Delicious… SPECTACULAR!
Fresh and versatile for everything. Citrusy and clean opening thanks to the ambroxan. Stays stable with acceptable longevity for its type (+4 hours). To me, it’s very similar to Chanel’s Egoiste Platinum.
Waiting for Black Jeans to return, Versace Man drops these knock-offs that smell like lemonade with an expensive label. If you like the classic, go for that instead. This unnecessary scent is a sweet citrus. It smells nice, but no more. Nothing special compared to everything Versace has released in years.
Versace Man Eau Fraîche Extreme is woody, aromatic, and ambered. The opening is fresh, citrusy, and floral, but far from the original style. It then develops fougère accords like sage, lavender, and geranium, with an intense ambroxan base and little else. It’s more versatile than the original, suitable for any season, whereas the classic is only for spring and summer. Great for casual outings or the office. Lasted over 8 hours with average sillage. Those of us waiting for a more intense version with the characteristic starfruit and marine notes were left wanting; it seems more like a flanker of Dylan Blue. It’s not bad, but I found it boring. I prefer Dylan Blue or the original Lacoste.
Another fragrance scam. That’s why Arab houses are eating them raw and without salt.
Major disappointment. Since YSL launched MYSLF, tons of similar perfumes have appeared. This one starts like the Versace classic but after 30 minutes smells like MYSLF with something aromatic. The scent is simple and old-fashioned. Longevity and projection are poor: one-hour projection and three-hour longevity. If you want this scent, buy the classic and mix it with Dubai Nights Midnight Armaf; it smells the same and lasts longer.
Major disappointment. Since YSL launched MYSLF, tons of similar perfumes have appeared. This one tries to be one of them, starting like the Versace classic but drying down to smell like MYSLF mixed with something aromatic after 30 minutes. The scent is simple and nothing new. Longevity and projection are poor: one-hour projection and a maximum three-hour longevity. If you want this scent, buy the classic and mix it with Dubai Nights Midnight Armaf; it smells the same and lasts longer.
Versace Man Eau Fraîche is a blue that doesn’t stand out; it goes for safe bets. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t innovate and smells like a mix of its classic, Dylan Blue, and a touch of YSL Y. It has geranium, ambroxan, and citrus. It’s decent, but if you already own those, it’s not worth it. I prefer Dylan Blue. Rating: 7.2/10, good scent and decent performance.
