Ahh! It was the yuzu that called to me so much. I was circling that distinctive note, almost waiting for Azuriiita’s review to confirm. Yes, it’s super feminine, elegantly to the max, very Italian, and with a flexible age range.
What luck to have it in my collection! It’s my first Trussardi (already thinking about others). I love the yuzu; it adds distinction without being sharp and combines great with the vanilla, which is key here. What rich jasmine and orange blossom! Subtle feminine fruity notes that put me in a good mood. Sandalwood, cedar, and patchouli are the pillars that give it longevity and intensity. I haven’t smelled it in years; it’s oriental-floral-fruity, very current but with the quality of the 90s. What more can I say? Just to recognize another great job by Nathalie Lorson. And the bottle is gorgeous.
Italian elegance from bottle to aroma! I use it in all seasons: citrus, fruity, lotus, cedar, and sandalwood, delicious! Longevity and sillage are moderate, perfect for a woman who knows how to wear it. A beautiful creation.
Wow, almost everything Remy says rings true for me :D. It evokes closed-toe stiletto shoes, soft golden leather, perhaps with a chic detail to highlight femininity. Every time I wear it, I feel good. If I use it from 6 pm or at night, the vanilla becomes sweeter and creamier, harmonizing with the flowers and giving a different nuance for the day; equally enchanting. I love wearing it where there’s a breeze because the sillage is very pleasant.
What a beauty! The opening is citrusy and juicy from the lemon and yuzu. A fruity fragrance surrounded by white flowers—jasmine, orange blossom, and lotus—bringing freshness and lightness. It ends with a soft vanilla that adds creaminess and a woody, refreshing cedar. I barely notice the sandalwood and patchouli, so I don’t feel that oriental side. It’s formal, classy, sophisticated, and charmingly Italian. Perfect for celebrations or to add elegance to work. Chic and youthful. Soft and very feminine, it doesn’t bother anyone; quite the opposite, it will delight those who get close. It’s an all-rounder, especially for warm weather. I use it alternating with Coco Mademoiselle. Duration and sillage are excellent. The bottle is sober and simple, with a gold rim, heavy, and marble-like; cold on the outside but protects the tender and warm fragrance inside. Donna makes me think of a woman in a white linen Armani dress, with a bracelet and gold sandals. Elegance and simplicity. A winning duo.
What a beauty! It starts citrusy and juicy with lemon and yuzu, surrounded by white flowers like jasmine and orange blossom to give freshness. It closes with creamy vanilla and woody cedar; I barely notice the sandalwood and patchouli, so it lacks that oriental touch. It’s formal, classy, and very elegant, ideal for celebrations or adding a chic, youthful touch to work. Soft and feminine, it doesn’t bother anyone but delights. All-terrain, perfect for heat. I alternate it with Coco Mademoiselle. Longevity and sillage are top-notch. The bottle is sober, heavy, and has a marble-like appearance, cold on the outside but protecting the fragrance’s heat. I imagine Donna in a white linen dress, a bracelet, and golden sandals. Pure elegance. A winning duo.
Donna Trussardi is a fragrance that’s fully feminine. A sweet citrus and ripe fruit start this scent elegantly and discreetly. The white flowers, sweet and enveloping, add depth and denote distinction and class. The vanilla, sweet but not gourmand, gives it a warm and intimate nuance. I don’t detect the oriental facet, just like in Remy. For me, it’s floral-fruity-vanilla. I’d wear it in fresh to cool weather. Today we have an August day that feels almost like autumn, cool with gusts of wind. I agree with Azuriiita: with the wind is when I like it most, because it allows me to appreciate facets that I don’t notice in heat or indoors. Although it’s versatile, for me it’s ideal for morning ceremonies. It brings to mind the scene from Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts in a brown ocre dress with beige polka dots. I like it. It’s a beautiful and distinguished perfume.
Donna Trussardi is a woman at her finest: sweet citrus and ripe fruits open elegantly. White flowers add depth and class, while vanilla provides warmth without being gourmand. I don’t detect the oriental side, so I see it as floral-fruity with vanilla. I’d wear it in fresh or cool weather; today it’s an autumnal August and with the wind, it’s more noticeable, as Azuriiita says. It’s versatile, ideal for morning ceremonies. It reminds me of the Pretty Woman scene with Julia Roberts’ ochre dress. Beautiful and distinguished.
Elegant, classic, sober. Those are the first words that come to mind when judging it. I see it as refined and stately. Feminine, with character and personality. It projects strongly, lasting well on skin and clothes. It’s not my type because I find it too serious and suited for an older age range. On my nose, I perceive flowers with a bitter touch.
Classic and elegant, it sounds serious and characterful. Smells like a mature, refined woman. I find it very long-lasting on clothes and skin with good projection. It’s not my style; it feels very formal and for older people. On my nose, it’s flowers with a bitter touch.
I love this fragrance. I smell the yuzu as a sweet citrus, but not mandarin, rather a spiced lemonade. The patchouli doesn’t shine alone; instead, it adds depth and complexity to the freshness, moving it away from light summer perfumes. That’s why it’s not fresh, sporty, or for heat. It doesn’t have standout sillage, but it lingers on skin and clothes all day and more. The bottle says it all: white for cleanliness and without excessive sweetness, gold for classic elegance without vulgarity, matte for the density and strength it contains. A work of art that escapes today’s aromatic clones.
I absolutely love this fragrance. The Yuzu citrus note feels sweet, not like an orange, but rather like a sweet and spiced lemonade. The patchouli doesn’t stand out separately; instead, it adds depth and complexity to the freshness, moving it away from light summer perfumes. That’s why I wouldn’t call it fresh, sporty, or for hot weather. It doesn’t have a standout sillage, but it lingers on skin and clothes all day and more. The bottle says it all: white for cleanliness, gold for classic elegance without vulgarity, but opaque for the density and strength it contains. A work of art that distances itself from the aromatic clones of today.
Bought it because it smells similar to my daily, Lanvin’s ‘Marry Me’. At first, they’re identical, but with wear, I notice this one is sweeter, sharper, and rougher; the patchouli gives it a gritty, powdery, intense texture that dominates the jasmine, yuzu, and patchouli (whereas Lanvin is lighter, aquatic, and subtle). I see it more as a mid-season scent than for summer; compared to Lanvin, it feels a bit heavy and less wearable for all day. Donna Trussardi smells of jasmine and green fruits like pear and citrus peel; that powdery drydown makes me uncomfortable. I’ll stick with Lanvin for daily life—it lasts longer than this. Because it’s powdery, its sillage is much heavier; I feel the perfume insists on its presence and doesn’t let me notice anything else. The longevity is 4-5 hours, it has a certain evening vibe so it adapts well to night, something Lanvin doesn’t do. For me, Donna is a more mature, empowered, and elegant version than Lanvin. The bottle and cap are super elegant and aristocratic; the shield on the cap looks beautiful.
I bought it because it’s similar to my daily, ‘Marry me by Lanvin’. The opening is practically identical at first impression, but with daily wear I notice differences: this one is sweeter, more acidic, and rougher. The patchouli gives it a rough, powdery, and intense texture; jasmine, yuzu, and patchouli dominate (Marry me is lighter, aquatic, and fruity). I’d say it’s a mid-season scent, heavier than Marry me, which is more wearable and delicate for daily use. Donna smells of jasmine and green fruit like pear and citrus peel; that powdery aftertaste feels uncomfortable to me. I stick with Marry me for going about my life and it lasts longer. Because it’s powdery, I notice a more intense and heavy sillage; I feel the perfume insists on its presence and I can’t ignore it. Duration is 4-5 hours. It has a certain nocturnal quality, so it adapts to the evening, something Marry me doesn’t do. For me, Donna is a more mature, older, empowered, and elegant version of Marry me. The bottle and cap are super elegant and aristocratic; the crest on the cap looks beautiful.
A fruity explosion, very rich, nothing informal, more elegant, but it looks super great for everyday wear. I loved it; it’s one of those revitalizing perfumes that I feel like using when I need energy.
Wonderful. Very summery, very fruity at first and more floral as it settles. Good trail and longevity. Yes, I would buy it again always for the summer season.
Elegance and freshness at the same time. Super rich, revitalizing. For intense summers where you want to smell rich, fresh, but still be noticed. It’s citrusy and woody in the base notes. I loved it.
A good perfume for spring, summer, and warm autumns. In summer, it’s more usable in air-conditioned indoor spaces, especially at work; at home or if you go out on very hot days, it evaporates. I smell the jasmine, the orange blossom, and in the dry-down, the vanilla and sandalwood that make it creamy. Would I buy it again? NO, I prefer Kenzo Aqua, which, despite being an EDT, has better longevity and projection on me. Edit: Finally, we met Trussardi Donna. I almost sold it, but I started wearing it in autumn and there we fell in love.
What a lovely scent, a delicious fruity floral that reminds me of an air freshener I have at home that I love, so the fact that it seems common doesn’t bother me. What does bother me is its short longevity on my skin, only 2 hours, and low trail. It was a pleasure, but due to the longevity, I doubt I’ll repurchase it.
What a beautiful perfume. It’s fresh, elegant, and truly Italian. To me, it smells like juicy tropical fruits bathed in vanilla and lemon, with a base of white flower petals. Everything mixed into a cocktail. Initial projection is very good, but it drops quickly and longevity is average. It’s well worth it and doesn’t smell like anything cliché. I recommend it, and let’s not even talk about layering it with bitter citrus: you add this cocktail of sweet fruits and magic.
I don’t know why Trussardi is so little-known for the stunning scents it edits. And at a moderate price: they’re not cheap, but not expensive either. This pleases me because it allows me to wear a scent different from most. Trussardi Donna is a bit citrusy, a bit floral, with such a pleasant creaminess that I couldn’t resist adding it to my collection. I expected lesser longevity due to its freshness, but it lasts quite a few hours without needing reapplication, with high projection at first and a discrete trail that reactivates with movement. Very versatile: I wore it in summer and it filled me with joy and vitality, but in autumn I bought one and checked that it works with cold too, fresh yet cozy. Ideal for formal and work environments: it doesn’t bother anyone, but has a natural, classic, and optimistic beauty. In summer, it’s exquisite at night; in winter, better in the morning or afternoon. It’s delicious to wear a sweater and feel it; it doesn’t stain clothes so much that you’d have to throw them in the laundry, but rather leaves a comforting scent. Wonderful.
A house I didn’t know, but now I’m head over heels for it. The best purchase of the season. Trussardi Donna is a hidden gem. Beautiful.
A house I didn’t know, but now I’m absolutely in love with it. The best acquisition of the season. Trussardi Donna is a hidden gem. Beautiful.
Simple yet versatile perfume, but absolutely gorgeous. Citrus without being sharp, floral with jasmine as the star, and fruity, all perfectly balanced. The notes are well-dosed, with a subtle sweet touch that’s pleasing throughout the evolution, especially when it dries down where it becomes more vanilla-like. 100% feminine. Medium projection and lasts about 6 hours on skin. Works well anytime, casual or special occasions, though I see it more as a daytime scent. If you’re looking for an all-rounder at a great price and love jasmine, give it a try. An underrated aroma that deserves more attention.
A simple, versatile, and extremely beautiful perfume. Citrusy without being sharp, floral with a predominant jasmine, and fruity, all in equal parts. The notes are well-balanced, with a subtle sweet point that’s very pleasant, especially in the dry-down, which becomes more vanilla-like. 100% feminine. Average projection and about 6 hours of longevity on skin. It looks good at any time, casual or special, though I see it as more daytime than nighttime. If you’re looking for an all-rounder at a good price and love jasmine, give it a try. It’s an underrated scent that deserves more attention.
I almost died trying to understand this perfume, but perseverance pays off. I tested it for months across all climates until I found its moment: fresh, rainy spring days between 12 and 18 degrees. Too hot and the vanilla gets cloying; too cold and the fruits don’t shine. What does it smell like? It’s the heir to YSL’s Belle d’Opium, but without the darkness or incense: sweet, feminine, with an astringent fruity touch, like a fruit salad with vanilla cream and lemon. The flowers mentioned on the website? Not a trace. Projection is excellent for 3 hours, then fades until it disappears by hour 19. It’s not my style; at 20°C, just two sprays gave me a headache. I recommend it for mature women who love sweetness without smelling like cheap candy or a quinceañera. Pleasant: 5/10, Interesting: 5/10, Versatile: 3/10, Original: 5/10
I got 10 ml and have used it for a couple of days until it ran out. It’s a creamy citrus fragrance for my nose. Like a lemon dessert but with very subtle woody notes that give it elegance, making it very versatile. Although I wouldn’t use it for events or dates because I prefer more intense scents for those occasions. I liked it, though I’d only repurchase it if I found it at a low price. I should also say that citrus isn’t my passion. Longevity and sillage on me are scarce; I can’t smell it after 2 hours, and the sillage is almost imperceptible from the start, or at least on my skin.
My first choice was Donna Pink Marina (because in Chile it’s hard to find before summer starts), but since it wasn’t available, I bought this blind based on the notes and reviews. What a pleasant surprise! I loved it, from the price (40,000 at outlet) to the longevity and sillage. I perceive the opening as more powdery than acidic, maybe because powdery notes aren’t my thing, but it quickly shifts to a fresh slice of lemon, then moves into a fruit cocktail that lingers on the skin, with sugary citrus touches and a hint of vanilla. When it reaches that point, the projection is delicious; if there’s a breeze or hair movement, that scent comes out and people notice it. It’s very delicious, not annoying because it’s not cloying or headache-inducing, just sweet fruits with sugar. It leaves a sensation of a fine, exclusive, very balanced, and feminine perfume. It’s hard to smell this scent on the street since it’s not well-known and rarely sold in retail. I’ve been looking for an appropriate daily perfume for going out and working for a while; this exceeded my expectations in price, scent, quality, and longevity. (I hope to get my beloved Donna Pink Marina soon, which is much rarer than Donna and equally delicious but fresher).
If anyone is interested, I have a full 100 ml EDP bottle. I bought it without testing, and although the fragrance is beautiful, it just doesn’t work on my skin.
Floral-fruity, slightly sweet, very feminine, and a good price. I received a sample and I think it’s harmless; you could buy it blind if you like feminine florals. It starts fresh but sweetens as it dries. I don’t dislike it, but it’s not special enough or I like it enough for my collection. Sillage is low, lasting 4 to 5 hours on my skin. It could be for daily use, but in my opinion, it’s just average.
Top fragrance to buy blind. Very fair price and smells divine: talcum-powdered, clean, fresh, and fruity (the citrus notes sound a bit powdery to me). Very elegant, refined, and empowering for a woman.
It has a gorgeous opening; I smelled pear, very fruity and not invasive. Minutes later, it dries down to a typical jasmine that I’ve heard in cheaper perfumes. In dry down, it’s super similar to Avon’s Faraway. It has incredible performance; I washed my wrist and I can still smell it the next day. I wouldn’t buy it based on its similarity to the one I mentioned.
Exquisite, refined, delicate, and very feminine, floral, sweet, and fruity in perfect balance… It just lacks a bit of power and longevity. I’d wear it all year round, especially during the day.
It’s a very lovely, tender, creamy, and truly delicate perfume. The problem is it lasts me a maximum of two hours; after that, I can’t even smell it on my skin. It does resemble Marry Me, but given its performance, I’ll stick with Lanvin.
It’s a very pretty and fresh perfume. The opening is powerful and instantly smells like jasmine. I own the Marry Me and didn’t see much resemblance at first; they smell different. I’ll definitely buy it again. Update: by day four, I notice the similarity with Marry Me; they share jasmine and Virginia cedar.
It’s wonderful: soft, clean, super delicate, and very feminine. A real gem. The longevity and sillage are just average.
