ but when I stepped out of the shower and it kept evolving, I loved it.
I stumbled upon this fragrance by chance; it seems a bit citrusy yet greeny to me, I don’t know how to explain it, haha. I like it but don’t use it very often (not every day).
It reminds me of Hermes gardens.
I love this fragrance; it feels super fresh, smells so clean 😍. It lasts all day on my skin and much longer on clothes; I would definitely buy it again.
A clean, elegant, and fresh fragrance that smells like freshly laundered sheets. It’s my productivity perfume, perfect for getting up early and catching up on things. I bought it early in the fall, but it feels perfect for all year round. Great longevity for an EDT, especially on clothes. Definitely my best blind buy.
White Tea arrived via swap: I traded a bottle of Edén I’d never use and was gifted this instead. What a joy! It’s an impeccable white floral, without any carnality or wildness, yet not naive either. It smells like the city, whether on vacation, running errands, or working all day. Is it a ‘civilized’ cleanliness effect? Anyway, it’s a pleasant surprise in Arden’s tea line. I agree with the website on the accords: the opening sparkles with a watery touch over a base of flowers, tea, and woods. At first, it smells clean, then the florals emerge, reminding me of Kenzo Amour Florale (though I haven’t smelled it in years)—energetic and lively, with the astringency of tea keeping it dry. After a few hours, the woods take over until the end. On my skin, the opening is a bit more feminine, but it becomes unisex later. It lasted a long time, around 10 hours. Today I layered it with White Patchouli and it turned out fabulous.
I absolutely love White Tea! It’s the fragrance that stands out the most on my skin and the one with the best longevity from Elizabeth Arden. I will definitely be wearing this forever.
Clean white floral and tea, with that subtle scent that comforts and leaves a distant herbal echo, like a very neat chamomile (I guess it’s mate). It’s purity sketched with freshly opened, innocent, and elegant flowers. It’s not a neutral or synthetic cleanliness, but an ode to the small things for everyday life—delicate and versatile. Another hit from Elizabeth Arden that deserves a spot on my list.
I tried it yesterday in Alto Palermo. They applied it generously several times. What attracted me most was its purity and luminosity. Tranquility of small flowers in the early morning light, when there’s still a trace of nocturnal serenity. It’s an iris, tea, and amber fragrance. It reminds me of the series Kenzoki, inspired by rice vapors, tea, white flowers, and aquatic essences, designed for relaxation and meditation. Far from the city’s hustle, something sublime of nature in this white bottle, with a simple and loving proposal, like a subtle dew.
One of the best designer fragrances on the market, without a doubt. So versatile, elegant, and of good quality. Please, give it a chance, not on paper but on skin. It has a wonderful development and the price is very good. Simply wonderful. Let’s not let this jewel die!!!!
On my skin, it smells like creamy lemon at first. The citrus stands out, perhaps for very hot climates, in a refreshing way. The advantage is that it’s not a dry citrus; thanks to the woody base, it gains body and becomes more delicate and wearable. I like it; it has good fixation and longevity, but I expected to feel more of the tea, the marine notes, and the fern. I’ll try it on humid days; maybe it will have more body. Update: today it’s humid and hot, and to my surprise, I could feel other notes. The soft mandarin, barely sweet, and the incredibly fresh fern surprised me. The white tea and musk make a delicious combination. Definitely, on my skin, it’s for humid, heavy, and hot climates; it shines so much more! I want to find the yerba mate; it will appear someday.
Buy it blind. The first time I thought it was super common, as if I had already smelled it. Then, after several uses, I grew to love it for its versatility and longevity; on me, it’s fantastic. It’s an EDT, and I wore it for three summers in a row. It smells clean and fresh, ideal for hot weather. Without a doubt, it can’t be missing from my collection.
A peculiar, confusing, and risky fragrance. The opening is marine and aromatic due to the fern, with a light citrus touch of mandarin. In the heart, the green and aromatic accord of white tea and yerba mate makes it fresh and subtly spicy. Then comes the iris, leading it to a powdery accord, contrasting antagonistically. As it dries, the citrus and marine notes disappear; the iris, tea, and yerba settle, highlighting the woody notes, musk, and an earthy aura with that sweet, creamy, ambered background from the amber and tonka bean.
What a rich scent; the opening and dry-down were amazing. It’s fresh/musked but not the typical feminine kind, almost unisex. Peculiar, distinct, soft, white, and clean. It’s hard to distinguish the stages because several fresh ‘iris-like’ tea notes interact with an interesting body, probably from the yerba mate. That musky feeling embraces you with occasional citrus sparkles. Ideal for everyday life, the office, white shirts, sunny days, and luminous sunrises. It has a sophistication that becomes clear with use.
It’s subjective, but it smells like a SPA, clean and serene. It has a touch of creamy tea and a subtle citrus opening that disappears quickly. Then it leaves a linear, constant halo that lasts about 6-8 hours. In my case, I think it suits other girls better. It inspires me to imagine a girl just out of the shower in a white linen dress, strolling by the sea at dusk. It sounds dreamy, but that’s how it is in my imagination. However, on me, it feels contradictory, somewhat artificial, not citrusy, fruity, tea-like, or floral. Maybe due to the mate. It doesn’t suit me, but I use it to break the monotony and be that linen girl. Fabulous price, worth trying, but not blindly.
White and luminous. Clean. It has a wonderful iris, powdery but without being overpowering. It’s a personal perfume, not very projecting, giving the sensation of clothes dried in the sun or white laundry. Simple yet sophisticated at the same time. Super unisex.
I bought it as a gift for someone who loves fresh scents; after trying more expensive options, I ended up with this. It’s perfect, clean, citrusy, and feminine, with an ideal balance. I hate that almost everything just smells like lemon and nothing else, but not this one. It has luxury quality at a fair price, making it an infallible gift. Simple and easy to like, I even love it myself despite being a fan of sweet perfumes 😊. Smells like just-showered, a sure hit.
It smells delicious but is super soft, very green, clean, and aromatic. More green than white 🤍 I wouldn’t buy it again because, even though it smells good, it’s too faint and disappears in seconds when it’s hot.
Luminous and innocent aroma. I smell like a walking spa… Plus, it reminds me of the ‘Óptima’ conditioner line from ‘Llongueras’, so it’s great for hair, but for spraying all over… I wouldn’t dare. I don’t find any evolution; white tea and bergamot are always the stars. Pros! It relaxes, harmonizes, conveys peace, lasts hours, I see it as unisex and cosmopolitan, however it’s not for me; I need a perfume to spark that vital fire. I can’t stop thinking of Julio Iglesias in his white shirt in Punta Cana. 🕯️ 3/10.🍂
The perfume of clean white sheets. If this isn’t to your liking for frequent use, a small bottle for the back of the closet is mandatory, because this is a reset; when I’m saturated of sweet, oriental fragrances or my beloved ‘sweet & spicy’ scents, I grab this and it works perfectly in any season, it can’t be missing. Also, this EDT seems unisex to me, unlike the EDP which seems more feminine, having a slightly sweeter base.
It smells clean, fresh, and creamy all at once. It relaxes me the moment I smell it. The big plus is that this summer not a single mosquito bit me, which is normal since I usually get swarmed. Just for that, it’s worth it, even for walks in nature. Those who try it in winter or autumn and don’t like it, I recommend trying it again in warm seasons. Some fragrances need their season and their place. The same perfume and season can be different indoors versus at the coast.
I approached it seeking freshness and cleanliness, but on my skin it feels earthy, warm, and humid. I don’t recommend buying blindly and I don’t think it’s for those seeking luminous aromas. Poor projection on skin but good longevity on clothes. Definitely save it for autumn or winter.
If it’s a very fresh scent, it smells clean, like a spa… but… it doesn’t last, maybe half an hour at most. I’ve tested it in different climates and nothing; even floor cleaner lasts longer. What a pity; with about 3 hours of longevity, it would be worth buying another bottle.
A fresh and green delight, but once it leaves the bottle, it’s gone. It doesn’t last at all.
Also very pretty; until now, I only knew the Florale. Like its sister, it disappears quickly, which is a shame because they are soft scents, like a subtle perfumed cream. I prefer the white tea line over the green one, but it also doesn’t last long, which is the bad part; if it did, they’d be my daily wearers. I bought this for under €18 on sale and I’m happy. It lasts longer than the Florale and the scents are very similar despite different notes. These are now my go-to’s. I agree with another opinion: it’s for when you don’t want to wear perfume, something that won’t overwhelm. You don’t go unnoticed because it’s subtle; I’ve already received compliments.
If you’re looking for that luxury cream scent that actually lasts, I’ve got it: Kedu by Memo Paris. Obviously, the prices aren’t comparable.
I got this as a gift; otherwise, I wouldn’t have chosen it. I don’t dislike it, I use it almost daily after a shower for relaxed days because it smells clean, like a moisturizer, but it doesn’t say much more to me. The notes are attractive, but that sharp iris makes it more of a ‘cologne,’ with no evolution—literally half an hour. For me, it’s for feeling fresh, running errands, and smelling clean, nothing more. It would work well as a unisex kids’ cologne. That’s all.
Totally cute: smells like freshly ironed sheets, fresh with a hint of starch. The downside is it doesn’t last long on my skin, so try it in-store and compare it to the EDP, which lasts longer for me. It’s super versatile, great for anything, and you always look good in it.
