The richest vanilla I’ve ever tried, no tonka, smells like natural vanilla. The only downside is that it’s very subtle and you have to be close to the skin to enjoy it, plus the price.
I had high hopes. I acknowledge Le Labo’s quality, but in the end, it smells like vanilla and incense, like a stick from a metaphysical shop.
I usually don’t like pure vanilla perfumes, but this one changed my mind. I love it; I wear it just to feel comfortable, for sleeping, or relaxing, and for special events I mix it with others to add elegance.
Soft and subtle vanilla with a citrus note that barely shows up at first. Not much sillage, but it stays close to the skin for up to five hours. It’s rich and refined, though I don’t think it’s worth the high price. I bought a decant and won’t be spending on the 100ml bottle.
