Espartaco
A gorgeous sporty green floral soap bar, with hints of lime, green muguet, and cool flowers trailing water. It feels like the missing link between green muguet waters and the ozonics that would arrive a bit later. The base was a citrusy, green musk with memories of green flowers, that 90s sporty vibe already peeking out. Like one of those mid-90s revisions of white floral waters but with a sulfurous, talcum-powdered, limey twist, smelling of cold water gushing from an iron tap. Totally wearable today, it aged better than the Cuivrée version, which I like quite a bit but has Vedettes, mamachichometoca, and sheer stockings vibes… this was an uncomplicated perfume that smelled like pure bliss.
