The correct term is birch tar. Someone correct Fragantica with a damn thing
First time trying this brand, the Vince Camuto Homme. Technically, it’s herbal with a citrus touch; then the heart and base notes emerge, highlighting cypress, lavender, hyssop, and musk. It’s a pity I don’t notice the gin note like the others do. Projection is medium-low, and the longevity isn’t impressive either. Ideal for the office in the morning because it’s not overpowering. It won’t make you stand out in the crowd, but it does its job: smell good. Best for autumn without much cold and spring without too much heat. In short, it’s a typical herbal fragrance for morning use, formal or casual, that keeps you scented for a while. Cheers.
Unlike others, I believe this fragrance stands out; it’s not as common, and honestly, it always lasts longer and projects better than expensive mass-market brands. It stays with me all day with a persistent note that just won’t fade. I can’t quite define it, but it smells clean and crisp, where fennel stands out most (in my opinion), with a musky base. This is my perception, as I tested it with someone I live with, and she noticed it too even when I wasn’t wearing it.
