At first, you notice the pistachio, which fades quickly. When it dries, it has something that reminds me of Olympea. In fact, I told my kids to smell the cologne, and they said, ‘It smells like Grandma Sonia,’ and my mom uses Olympea. 😅 It smells good; I notice it’s sweet but not gourmand, and for me, it doesn’t quite convince me entirely.

I bought it the moment I smelled it. It’s true it smells almost identical to Olympea, but without that salty touch.

  • The same thing happened with the previous one: I heard it at a perfumery in Madrid out of curiosity, since they don’t sell Trussardi here, and without a doubt or even five minutes, I bought it. It’s sweet and balsamic, with a honeyed touch and that special smell of champaca mixed with jasmine. I’ve been wearing it for a few days; on hard skin, it lasts intact for 4 hours and then fades slowly. On clothes, it lasts until the next day. Undoubtedly a very interesting proposal. PS: The gold quality of the bottle isn’t very good; mine is already oxidized…

After Alien by Jean Paul Gaultier, Pure Jasmine is a beast of pure, realistic, and explosive jasmine. The opening is super fresh with neroli and bergamot, and in the heart, the jasmine shines embracing the lily of the valley. As it dries, it doesn’t fade but becomes woody with patchouli and sandalwood. It’s versatile; I wear it all year round and anywhere. On my skin, the trail is wide and the longevity is incredible. Note: in 2021 Trussardi launched another one with pink stripes, don’t confuse it with this one that has black stripes and is a very feminine jasmine. For me, who adores this accord, it’s a 10. I love it because it smells like a garden with a very lush flowering vine.

  • It’s a super versatile perfume, perfect for any season. It has become my daily essential.

I love when you fall silent and seem absent, like a butterfly complaining in a lullaby; I hear you from afar, and my voice can’t reach you. Let me fall silent with your silence. That Neruda verse led me to try this Trussardi, my great hidden gem, fifteen days ago. If I adore jasmine, what could possibly go wrong with Pure Jasmine? Nothing; it surprised me for the better. I have two realistic jasmines in my collection, but this isn’t redundant; I bought it after two skin tests. It opens with green pistachio, sparkling with bergamot, something intelligent that confuses. Then comes the intense, narcotic jasmine, and suddenly—bam!—a timeless pistachio punch. Shake your wrist, and the second surprise arrives: a buttery, chaotic, ethereal bouquet, as if sprays of young jasmine appear muffled by champaca magnolia. There’s a honey note here, perhaps the champaca reacting with Hedione, adding immense depth. This is exactly where I remember Neruda: the jasmine falls silent, the champaca too, generating a complex, addictive aroma, like a rare forest honey. I love it. Maybe the name doesn’t do it justice; it’s a reinterpretation, original but not pure jasmine, which is why it’s worth it. Great work by the perfumers. Neroli and lily of the valley give structure without standing out, vanilla replaces honey after three hours, and the sandalwood-patchouli combo closes it out from the fourth hour. Seven-hour longevity projecting for half an hour. Very versatile, suitable for any season. JASMINE LOVERS: try it! Cheers and follow me on TikTok: Chuliá Parfum Reviews @chulia.my13parfums

Pure Jasmine is a hidden gem that other releases have eclipsed, leaving it in anonymity. A classic floral over sweet vanilla and creamy sandalwood, with jasmine and other flowers giving it character, plus a light touch of nutty fruit, like walnut or pistachio. Nothing new up to this point, but the magic lies in how it projects: up close, it seems to barely exist or just smells like vanilla, but at one or two meters, the jasmine and creamy flowers fuse with everything in a gorgeous, magical accord. It’s a beautiful women’s fragrance, high quality, like paintings you need to appreciate from a distance. One of the best surprises of the year in the designer range.

  • I absolutely love this scent: it smells like high-end body cream, dry yet creamy, with incredible depth. It’s a timeless classic—nothing ‘lady-like,’ but rather a scent for a woman who has everything under control. Balanced, sweet, and floral, without those loud fruity or candy-like notes; it has presence, elevates without overpowering, offering a subtle yet necessary aura that evokes confidence in silence. It’s nothing like the Olympea others mention; I tested both on my skin, and Olympea smells like detergent next to this Pure Jasmine (better not compare them to avoid losing their individual grace: one gets overshadowed, the other becomes the ‘showstopper,’ but on their own paths, both are spectacular). Is it realistic jasmine? No, it’s creamy, earthy, and vanilla-infused—a mix never seen in nature, I wish that plant existed. Wear it for anything, it’s super versatile.

  • I love the concept: it smells like luxury body cream, creamy and dry, with great depth. It’s a classic, timeless scent for a woman who has everything under control. Balanced, sweet, and floral, without sharp fruity notes or dessert-like sweetness. It has great presence, makes you feel great wearing it, it doesn’t overpower but is indispensable. It evokes a confident woman in her silence. Nothing like Olympea; I tested both on my skin and Olympea smells like detergent compared to this Pure Jasmine. I don’t make comparisons because each shines on its own: Olympea is the ‘loudmouth’ and this one is the ‘lady’. Both are spectacular in their own way. Is it realistic jasmine? Not at all, it’s creamy, earthy, and vanilla-infused, a blend never seen in nature that I wish existed. Usage: for everything, very versatile.
