Descripción
Terre de Lumiere Edition Or by L'Occitane en Provence is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Calice Becker, Shyamala Maisondieu, and Nadege Le Garlantezec. The top notes unfold with bergamot, pink pepper, and ambrette musk; the heart reveals honey and lavender; while the base notes complete the olfactory pyramid with tonka bean, acacia, almond, and musk.

I stopped by the L’Occitane boutique just steps from my house and came across this super feminine fragrance. The sales associate, without even letting me speak, thrust it at me the moment I walked in, assuming I was looking for a gift for a nonexistent girlfriend (I was actually there to check out the ‘Les eaux’ line and their prices; I already own the ‘Eau du Badian’). My first thought was: ‘If I had a girlfriend, this is what I’d buy her.’ It smells very feminine, pleasant, nothing weird or surprising—sweet but not cloying, nothing overly loud. It has a honey note almost on the edge of gourmand, but unlike ‘Elie Saab Le Parfum,’ which I adore, this isn’t floral. Instead, it’s a blend of honey with herbal, spicy notes and a musky touch. I was genuinely surprised by its longevity. Perfect for cool nights or daytime events with a touch of formality. Aimed at women aged 25 to 45. I picture it on a serene, confident woman—beautiful but not eccentric, more refined, wearing a long dress in light colors. The scent isn’t particularly original; it likely reminds you of other sweet fragrances out there, but at least it makes you pause and think before buying it for your partner.

I love the scent—it smells very similar to Mon Guerlain, but honestly, it doesn’t last long on my skin, which is typical for almost everything from L’Occitane. If it were more intense, I’d recommend it 100%…
