  The fantastic Darkbeat lets me sniff out this interesting proposal: discretely woody, slightly spicy, with mid-level longevity and a soft sillage on my skin. It’s balanced, perfect for the workday, quite green at first and reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit after half an hour. I see it as suitable for cold or rainy days; it gives me a sense of melancholy and reflection typical of when the weather isn’t the best. I think it’s an interesting work, though it lacks a bit of power to become a future purchase. Anyway, I really liked it.

  I neither like nor dislike it. It opens with a woody cedar note, spiced with black pepper, with something green and metallic from the violet leaf. In the heart, it continues the woody line with a creamy sandalwood base and a sweet, resinous touch of benzoin. It’s woody, spiced, dry, and metallic with a sweet nuance; good for the office and versatile. It hasn’t fully convinced me due to that metallic touch and a somewhat artificial sensation. Moderate performance. Courtesy of Josesan. For spring, autumn, and winter, day and night. Longevity and projection are moderate.

  It smells like school and a pencil sharpener, taking me back to my childhood. It’s great, has good longevity, and a very good price. I recommend it, but watch out: it’s only for those who like the smell of wood, because it smells exactly like that.

  I bought it blindly out of curiosity, looking for something woody. At first, it smells exactly like a pencil sharpener, then it calms down, becoming resinous with a sweet and slightly leathery touch. In the dry-down, honestly, it smells like a clean vagina to me; I’m saying that because it’s my concrete experience. Projection and longevity are moderate. I don’t see it as versatile or specifically masculine; I think it’s unisex. It’s peculiar, I don’t think everyone will like it or get compliments for it. I bought it out of curiosity, but I doubt I’ll buy it again.

  I bought it blindly expecting it to smell like a pencil, but not quite; I own Gucci I and Bentley Absolute, which are exquisite, but this one delivers on its name: graphite. It smells like a pencil in a rule.

  I love it. I’m a fan of woody scents, and this smells like pure wood—as if I were standing in a lumberyard. It’s ideal for personal use or collection, not for turning heads, because the trail is very soft and it fades incredibly fast.
