About Shalimar Millesime Rose
Shalimar Millesime Rose: The Rose in Full Bloom
Guerlain once again reinterprets its iconic Shalimar with a limited edition dedicated to the rose. Shalimar Millesime Rose, created by Delphine Jelk, launches in 2026 as an oriental floral fragrance for women.
This new creation builds on the classic Shalimar structure but transforms it with a rose-forward accord. The opening blends rose water, almond, and bergamot, offering a fresh, slightly nutty start that draws you in.
It's ideal for lovers of oriental and floral fragrances, especially those who appreciate sophisticated roses and creamy vanilla. It will also appeal to anyone seeking a scent with character and presence without being overpowering.
Shalimar Millesime Rose is a notable addition to the Shalimar family. Its balance of freshness, florals, and warmth makes it a must-have for collectors and for those who want a modern rose with classic roots.

I just received it and these are my first impressions!!! This is not Shalimar but it’s delicious!!! It’s roses and roses and more roses!!! Mind you, it’s not an extremely youthful rose even though in the opening you smell a fruity hint almost sour but it’s just a very light touch, more a fruity characteristic of the rose than a fruity note per se!!! The opening is the most interesting part so to speak, it’s a juicy rose thanks to the bergamot I suppose, then it turns into a sweeter and creamier rose thanks to the almond but softer, a bit combined with patchouli, and in the base it’s a soft rose and vanilla!!! What you smell the most is the rose from beginning to end but they are different roses, it’s not the same one!!! Very well achieved that!!! Longevity and projection are medium and closer to the skin in the drydown!!! It’s very pretty, floral and feminine, but adding vanilla and a very very light almost imperceptible incense doesn’t make it a flanker of Shalimar!!! It lacks more darkness for my taste but it goes in the line of flankers of Millesime Jasmin but in its rose version!!! Still it’s a very beautiful perfume and it’s worth it if you like rose 🌹
