I was able to test a sample on my arm when I saw it in a store. In fact, it’s much less versatile than the EDT version, more vanilla-like and powdery; I’d say it’s for temperate/cold weather and evening/night use. Don’t buy blindly.
It’s not more intense than its father, but more powdery. I assume the iris note gives it that ‘starchy’ touch, more bearable in cold climates than warm ones. I’d say it projects better on the skin. For the price, it’s decent; it’s a generic aroma that most people like, but not everyone, so I recommend testing it on your skin before buying blindly like the EDT.
Pretty good, very energizing. To me, it’s like a mix of several DNA profiles: Givenchy’s Gentleman but this Benetton version is softer and more balsamic; the Le Male DNA due to its prominent lavender and mint, perhaps closer to Le Male Elixir; the Armani Code DNA, especially the Absolu; and I also find a certain similarity to Guerlain’s L’Homme Ideal EDT, likely due to the shared leather and vetiver. I fully recommend it. Its final dry-down is marvelous and addictive.
Similar to Homen Neo, they say. I own it, it’s not Iris Makeup. I use it a lot for work and it works, unlike Intima which can be annoying. Too bad the longevity is average; you need several sprays. It works, but some Arabic fragrances are better (though some aren’t), but this one is fine. 40 pesos in installments is reasonable, and I love the bottle even though it’s awkward to hold for application. Edit: It macerates, lasts longer, and the scent changes; I’m not sure if for better or worse.
Similar to Homen Neo, I own it. It’s not Iris Maquillage. I use it a lot for work and it works; it doesn’t feel too intimate or overwhelming. It’s a shame the longevity is average; you have to apply several sprays. It gets the job done, but some Arab fragrances are better (though this is fine). 40 lucas on installments is a good deal, and I really like the bottle, even if it’s a bit awkward to hold for application. Edited: It macerates, lasts longer, and the scent changes; I’m not sure if for better or worse.
Navigating the iris trail in men’s perfumery, from the wonderful Dior Homme to the sweet Valentino, Gentleman Intense, Code Absolu, and some Guerlain Ideal, the small and humble Tribe Intense by Benetton, lacking much imagination but capable of inspiration, summarizes those masterpieces in a cheap, diluted way. And it’s good. It’s a fragrance for daily youthful use, sweet, slightly elegant, and seductive for these times of tight budgets. It starts with a green citrus note smoothed by the fresh artemisia, then soft cinnamon adds warmth until the iris and lavender go head-to-head. In the middle, it becomes resinous, bright, slightly woody, then dries down powdery and addictive, chocolatey with a fresh leather note from mint and palo santo caramel. It has nothing to do with the previous Tribe inspired by Invictus; this new one leans toward autumn, though I think it doesn’t handle polluted night air well. Worth it, a great surpassing launch.
I really love the scent; it feels exquisite. Too bad about the performance; if it lasted a bit longer, it would be perfect.
Exquisite perfume. Sweet iris with lavender and a touch of mint. It has a strong resemblance to Le Male Le Parfum for a fifth of the price. I don’t think it’s as similar to Code Parfum or Givenchy’s Gentleman. Lasting power is about two hours, but you can’t ask for more at this price; just carry a decant to refresh.
Terrible blind buy. I was completely swayed by how cool the bottle looked.
It holds a special place for me; it’s where my perfume journey began. It was my fourth bottle since the first three were gifts, and this was the first I bought myself. Setting nostalgia aside, the scent isn’t bad—I like it—but I feel it’s quite common. If you’re looking for something unique, this isn’t it. However, it has a major pro: excellent price and a decent trail. Overall, it’s a great perfume with a good scent and a fantastic price point.
I have a special affection for this fragrance; it’s where my perfume journey began. It was my fourth bottle since the first three were gifts, and this was the first one I bought myself. Setting nostalgia aside, the scent isn’t bad—I like it—but I feel it’s quite common. If you’re looking for something unique, this isn’t it. However, it has a major pro: excellent price and a great sillage. In short, it’s a fantastic perfume with a good aroma at a very fair price.
I think any Zara or Antonio Banderas perfume lasts longer. The scent is pleasant but nothing like the similar ones mentioned here.
One of those ‘3B’s’: good, beautiful, and cheap. It screams winter. Perfect for a 19-year-old’s daily wear in the cold. Approximate price $29-32 with good performance (3-4 hours projecting). DO NOT BUY BLINDLY.
To my nose, this is special. I own perfumes five times more expensive, yet this always captivates me. The notes have a spectacular balance; the opening is slightly herbal, nothing over the top, smelling of petrichor thanks to the carrot seeds—a wet, fresh vibe. It lasts 5-10 minutes. In the heart, the aromatic and floral notes shine, with iris and lavender standing out during the mid-stage. Notes like elemi add depth and a minimal sweetness; it’s woody, though I couldn’t detect the guaiac. It lasts 2-3 hours with a moderate trail. The base finishes with a clean aroma; I don’t feel the licorice is the main note since it lacks an intense, sweet, or earthy character. Instead, it blends with the iris from the heart, creating a curious suede-and-talc clean scent. The trail lasts 2-3 hours personally. I feel this is more for personal enjoyment since the projection isn’t the best, making it perfect for nighttime use and cold, rainy weather where it makes you feel cozy and wrapped up. Occasion: casual and unisex for me. Scent: 10/10 (if you like iris), Trail/Projection: 5.5/10, Price: 8/10, Versatility: 7/10, Longevity: 5.5/10.
Economical, smells clean, floral, and powdery. For me, it lasts more than 7-8 hours on the skin, though the trail is personal after 2 hours. Strong opening. Trail: 8/10, Longevity: 7/10, Scent: 5.5/10. I don’t recommend many sprays indoors; it gets too intense.
Special to my nose; I own perfumes five times more expensive, and this always captivates me. Balanced notes: soft herbal opening, petrichor from carrot seeds (wet smell). Lasts 5-10 minutes. Aromatic floral heart with iris and lavender that shine. Elemi adds depth and a touch of sweetness; I don’t detect guaiac. Lasts 2-3 hours with a moderate personal trail. Clean base, not intense licorice, but a blend with iris giving a suede and talc aroma. Lasts 2-3 hours as a personal trail. It’s for personal enjoyment, low projection, ideal for night, cold, and rain. Occasion: casual, unisex male. Scent: 10/10 (if you like iris), Trail: 5.5/10, Price: 8/10, Versatility: 7/10, Longevity: 5.5/10.
It’s identical to Natura’s Humor Estelar; this one came out later, so it’s clearly inspired by the earlier one. The Natura version is more intense and lasts longer.
It’s a marvel, spectacular aroma for the price (I already own two bottles). I use it for sleeping or working out.
I really like it; it smells clean and I’ve even gotten compliments.
For the price, it’s great for a sunny day—not for the beach, but for heat. It has sweetness and aroma, smells clean, perfect for everyday wear.
Cheap and delicious. Ideal for winter if you’re looking for a clean, floral, woody, and herbal scent. The trail is more personal. 7.5/10.
Cheap and delicious. Ideal for a winter day if you want to smell clean. It’s floral, woody, and herbal. The trail is a bit more intimate. 7.5/10.
I bought it because it came as a gift with another one, but once I started wearing it, I didn’t like it. The smell was too sharp and synthetic.
I bought it as part of a gift pack, but it disappointed me once I tried it: it smells very sharp and synthetic.
