At first, a very intense citrus, lemon as peel, very natural and fragrant. But that opening lasts between 5 to 10 minutes. Once it settles, it smells fresh, clean, slightly soapy with a hint of floral (maybe geranium?). Deeper down, oakmoss, pepper, and nutmeg give a very masculine impression. In my case, it’s a skin scent with soft to moderate sillage and moderate longevity, so I recommend reapplying after 6 hours. Clearly for summer and spring, mostly for daytime.

  • Exquisite citrus and woody blend with a robust opening: plenty of lemon peel for freshness and elegance. The masculine side comes from the woods and very subtle herbal nuances that add class. The iris is there but very discreet, not bothering those who dislike powdery scents. It gradually evolves to reveal floral notes with a very clean, soapy tone. It’s not an innocent citrus cologne; it has soul to go beyond simple refreshment and serves perfectly for formal occasions. Seems more suited for heat, but not to be dismissed for sunny winter days. It achieves a balance between simplicity and sophistication. It reminds me a lot of Guerlain L’Eau Boisée. There are no aquatic notes, and the ingredients feel very real. Projection and longevity are modest, enough for a full morning, not the whole day. All in all, a great option for a refreshing, personalized scent that brightens winter days.

  • What a joy this fragrance brings! Although it feels more masculine, it works great for everyone. It has great performance: it’s a spiced version of Eau Sauvage but with better longevity. When it dries down, it smells super similar to Annick Goutal’s Sables. I bought it blind, so if you don’t like classic citrus, maybe skip it. It’s a top pick for summer.
