Trussardi Eau de Parfum by Trussardi is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2021, this composition was created by Julie Massé and Violaine Collas. The top notes unfold with neroli, Italian mandarin, and tomato; the heart reveals lavender, jasmine, and dahlia; while the base notes complete the olfactory pyramid with suede, violet, and patchouli.

I’ve only tested it once on skin, but I can say: – The opening is exquisite, a sweet fruity-floral combination (not cloying) that’s very pleasant. It’s not excessively complex, but it has something that catches the eye, perhaps that tomato note. Be careful, don’t be scared… it doesn’t smell like edible tomato. However, I think that tomato leaf note is the “culprit” behind that addictive scent. – It doesn’t project much and didn’t last terribly long, about 4-5 hours… for an EDP it could be better (or worse). – Especially in its dry down, both my partner and I found it totally unisex. Maybe it’s the leather and lavender combination that gives that sensation.

It was a birthday gift for a good friend. It’s a floral-wood, an innovative and surprising novelty for women’s perfumery, nothing like the Italian elegance exception we’re used to (I’m a huge fan of Trussardi Uomo 2011). It has many facets: the opening is very feminine and doesn’t carry roses; I noticed a tomato leaf note, like in Shurah, but on a powdery path of white flowers and citrus. It continues with jasmine and gardenia, then moves toward woods with violet that clash with leather, revealing something new: a woman who knows what she wants, isn’t an object, and is very feminine at the same time. A novelty that could become a classic. It’s very versatile; my friend was delighted when she tried the 10ml decant and immediately removed the wrapping paper to discover that beautiful box—it’s not cardboard. Very good.

  • I have a vial of this new Trussardi that I initially discarded. It seemed strange to me, and I didn’t have the patience. Today, while reviewing my box of vials, I gave it another shot. At first, it still seemed like an undefined mess, like a rubber doll straight out of the package. After a while, the notes settled, and unlike many current perfumes that go from fresh to cloying, here the sober freshness appears after the first impression and stays elegant until the end, with a floral sweetness that isn’t sickly. It’s different from the usual ones, which is a relief. Longevity is average, and the projection is subtle but not bad (don’t expect the power of the vintage Trussardi Donna, which it vaguely resembles as a sweeter, more floral little sibling with a softer patchouli). I find it appropriate for cool summers or mild mornings, and I’m sure it will work in winter too. It has an accessible elegance that makes it versatile. I’m pleasantly surprised.

  • I’m back to talk about this 90ml Trussardi bottle I eventually kept. The bottle is gorgeous—it reminds me of YSL’s Rive Gauche but in pink. I love its cylindrical shape and how you can see the contents; nothing is worse than not knowing how much is left or having to squeeze out the last drops. It’s a pleasant perfume that makes me feel good (and yes, it has that female empowerment vibe the ads promise), and even my boyfriend, who usually doesn’t care about my daily scents, told me he likes it. I imagine it won’t bother anyone, at most they’ll just say nothing. As an EDP, the longevity is a bit weak by today’s standards, and it’s not a projection bomb either, so you need to apply it well. The price is moderate, and considering the performance, it might not be the best daily option in the mid-range; I don’t know if I’ll regret it… EDIT: Nope, no regrets. It’s a discreet but very pleasant companion, like a good-natured person you’re happy to spend the day with. The bottle is wonderful and feels luxurious—I love it!

Soft and tender. I bought it in summer and liked it, but I saved it for winter. I wasn’t wrong; it’s much cozier in the cold. Sweet without being cloying, woody and powdery, easy to wear and discreet. The diffuser is a marvel, leaving a fine mist. I love the bottle. Today it rained, I showered, put on this perfume, and sat by the window reading. It’s like being wrapped in a warmly comforting blanket.

  • The king of modern powdery scents. Discreet but with presence. The flowers blend with a hint of leather that gives it that special touch. I wear it on cool days and imagine it will gain more depth in winter. I discovered the brand and a versatile fragrance that accompanies without invading.

  • It seems like the lavender and jasmine overpower everything else. I only detect the patchouli, and as it dries down, the suede remains, leaving a skin scent of lavender plus suede. Lavanda lovers will like it.

  • At first, it smelled like a fruit punch that didn’t match the description, but it vanished quickly. It becomes powdery, shifts to soft lavender and sweet suede, with patchouli in the background adding depth. Longevity and projection were average. I see it as feminine, elegant, suitable for informal and mid-to-formal occasions in mild weather or cold. It reminds me a bit of Narciso (same vibe, different scent). I wouldn’t wear it myself (not my style), but I’d love to smell it on someone else. Pleasant: 6/10, Interesting: 7/10, Versatile: 6/10, Original: 7/10.

  • Generally pleasant. I perceive the tomato note a lot, and together with the leather, it gives a slight heaviness I can’t help but notice. Trail is skin-close, longevity and price are very acceptable.

  • One of the most elegant perfumes I’ve tried recently. I really loved it, and if I didn’t have so many, it could be my signature for autumn or fresh spring days. I met it with a 10ml mini, and after the first use, I got the 90ml bottle. The 10ml already passed on to a better life… In its opening, I’m passionate about the tomato leaf and lavender touches, and in its dry down, the patchouli-leather combo (the most prominent notes), slightly sweet with a touch of violet that adds powdery elegance, is addictive. It has moderate trail and lasts about 7 hours. In fresh spring, it projects a bit more. The scent it leaves on clothes the next day is divine. It’s present but subtle, not overwhelming but with lots of personality. It has conquered me. I recognize the good work of this house with its commercial and exclusive line. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 7/10, Trail 7/10, Value 7/10, Versatility 7.5/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

I found it in a miniature and bought the 90 ml bottle. It’s like a second skin, totally evolving. It starts sweet with mandarin but evolves significantly, leaving ultra-sensual suede mixed with tomato and lavender on a soft powdery base. It’s very sensual and elegant.

Sometimes I find that the declared notes aren’t exactly what I smell. For me, this perfume is lavender with honey, reminiscent of the Naxos style, with a very wearable suede base (I get saturated by leather) and a subtle powdery floral touch. I don’t detect the tomato note. The patchouli is fresh, not chocolatey like an Angel. It’s a formal aroma, not childish. It lasts and projects well.

Sometimes the listed notes don’t match what it actually smells like. To me, it’s lavender and honey, reminiscent of Naxos but with a suede base that works well (I get saturated by leather) and a powdery floral touch. I don’t smell the tomato note; the patchouli is fresh, nothing chocolatey like an Angel. It smells formal, not childish. Lasts long and projects well.

  • Super pleasant and feminine fragrance, perfect for winter. I love how long-lasting it is and that subtle blend of leather and flowers. The best part is that it’s not trendy; I’ve been wearing it for years and when I run out, I’ll definitely buy it again. It’s my perfume—feminine and elegant.
