I only see it as a sharp sea scent that dominates everything. From the start, that salty, wet note takes over and leaves no room for anything else. It’s the kind of aroma you’d barely notice on the beach, as if it were just part of the surroundings. It’s not ugly, but I don’t like it; there’s no contrast or evolution that holds my attention. This is all in the opening, and although it lingers a bit, once it settles, I can detect the coconut and rose from the notes list; I’d love to smell the vanilla, but my nose can’t pick it up. I understand why others might like it: it conveys freshness, naturalness, and a nostalgic, relaxing maritime authenticity. It’s not for me, but it has its audience.
