It’s a fragrance with a formal yet youthful vibe, free from those childish notes that usually push you toward stronger, more serious scents. Very citrusy, clean, and fresh—it’s quite wearable. I feel it could use a mention of a subtle pepper note; it doesn’t dominate but adds a slightly spicy citrus touch.

It’s a more formal fragrance without losing its youthful edge; it just doesn’t smell childish anymore, making it perfect for encouraging you to try stronger, more serious perfumes. It’s very citrusy, clean, and fresh, quite wearable, though I feel they missed mentioning a light but present peppery touch—citrus and slightly spicy.

I admit I bought it out of fear after reading reviews saying it wasn’t safe for blind buys, that it was too strong and not for young people, but I’m so glad I took the chance because I discovered a beautiful, clean floral scent.

I’ll admit I bought this with hesitation after reading reviews saying it wasn’t blind-buy friendly, that it was too strong and not for young people… but I’m so glad I took the plunge. I discovered a beautiful, clean floral scent.

I’ve always been intrigued by Michael Kors perfumes until I finally decided on my first MK, the Sexy Amber—oh, I loved it the moment I smelled it, but that’s for another review. Now, with Sporty Citrus: after loving the Amber, I went hunting for more MK. Since my favorites are citrus blind buys, I grabbed this. To be honest, on first sniff, it felt too strong and spicy, as others mentioned; it reminded me of YSL’s Elle at times. But minutes later, it changes quite a bit; while Elle turns woody, this stays citrusy. Now that I’m retesting it since I never used it after opening it and didn’t like the initial impression, I think I’ll give it another shot. That citrus is still there; the scent hasn’t changed. Definitely a summer fragrance, but I’d say it’s not for everyone—it’s citrusy and fresh, yet it doesn’t smell like fruity citrus like Light Blue. It’s a powerful, strong, and spicy citrus that makes it refined and rare, which is why I repeat, it’s not for everyone. I’ll analyze its longevity and sillage next. After almost an hour, it doesn’t change; it feels quite skin-close. The bottle is adorable, minimalist like the entire Sexy and Gold line; unlike theirs which are metallic, the shape is the same and I love it. I recommend it for those who love strong citrus, because as I said, it’s not for everyone.

It’s very rich and lasts quite a while.

This perfume feels strong at first upon application, then softens a bit. There’s one ingredient I don’t entirely like; I think it’s the heavy musk saturation that makes it feel more mature and less youthful. But overall, the perfume isn’t bad—it’s elegant. Without flowers or sweetness, it comes across as serious and formal. It has good longevity.

It seemed very masculine to me; even though the product details don’t mention it, it smells heavily of patchouli with some citrus notes.

It smells very masculine, and although it’s not listed on the product details, I can definitely detect patchouli with a citrus touch.

I didn’t like it at all, and like Gabriela, I smell pepper in this fragrance. It reminded me a bit of Gucci II, which I also don’t like.

Looking for a gift for a friend, I stumbled upon this gem: it’s one of the three fragrances in Michael Kors’ Sporty, Sexy, or Glam line. Although I ended up gifting something else, I already know I’ll be buying this soon. What I liked most was the Sporty version compared to Glam or Sexy. Plus, I haven’t loved a citrus scent in ages, as I usually prefer oriental or gourmands. I didn’t know the notes, so here’s what I smelled at first hit: the first 10 seconds didn’t convince me due to a spicy note (I thought it was pepper) that vanished instantly, followed by something intensely citrusy taking over. I thought it was lime or lemon; in fact, it’s hard for me to admit there’s orange because I perceive a super zesty and cheerful vibe, nothing like bitter or herbal lime. I detected some tangerine, but very subtly, like when you smell your hands after peeling one to eat. The musk is super creamy and light, very feminine and tender; it gives a powdery and creamy touch. Maybe I should try it again for a better review, but these are my first impressions. The bottle is divine, super minimalist and charming, very Kors and chic. I wasn’t thrilled with the longevity: I applied it to the back of my hand and it didn’t last more than an hour, but it should be tested on other zones. I also tested it on blotter paper and I advise against it; honestly, this little perfume changes drastically from paper to skin.
