So happy to be the first to review this gem by Yann Vasnier. They might sound exaggerated, but smelling it and seeing it in action is a whole other story: it’s a perfume with 86% natural ingredients, sensual, intoxicating, hypnotic, and super elegant. True, more women will likely buy it (thanks to the tuberose), but I’ve been searching for a fragrance where tuberose is the star without breaking the bank, and I absolutely love its scent—it captures both the perfumed and floral tuberose so well, something rarely discussed here on Fragrantica. Tuberose Ylang of Pashmina is a pure floral explosion, almost in ‘beast mode.’ It’s exceptional, natural, and lasts 7 to 8 hours with a trail and projection of 2 meters for over an hour and a half. Edit: the tuberose and ylang-ylang are masterfully crafted. If I close my eyes, hold a bunch of freshly cut tuberose flowers in one hand and the bottle cap in the other, I’m sure you won’t be able to tell which is which.
